This is a very solid plate and won't buckle under heavy use. It is similar to other plates available, but at a fraction of the price. I highly recommend it.

EXACTLY what we were looking for!!! These are sturdy plates, not as "thick" as I expected (they are strong plastic) but durable enough to hold a full plate without breaking. These will work beautifully for our upcoming wedding without paying the big box store price! Extremely happy!

I love thes Bone and Ivory plastic plates with gold bands. I use them for corporate and holiday events. When the table is set, these plates look like actual china. You can dress them up with linen napkins and regular silverware or use festive paper napkins and disposable silverware. Either way, these plates help make an excellent impression and statement.

I am very disappointed with these plates that were originally purchased for my wedding next month. I received the plates, and the plates are very flimsy and NOT at all heavy duty. I contacted customer service at webstaurant, who basically told me I was stuck with the plates unless I were to pay to ship them back and also pay a restocking fee. My fiancé and I are paying for our wedding ourselves, and really can't afford to send these back after ordering two boxes. I would highly recommend that you don't order these very flimsy plates for your wedding, or any other event.

These Fineline Silver Splender 9" Plates with gold bands are very good quality and will work perfect for my wedding reception. If you are looking for a large dinner plate you might want to go a size up. These work great with the 11" place mats we are using on the tables.

This is a nice sized dinner plate. It is bendable, but I don't think it would break if it had heavy food on it. There is 6.5-7" in the middle before the edge raises.

Used this plate to hold the main course meal. It is a beautiful piece to be paired with the 6" plate.. it is also durable and resistant to sagging when food is placed on it. the quality of the plate along with the design provided a great backdrop for the table when set up with the silverware. These plates were perfect for a formal dinner. They had a good weight to them and really didn't look like inexpensive plastic plates. My Grandmother reused one for about 8 months and it held up just fine. These are perfect when you want some extra elegance!
