This product worked great for awhile. Then the timer went out, it stopped cooking evenly and it started burning quickly. Inconsistent and difficult to clean.

We just received and started using this Carnival King Waffle Cone Maker in our ice cream shop. Unfortunately it cooks the waffle cones unevenly, to the extent that we cannot use this machine at all. The problem is that the heating plates are not aligned correctly. There is a large gap between the plates in the back and the plates touch in the front near the handle. It may be possible to take it apart and fix the issue, but trying may void the warranty. I read other reviews that mention this same issue. It must be pretty common.

Used in first and recently opened ice cream shop. Make 30-40 waffle cones a day. This has failed us basically from Day 1. Uneven cooking...parts burn while others are still barely cooked. Everything sticks so I have to use spray all the time. Also some parts of cone are thicker than others. Tried to order a Nemco except I've been waiting since July 9. First I was supposed to get in mid-august and now I;ve been informed after having to reach out after not receiving that it'll be November 1. So, we are stuck with a barely functioning unit as it gets worse every shift we use this unit. Super disappointing and real pain for a small ice cream shop. Please send suggestions of where to get a quality unit QUICK. Webstaurant should not be selling this as a commercial unit especially after the plethora of terrible reviews. Should be sold for personal and sporadic use only. Definitely not commercial quality.

First unit I bought had all the waffle cones coming out uneven. Thick at the back and thin and burned on the front. To their credit, they sent a new one assuming the first was defective. The new waffle cone maker was exactly the same. There is a 1/4” gap at the back that causes the uneven cooking. This is not defective it is how they are made and is certainly a design flaw. I would like to know if anyone has ever been able to cook an even waffle cone.

We bought this waffle cone maker to make our cones. It cooks the cones very unevenly. One side is often over cooked, while the other side still needs more time. Additionally, after only one month of use, the timer stopped working.

This unit worked excellent at first with some beautiful waffle cones made, but after being open 3 weeks the time has gone out and our waffle cones are now sticking really bad (we have been very careful with the coating) and the cooking is well done in the center and too blonde on the edges.

Not for commercial use. This item is not built for long service in a commercial environment. I used 6 of these for about 4-5 hours per day (on average) most didn't last for more than 3 months. I am a small business owner and I do not like to give unfavorable reviews as I don't want to mess with anyone's business, however, these should not be sold to commercial business. Home use or a small ice cream cart that makes 15-20 waffle cones per day, might be ok.

We've been using this waffle cone maker for about a week. The timer had already stopped working and it hasn't cooked evenly from day one. Wouldnt recommend.

First time trying the waffle maker, but is all lose. Not sure if that’s the way is supposed to be or if it’s damage. It is also uneven, the discos were waffle mix goes do not match evenly.

we purchased this waffle cone maker it stopped working, maybe of continuous use over time, not sure on how long it should last, but the top stopped heating up and waffle cones were not cooking properly. for the time that we had it, the maker worked perfect, making cones consistent. All things break at the end of day, but for the price it got its use.

Goes bad fast. We went through 2 of these in less than a year. Timer stops working. Then started only cooking on bottom, very uneven heating. Not easy to clean

works OK. it is a little unsteady but it gets the job done. it took me awhile to get it the right temp but after that it has worked great

Everyone loves Waffle cones but when you can make then fresh they really enjoy them. TheCarnival King WCM1 8" Waffle Cone Maker - 120V is a great purchase!

Honestly I read the previous reviews and took my chances since I have had Carnival King before. Well i should have listened, after two weeks the heating element was not even and I had to call customer service. Thank you Webstaurant for helping. Now on too different brand, fingers crossed (guess i should’ve taken photos of the cones)

When it was working, it was great. We have been using it for about a month and a half (intermittently, as we ran out of waffle mix a few times in between for weeks at a time) and already there is non stick coating breaking off constantly onto the waffles and we arent able to sell them. Issues with the timer others mentioned as well. Unfortunately for us, we bought it back in May and it sat unused in the box for 2 months, so I doubt there is any warranty. But in my opinion, expecting a product to last after a month of use should be *bare minimum*, which this didnt achieve :-(

Stop working two months after I got it

This waffle cone maker didn't work for me! Uneven cones and turning the knob isn't ideal for a busy ice cream shop. After doing allot of research I invested in the NEMCO waffle cone maker, it's fast, consistent and little wasted product.

WORKS WELL RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX AND EASY TO TRAIN STAFF ON USE AND CLEANNING. THE WAFFLE LIFTS OUT WITHOUT ANY STICKING AND THE TIMER WORKS PERFECT.

These last about a year with high volume. The plates start flaking and things start getting sticky. If the replacement plates weren't practically the same price as buying a new one, it wouldn't be so bad.

We use it every day to make fresh made waffle bowls. Easy to use. Baking consistently on it requires so getting used to and having a good batter but once you figure it out it’s easy.

Heats up quickly but the unit we received the waffle plates were not level and there was almost a 1/4 inch gap in the back near where the plates meet which would make the waffles be thick on one side and thinner on the other.

I was dissappointed when I realized that the heating plates did not cook evenly. Every waffle I made was the same with one end overdone and the underdone. I can not make cones since one end is too brittle. Unfortunately, I need to return it.

I was a little hesitant about this machine based on other reviews I have seen. Unlike others here, we make stroopwaffles with this machine. It has served us really well up until this point. For what we use it for and for the price it is hard to beat.

I started making my own waffle cones and this is a great maker for the cost. Fast free shipping with being a plus member. I now have 2 of these and make tons of cones. The smell and taste is fantastic.

The waffle maker does not cook the mix evenly. It can easily be fixed by adding some pressure where needed. The material will stick the mix to the surface, so you will need to add butter or oil.

This is one of the worst products I bought off of here, after about a weeks worth of use the waffle cones started to stick then burn. I wasted a lot of the waffle cone mix and found this was not worth the hassle and went back to buying the cones. Webstaurant was quick to credit my account, which was nice!

This is really heavy duty and perfect for making waffle cones. I would highly recommend it for a small cafe or for light aor minimal use.

We ordered 3 of these to replace 3 old Gold Medal ones (which we bought here along with most of the equipment in our shop) that were falling apart. All 3 cooked very inconsistent, and by inconsistent I mean burnt on one side, raw one the other. They also lack any sort of latch of any type to maintain a consistent thickness. This is a problem with waffle cones. We even altered our old recipe, cook times, and temps to no avail. We wanted these to work! And to make it worse, after a few days of use, we can't return them. Customer service keeps saying they will get back to us and nothing. We even sent them videos (which they asked for) of the makers cooking (beyond) inconsistent. We are stuck with three brand new (w/boxes) machines that my small business cant use. Other online stores would have took these back no questions and have them for the same price.

Easy to use waffle cone maker that has a useful timer. Easy to clean and maintain. A bit pricey but does what you need it to do

LOVE this waffle cone maker. I'm glad I chose this one, it is easy to clean and heats up nice. It takes about 30 second each side to make the perfect cone.

Worked great for about a month, then the timer stopped working. I should have had it replaced then as the heating element went out a few months later and it was no longer under warranty. I would not recommend this product.

Yes the unit is a little funky in regards to the heating element. The back left corner seems to cook faster than the rest of the cooking surface, HOWEVER, it is not much of a problem for us. As with anything, adapt and you can figure it out. We take the waffle off just a few seconds early and always get a pretty good result. I would recommend the unit as it is priced much better than comparable units.

A really nice quality waffle cone maker that makes delicious waffle cones in minutes. They smell great cooking and machine does a great job cooking them.

We have had this waffle cone maker for 5 months now. We make a large batch of waffle cones each day. However, we have gotten to the point where the non stick plates have lost their non stick and now all of our waffle cones stick which renders this maker useless. We have followed the manufacturers suggestions for maintaining the non stick, but it didn't seem to help. Also, the top "lid" is very wobble and doesn't latch to anything, so if you're not careful, cones with come out uneven. As time went on with the waffle maker, it would sometimes cook unevenly. One side would be perfect, but the other side would be a little darker. All in all, for the price I think this is a good option for casual cone making. If you are planning on using this as your primary maker and making a lot of cones, I would suggest upgrading to something nicer.

LOVE THIS! For the price is has held up very well. Heats up fast nad remains consistant. It does brown a little faster in the back.

Our waffle cones are a great hit with customers. Our cones come out tasting great! Nice and crispy! Recommend using a non stick spray to allow waffles to fall off!

tried MANY different brands of waffle cone makers (waring, nemco) and this one is the best so far. it feel pretty heavy duty and apparently (haven't tested it yet) you can change the plates which is a huge plus. sometimes these waffle makers are useless because the plates loose their protective coating. this one's the winner so far!

Very good quality and easy to use. Easy adjustable temperature and timer. Great for small shops making waffle cones. We use it for about 4 hours every day and it works great

This item is awesome! It takes a few minutes to get up to temperature but once it does takes 50 seconds to make fresh waffle cones. Customers love them and easy for staff to use.

I really like this waffle cone maker. Like with any new gadget we had to test and play with to get it right. I do recommend watching the informative short videos supplied here
