Save your money and buy a better brand if you are using it for a commercial. The blade is too dull where you have to use extreme force to push through. My bargain for cheap end up costing more money at the end since this is an online order.

I love the heavy duty cast iron body of this cutter; unfortunately, the blade assembly is flimsy. I've been using it to cut apples. Granted, this is a French Fry cutter, so it's designed to cut potatoes, but anything that's strong enough to cut potatoes should be strong enough to cut apples which are considerably softer. In fact, if you search for apple cutters on this site, you'll see that most of the results are potato cutters. Anyway, I've used this three times, each time for around an hour and a half. In that time, I've gone through five blade assemblies. None of them have lasted longer than an hour. Tried the russet potato in the machine and found I needed to ram the potato with the handle maybe 3 or 4 times to get it to go entirely through the machine. Tried the Idaho potato and found it was much easier to ram it through the cutter. Mind you, this was all done while the machine is sitting on my kitchen table. The russet potato seemed to be a much denser potato, as to why it took a little more effort to pass through the cutter. I personally liked the flavor of the Idaho potato over the taste of the Russet potato because the russet taste a bit bitter to me when fried. Great fry cutter. The metal is very heavy & thick which keeps it strudy & prevents it from breaking quickly. The 1/2" cut is a perfect sized fry.

We have used this EVERY day for 4 years and counting. We've bought replacement slicing pieces but the thing works great. Everyone loves our french fries.

I really like this cutter. I bought it to make fries at home. It is sturdy, and having the rubber cups stops it from sliding. The 1/2" blade can cut even big russet potatoes, though it take s some force. I am fond of using small yellow potatoes to make stubby small fries. The cutter cuts then without much efford. I really like the cutter.

Made extra heavy duty.I have a 1/4 and a 3/8 inch blade and the 3/8 blade works a lot better than the 1/4 blade does. The small the blades the harder it is to push.I love it.

This fry cutter was much needed as cutting them by hand was just too much. We did our research and I’m so glad we did. We saw similar fry cutters at a big retailer that was almost 3 times the price. The one we purchased here is well made, easy to use and it’s made such a difference in the way we make fries. It’s such great quality. We plan on buying multiple size blades. If you’re on the fence, get it. You will not be sorry!

Works great. My fries are fantastic when using this. It does need to be attached to the wall if you are using it often though.

Great value for the price offered! It even works on sweet potatoes, we use it on a regular basis and it has yet to show any signs of wear and tear. It cleans up like a dream which makes life a lot easier.

I would give it 4 stars but the suction cups fall off. We mounted it to a cutting board and it has stood the test of having high school students use and abuse it.

This french fry cutter has saved me hundreds of dollars by being able to make my own fries. Plus, I don't need as much freezer space for frozen fries any more. The fasteners need periodic tightening. Very durable and is not showing any signs of wear or damage despite me always putting it away to air dry.

This item is useless with the 1/4" cutter. It mashes the potato before it will go thru the cutters. Took out some of the blades and now make 1/4" x 1/2" fries. It would be nice if they offered some sution cups with it to hold it on the countertop.

Really great french fry cutter. I was sick of mucking about with a knife trying to get a consistent size and with this thing it's a piece of cake. The packaging was a little lackluster, It was a cardboard box and some foam inserts. The box looked a little beat up when I got it but all the parts were pristine when I opened it up. Granted this thing is 100% heavy metal so to do any damage it'd probably have to get dropped off a moving truck and then get run over by a different truck.

This is a commercial piece of kitchen equipment, not a cheap knock off. Strong and sturdy. Love it.

As a new customer and restaurant owner, I am unfamiliar with certain products. However, I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cast iron and stainless steel fry cutter. I will certainly consider ordering additional items for use in my restaurant.

Fry cutter is sharp and works well. Cut large potatoes so they don't get stuck and you'll be golden. I also ordered the suction cups for when I want it off the wall mount.

We make our french fries in house and this is a must! It gives the fries a nice even cut to all of them and makes cutting potatoes such a breeze. It's a bit heavy which helps keep it in position on the table.

This is my second machine. The old one I had for 10 years, and the knives got dull. When I bought the second machine, I ordered new blades for the old one. Russett Potatoes are tough to cut but I have my machine screwed down to a board so not so bad. Russets make the best fries. Webstaurant people are great to deal with.

Works amazingly well. Our fresh cut fries sell out every weekend. So worth buying this over cooking frozen fries. It is heavy and needs to be anchored to the wall. Worth every penny and has paid for itself already!

This item is Garbage, And broke on the first use! I had a replacement blade sent and again it broke on the first use. Seriously both sets of blades broke after trying to cut 1 Russet potato. Im currently trying to get a refund. Save your money and time and don't buy this trash.

Don't know we got along without this heavy cast iron beauty. I can't see any way to break this beast. Easy operation an any potato and we just take it outside and hose it down for clean up.

Fresh cut French fries are much better. This French fry cutter attached perfectly to my wall. It’s very strong. You can cut the potatoes rally fast with this. Not much jamming.

We love it! My boyfriend and I both have always wanted a better fry cutter than the little red plastic kind that don't work, so I bought this one, and you can do 2 or maybe even 3 potatoes at a time! It's just him and me and we're kinda oldish and I'm fat and he's skinny, so we air fry. We make plates for a couple of our fellow oldish folk neighbors when he cooks on the grill. It's a great way to live. Just handing out plates when we have the energy. :D

For many years i have wanted one of these fry cutter for the longest time. now i have one i use it 2 to 3 times a week for fries and making cubes for home fries i have ordered an 9 wedge cutter whicH I'm sure i will be very often.

I purchased this based on the recommendation of the website. I cut 2 sweet potatoes with the 6 wedge cutter, on the second potato the middle blade fell out. They sent me a replacement cutter and on the first russet potato the middle blade started to bend so I stopped. This is not designed to cut potatoes so please don’t buy it. If you see a picture of it the middle cutting blade it has no attachment in the center which causes this to be a defective product.
