This stainless steel cover is perfect for our 4 quart pots. I've used other lids in the past where the handle above the notch broke off after some use. I have not experienced that with this lid. It can be a bit hard to clean inside of the notch.

We purchased a few of these lids and we liked them alot. We like how it has a little handle on top so you wont burn your fingers. and we like how there is a hole on the side for the spoon so it doesn't fall and get dirty in the pot. Very easy to clean, would highly recommend.

The notched stainless steel soup container covers work great as a replacement part. The other soup lids are very expensive, for a seemingly easy job. This keeps soup very warm and there is a space for the ladle.

These covers do a good job in keeping the contents inside the inset pots hot. The opening is useful because it allows to leave the ladle in and the soups covered at the same time.
