If you're expectation here is "I want something durable and cheap" then get it. This thing gets bounced off the tile floor all the time and it's as good as new.

Small and precise

Sturdy skimmer square design makes it easy to skim the corners of the fryer so you get all the bits out. Mesh is fine enough to get smallest pieces. Cleans up very well a must for every fryer!

i did not realize it was 5 inch but its still is great, very sturdy and useful when frying donuts and other fried items. i just wish the handle was longer.

When I read the description 7 inch fine mesh skimmer I wasn’t expecting to get a monster skimmer with a wide mesh. I wouldn’t really recommend this for anything except larger fried items in a very large fryer.

We have a skimmer of both sizes and this has held up very well in our high volume establishment to heavy use and frequent washes.

THIS size is great for the fryer. catches a lot of junk and can help extend the life of your oil if you constantly use it. Also much better product if floating crumbs don't get on it

This is a must have! Especially when working with oil and frying foods. There are so many times when we need to sift out little pieces of fried food to keep the oil clean and this is the best way to do that while the oil is still cooking. Highly recommended and a great price as well!

We love this 7-in mesh skimmer. It's definitely easy to underestimate how large 7 inches are, as this thing struggles to fit in most of our pots. But that said, it gets the job done in larger pots.

The 7" fine mesh skimmer works well for skimming particles out of the deep frying, I didn't read the dimensions so it was a bit bigger than I expected but still works great. It also works well for stirring pots of noodles.

Bought this skimmer for my deep fryer to clean all the remaining debris from my funnel cakes or fried oreos. and works perfectly. i also used it to pick up my funnel cakes and place on my serving plates prior to handing them out to my customers. Works great!

I am baffled why these are so cheap in price. Awesome product, has stood the test of time (been dipping this in my fryer for YEARS and it is still in great shape). Just the right size, not too big, not too small.

This skimmer is heavy duty and lasts a long time before having to replace it. Due to the use in 350 degree grease, plus wear and tear, the mesh will start to pull away from the frame.

This fine mesh skimmer is great for cleaning out the extra crumbs from a fryer bay. This product was a little lighter weight than I was expecting but it still gets the job done it's just a lesser quality piece of equipment.
