Food and allergies are easy to mix in a kitchen. this is reason I chose to purchase this product, I comes with a rubber/silicone type lid keeping the moister out and other debris.

I really like how lightweight it is. It doesn’t seem super durable, but for the price it is great. We will be using it for powdered sugar.

This shaker works great for adding a dusting of sugar onto desserts. It is the perfect size to hold in your hand; it is much more convenient than using the strainer that I used to!

Love the size of this dredger. The mesh is fine enough to control flouring my counter to knead bread dough. I was concerned a 10oz container might be too big for me, but it holds the perfect amount and fits in my hand easily. The only drawback I would mention is that the plastic protective lid fits the top like a glove. If you put it on the top all the way, it will suck the metal top off. I have a video that shows this. I just discovered that poking a small hole in the top will help it not create a vacuum seal on the top. I also used my hands to pull the sidewalls of the lid to stretch it a little and that seems to help it not stick onto the top. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review.

This shaker sits in my pantry filled with powdered sugar and ready for use. It dispenses a light and even layer of fine sugar on my donuts or zeppole. Very hand to have prefilled.

Great shaker, we use these for our flour and powdered sugar, but could use for cinnamon as well. They are better than any other shaker I have tried, the lid is easy to remove!

We give every single item that we serve a dusting of powdered sugar and these shakers have held up under constant usage. Just ensure that you do not bend the shaker at all or getting the lid on and off will be impossible.

I use powder sugar or corn starch on to my mats so my fondant won't stick to it while rolling out. sometimes it spreads to much

it works fine but not 100% easy to open and close, the edges on the bottom of the lid are sharp and can cut your self easily.

Mess shakers are the way to go. I add just the right amount of powdered sugar to all my desserts now. Sometimes I even add cocoa to it.

Love this 10oz stainless steel shaker! Is perfect for powdered sugar so you know that even if there are a few clumps in your powdered sugarthey won't make it out. Great for sprinkling powdered sugar onto desserts or dusting surface while kneading fondant. Definitely going to order more!

Love these shakers with the mesh on top, they work best for triple pressed sugar on our Tiramisu. not as good for corse spices but still ok.

This is a very nice powdered sugar shaker from Webstaurant. I like the 10 ounce size. The shaker comes with a plastic cover that is great for keeping the powdered sugar fresh and keeping the powdered sugar from spilling out of the shaker when stored.

I make alot of pies which require the rolling out of dough. I fill this with flour and it is much controlled to cover the rolling area lightly than to hand sprinkle. This helps the dough not stick and also prevents haing too much flour.

We use this daily for our powdered sugar, it saves us time each morning. We use this instead of a colander to shake our products with sugar. Very convenient

The mesh shaker works well, and dispenses a bit more over a larger area than the non-mesh version also available on the Webstaurantstore. The lid is very convenient and helps the spices from absorbing moisture.

This shaker makes the perfect tool for dusting pastry with powdered sugar. The mesh in the lid is a size that lends itself to other finely ground spices as well, but would not work for herbs. Practice removing and replacing the lid a couple of times to make sure you know when it's secure or not because some people get confused with the plastic cap and inadvertently open the container. It gets 5 stars for doing what it's supposed to do easily and for a good price.

When I purchased this I wasn’t thinking on how easy these shakers will make my life decorating my cakes. I use this for powder confection sugar and I will be ordering 2 more.

I ordered two of these and one arrived in good condition but the other had a cracked lid. It is also a little difficult to open but is okay for the price.

It's good to sprinkle cornstarch on my surface but I find it very difficult to open. The cover seems to be too tight but besides that it works great.

Im only giving this 3 stars because the lid can be difficult to get off when it comes time to refill. Other than that this is a great shaker and a must have for any baker.

Great little shaker. We use this shaker for powdered sugar on top of french toast and it performs perfectly. It can have a tendency to get clogged but I'm pretty sure thats the powdered sugar and not the shaker.

Our BBQ restaurant uses these shakers for our meat rubs and seasonings. They are a great size and are easy to handle and refill! Recommend!

This is nice and sturdy. The plastic lid is a bit hard to take off, but I don't mind much because that way, I know that it won't accidentally fall off. The grating is a bit on the small side, so shaking it vigorously doesn't produce much output when I use it for flour.

I used to buy the regular stainless steel shaker but could never figure out when to refill know with the see through mess problem solved

I use these mesh shakers for baking and they've served me well. Pretty well made, good quality, and have held up well over time. My only complaint would be the removing the mesh top. The couple times it's gotten stuck, it made me want to throw it at the wall. Minus only one start because it very well might be user error...

Much nicer than our previous shakers. We use these on our condiment bars and barista stations for the usual powders and they distribute more evenly.

This mesh shakers makes for the perfect dispenser for corn starch or powdered sugar. When rolling fondant or modeling chocolate you need to be able to quickly dispense the powered and this shaker makes that so much easier.

What makes this better than other shakers is the lid. While that might seem like a minor plus, it's great to cover up spices that you don't use often. The mesh is fine and can be used for powdered sugar, cocoa power, cayenne, ground pepper, etc.
