These pans have very sharp edges which have cut our staff. The edges are not rolled under like traditional steel sheet trays which not only makes them dangerous but they are slightly too wide to fit in our commercial oven. You have to force them in as you listen to the sound of scraping metal. Writing this review in the hopes that this problem will be remedied.

Preheated with sheet inside oven, after the bread was done, had 2.5" raise on one corner. Very limited on what you can bake on these sheet pans with such a significant amount of wrapping. Not cost effective to return with restocking fee and shipping.

Unfortunately, this pan warped terribly in the oven. I had three six inch cake rings on it at the time, for a rainbow cake. Batter spilled terribly out of the bottom, cakes came out 20%-30% smaller than they should have been and tilted noticeably. I thought the sturdy construction would prevent warping, or cause it to warp less impactfully, but I was wrong. Pan washes easily, but that doesn't matter if I can't use it safely...just glad I wasn't roasting anything in oil, etc. Doubt I'll buy from this brand again. Might be useful for doing arts and crafts on, or decorating things that are already baked on.

High quality steel. These pans clean up easily and still look great after months of abuse. However, be aware that these pans warp dramatically whenever heating and cooling. This makes them rather dangerous for greasy items like bacon or chicken thighs, as they will spill hot grease off of the corners. I have noticed that the warping is much less now than it was when they were new. Other chefs have told me that beadless pans will warp less and less over time as they go through hundreds of heating/cooling cycles. Also worth mentioning: the edges are rather sharp when new. Please warn your dishwasher. Overall though, excellent quality product. Stands up to vicious steel wool scrubbing and keeps its mirror finish.

I really wanted for it to work, since it's the only s.s. trays that seemed worthy... On the first use of this tray for baking bread at 450F, the trays (which were of course pre washed with soap and dried) released a toxic smell, and warped. When they cool they seem to get back in shape - but that doesn't help... can't bake with them. There is such a complaint from 2014, ( was hoping this problem got fixed, but maybe not - since it happened with a few trays we bought from same type.

I needed something heavy duty to store my soap on as it cures. These stainless steel trays sure hold up to heavy loads. I can fit (physical dimensions) 23lbs of soap on each tray, and the tray shows no sign of movement or warping. This was exactly what I needed.

These pans are so solid... they never warp in the oven under high heat. Perfect for broiling and even air frying (with a mesh grate on it) in my convection oven. Love the open bead rim too. It's nicely finished so there is an edge but not in danger of getting cut.

I read what the manufacturer said about the sturdiness if this pan. Because truth is advertising is a minimum standard here in the US — I made my purchase in reliance upon that promise. I could not be more disappointed in how quickly and loudly this pan warped under a relatively insignificant temperature. The promises made on this website about the nit having to worry about the pan bending or warping could not be further from the truth. I have purchased many things from webrestaurant and I could not be more disappointed in their willingness to allow such false claims to sell merchandise on their platform.

Pan was heavy stainless steel, but warps significantly at 350 degrees, could be good for heavy pots but for baked good unusable. This is a rimless pan, which they claim can warp, not what I expected for a this much money for a pan.

We can't say enough about these pans. They have made our shipping department so much more sufficient. We put our packaged products on these pans and then place them on racks. Our shippers can easily pull the pans out from the rack and push the pan back. The pan is very sturdy and shiny. Great quality!

Ordered 3 of these sheet pans on Dec 17th .. I've used 2 of the pans 2 times .. once to dehydrate scallions at 175f in a convection oven (had no issues) & once again to roast some turkey carcasses for stock at 325f convection roast. Within 5 minutes of reaching temperature, both pans made pretty loud bangs as they warped quiet violently. Had to stop, remove both pans from the oven & use alternatives. Otherwise if I had left them to continue, I would have had meat juices all over the inside of my oven! Extremely disappointed that they warped so badly at such a moderately low temperature.

We use these for pretzel production, as the lye interferes with the finish on the regular bun pans. These stainless steel ones are super expensive, so I'd really only recommend them for applications where you really need the stainless steel.

I really want to like these as I love everything to be dishwasher friendly and do not put aluminum in (aluminum oxidizes with dish detergent). First set arrived wobbly and uneven. Webstaurant replaced and they looked good, until I put them in the oven (not extreme temperature) and they went cock-eyed. Cannot recommend.

Avoid this pan. You are paying a premium for a stainless steel pan, which you are not going to want to return given webstaurant's return policy. This pan warps easily and we found ourselves replacing it after the first use.

Thank you for the review, Salvatore! We're sorry you did not like this pan. To reduce the risk of warping, we suggest finding a pan with a lower gauge, since these have a thicker construction.

Read before you buy. I was excited to purchase this pan to use for cooking bacon in. It was used to replace a steel pan because I won't let my food come into contact with aluminum. I refuse to use aluminum based on experience, you do your own research. I stopped using this pan immediately after I received second degree burns for the second time after only using it twice. I think, that's called a clue. Each time I took the pan out to remove the bacon the pan would snap back into place sending searing hot bacon grease everywhere. I feel horrible thinking I may have prevented others from getting injured if I had wrote this sooner. If you get one know what can happen.

1 out of 1 found this review helpful

Thank you for the feedback, Candace. We're sorry this pan did not work for you. This pan is better for dry baking applications. Since it has a higher gauge, it is more likely to warp under extremely high heat. We recommend they try a lower gauge for a thicker pan that may better suit for cooking bacon.

Same Problem they had other reviewers. They bend with high heat causing to spill all the juices in the oven. I definitely not recommend them. Ill try the volrath ones and let you know.

Thank you for the review, Carmine. Since these are 20 gauge and a thinner metal, they are better for dry baking applications. We suggest switching to a sheet pan with a lower gauge which will offer a thicker, more durable alternative.

These pans warp suddenly in the oven, sending food spraying around the oven. Any oil/liquid ends up in one corner of the pan and the food doesn't cook evenly.

Thank you for your review, Hannah! Please note that due to this pan’s stainless steel composition, rapid changes in temperature may cause warping. To avoid this, place your pan in the oven before it’s hot and slowly warm up your pan as the oven preheats. A Customer Solutions Representative will contact you soon!

I ordered the Baker’s Line Bun Pan, but when it arrived, it was a Baker’s Mark pan instead. I’m not sure why they sent a different brand. Also, I specifically wanted something NSF certified, and now I’m not sure if this Baker’s Mark pan is actually NSF listed. That’s a big deal for me, so I’m hoping it still meets those standards.

Thank you for your review, Zhuangbo! We would like to gather more information about your experience with this pan. A Customer Solutions Representative will contact you soon. Please note, the Baker's Lane brand was formerly known as Baker's Mark, and the item you received with the Baker’s Mark brand is identical in all material respects to, and possesses the same certifications as, item 407HALFSS.

Sticky label peels off relatively easily when pre-heated to 110 degrees F. I also placed a pan of water below for moist heat but might work better without. Came off almost in one piece Vs overnight soak in water which shredded it. Then remaining glue under sticker rubs off quickly with 200 proof ethanol on paper towel. Ethanol towel also cleans well under the open-bead edge curl. I took off one star because it would be better to have the label on the bag only, and no sticker at all on the pan. At lease the sticker is on the back! Each of these quarter-size pans weighs 23 ounces. Edge is smooth on ones I received. I do not expect warping because I spread out food when baking. If you need warp-free and can't spread out the food: the alloy Invar (64 percent iron + 36 percent nickel) expands very little when heated

Have you ever gotten a sheet pan from just about anywhere and forgotten to dry it off after you wash it? It gets rusty and greasy and nasty on the underside where the lip folds over on the side of the pan. With the open bead on these pans, you’re able to clean in that lip - there’s no fold. This prevents the rust issues that you’ll experience with most residential-style pans. While these pans are not non-stick, I use the quilon-coated sheets from Baker’s Mark, which you can find in the You May Also Need section. Cleanup is a breeze, so don’t be turned away by the fact that these aren’t non-stick. I’ve had several of these for a couple of years now and they’re still in excellent shape!

Hard to believe how heavy this half sheet pan is. I weigh it in at over 2 pounds, 10 ounces. As many other reviews warn, it may still warp, so it's best to continue to use aluminum for anything that could exude liquid, such as hot bacon fat. But this is now my standard pan for everything else. The convenience of cleaning it in the dishwasher and the comfort of not worrying about consuming aluminum make this the go-to pan 90% of the time.

HEAVY AND WARPS EASILY I've had three of these pans for a few years. I was excited to find an alternative to aluminum pans; I'm not sure how much I believe all of the connection between aluminum in your body and various illnesses, but i was going through a holistic health phase and I was looking for stainless steel sheet pans for baking chicken. These seemed to be one of the few options. It's actually not a great pan at all for any application where the pan will come into contact with hot grease or oil. Like others have said, it warps terribly in the oven. All my pans have maintained a perma-warp, but it gets worse when when they heat up. Also, these things are heavy. They weigh about 3 pounds each. They stack really nicely, though.

Superlative! This is a high quality, heavy duty half sheet pan, with no sharp edges, that should provide years of service. It is a standard sized half sheet pan, (18 x 13") which means it will fit most home ovens. Parchment paper and silicone baking mats will fit it perfectly and these pans will stack. Reviewers who complained of warping failed to realize that stainless steel sheet pans must be started in a cold oven to allow them to heat slowly and not placed in a hot one. The sheet pan can "live" in your oven so you don't forget to put it in before pre-heating. You can cook directly on the pan's surface and clean up is easy, returning the pan to a beautiful shining sheet. (Best to cover the sheet with food evenly to avoid empty areas and the possible resulting hot spots.) Read More
