Seems to be a productive machine so far, but the all metal construction rattles and the motor is LOUD! We are used to the carnival king type machines that are ultra quiet. Can't really say how much louder it is versus a Gold Medal machine, but the leather floaters seem to be less quality than GM though. Our floater ripped and flew off on the first production, and they were cut uneven as well. Our local distributor showed us some GM floaters that are precision cut and polished leather. The paragon ones seem to be raw cut leather to whatever size. Not really happy about the loudness, but it's outputting a ton of candy. May try GM on the next machine.

I love this cotton candy machine! At first I was super confused because I couldn't get the cotton candy to come out enough to make a stick of cotton candy. I called WebstaurantStore and within 5 minutes of the call they had walked me through how to use the machine! It's definitely worth every penny!! You will not regret this machine or this company.

I purchased this item for use at our kids parties and school fund raisers. Couldn't be happier. I have made as few as 6-7 cones at a time and as many as 100 non-stop. easy to use, consistent results, never clogs up, cleans easily. Make no mistake though, this is a large machine, not a kids toy. it's not something you are going to set on the kitchen counter - unless you have a very large counter. I have no doubt this unit will stand up to continuous commercial use. I researched these machines extensively before purchase. This is by far the best value available.

Terrible! It’s so messy and spits out tiny bits of floss everywhere. We’ve tried everything and nothing seems to help or work we can’t even use it at all. Waste of money I tried to return it but I kept getting the run around and now can’t get my money back.

I wish we would have bought this machine from the start. This machine has never let us down, works like a charm. Produces a lot of floss, minimal cleaning. Self cleaning head is perfect.

I bought this event and have already used it several times! I was nervous because of the price, but I have already made my money back with 3 events! This machine works fast! I was able to make 110 cotton candy in less than 1 hour! The first time I used the machine I thought it was really loud, but after reading the directions again I was able to solve the problem. There are 2 knobs below the bowl that you can tighten for travel purposes. If you loosen them all of the way then it gets quieter. You will be able to hear customers just fine! I would reccomend getting the bubble for viewing purposes and it acts as a good sneezeguard! I hope this machine lasts a long time..it has proven to be awesome so far!

I am not very happy with this machine. I had a hard time attaching the head. you have to look into a tiny black hold to find where to insert the key to attach the head and remove It took quite some time to insert the key to attached the head, and when trying to remove the head after use. I could not see inside the dark space to insert the key to remove the head for cleaning. I even tried using a flashlight and still could not see anything. The machine is very noisy and vibrates. The floaters were cut different sizes and shapes, and does not stay in place even after wetting them as instructed, so cotton candy was flying out of the bowl everywhere. The machine is too loud and the spinning head wobbles (adding to the noise). It doesn't sound like a quality product and the bowl ends up moving around because of the violent shaking despite verifying that the head was screwed on tightly. I've already requested a return from the manufacturer and I'm extremely disappointed that it didn't work out. I didn't take the other reviews seriously that warned it was loud so please head this warning: the machine is unnecessarily loud and rattles to the point you will be concerned while running it and annoyed at the ridiculous level of noise.

We use this all of the time! We ordered this for two major events that we were having and they were perfect! They made more cotton candy sticks per hour than most machines that we've used.

This machine puts out a ton of cotton candy and quickly, which is also one of the few downfalls of the model. It is slightly louder that other models which makes it a little hard to work with when dealing with crowds. The candy spins out so rapidly it really is a two-three person job and makes it hard to keep up with. Be prepared to be wearing a head to toe cotton candy outfit by the end of the day. The quick making cotton candy machine can be a challenge for one person, but the output is worth it in the end. you can get a full days worth of candy in under an hour, easily. We love the result for the price point.

We added Cotton Candy to our summer menu. The unit works well for the 6 different flavors that we purchased. FYI, the dome is a must purchase or you have cotton candy everywhere.

I bought this Paragon Classic 5 Floss Maker to start a vending business. I used to own a GM Floss Boss, and it was barely adequate for the volume that I do... The Paragon Classic Floss 5 is twice the machine, it makes the Floss Boss look like a toy.... After test running my machine, I will be purchasing a Bubble Top for it, as without a top makes running it indoors impossible... (Unless you want to clean Cotton Candy off of everything in the house) If you are considering a new Floss machine, this is the one you want...
