I like having this can opener mounted and ready to go at all time. It can't be misplace! It's always ready to go whenever I need it.

In my opinion, this is the standard when it comes to manual can openers. These edlund models are tough, durable and the parts are relatively inexpensive, easy to fins and easy to replace.

This Edlund 11100 is a good heavy duty can opener. We've been using it everyday for several years now and still never have any problem. It is easy to remove the cutter and clean it in between uses!!

My ladies was struggling lots with all sorts of different can openers. I finally decided to buy this manual can opener. The best thing we ever bought for our kitchen!! The ladies are so HAPPY. Now they fight because they want to open the cans. LOL

Why do I order these? They are so expensive and rust very easily. Within a year of buying a new can opener, it rusts. I'm gonna buy the small handheld openers.

Replacing a 15 year old one same brand. We love it! Haven’t had a problem with any Edmund product. Would definitely recommend these over the cheaper ones because these last! Cheaper may be good but not for the long time span. However cheapest priced than any other place.

Edlund items are the know for their durability and longevity. We had to replace a 20+ year old can opener and we went right back to Edlund. Can't go wrong with their products.

Old Reliable is a good name for this can opener, easy to install on your prep table and works well. Just spray it down and run it through the dish machine to keep it clean, sanitized and it good working order and it will last you a long time.

This comes without the base. However Edlund can opener is the only way to go!

The can opener is great functionally. But the finish just doesn’t last and the screws that came with it are junk. Plan on going to the hardware store if you want the install done right.

There are other options out there for opening #10 cans that may be cheaper, but you get what you pay for. This is held up very well and continues to do so. Highly recommend!

We've tried many can openers. I would recommend spending the extra money and getting this one. the blade doesnt dull easy and the gear doesnt strip out quickly. It lasts a long time but when the arts do go bad, you can replace individual parts on it and not replace the whole unit.

I gave it 4 stars because hoping it will be so much better than the hand held one we are using now. Good reviews. Will be using it soon.

Really strong can opener, we use this to open large cans of tomato paste for mixing sauce. The blade is very sharp and the gear turns really smooth for can opening thats easy on the arms. We have mounted this to stainless work table.

Best can opener on the market. We have had multiple manual can openers and now we only buy Edlund brand. Also parts are available if needed.

Nothing beats a Edlund is what I have always heard. We had a can opener made by another company that has not held up at all. This one is rock solid.

This is a well made can opener that we use on a daily basis to open large cans. It is very easy to use and very efficient.

Maybe there is a secret we don't know that would encourage someone to buy the fancier version of can opener, but for us this one has been perfect. It takes a beating and it works great.

It's a workhorse! I was shocked at the price, not realizing how expensive can openers could be... but it's worth every penny. We use it all the time and it does the job.
