I love these cooling paddles. They great for cooling food and speeding up that process. I’ve never had any problem with them. They’re easy to clean and easy to store.

Used it to cool big pots of soup, after the 4th use, the side cracked and now I can't use it. Wasn't dropped or anything, just seemed to crack from the stark temperature change.

Paddle helps with cooling down hot stock much quicker in comparison to an ice bath alone. This isn't something completely necessary, but if you are concerned about getting the temp cooled quickly enough to keep your stock out of a dangerous temperature, this is a good tool to have in the kitchen to help with cooling just about anything.

Health department requires proper cool down of soaps and hot liquids. This product is perfect for big stock pot and holds up to walk in a cold environments.

Great idea but not the best performance. Takes longer than expected to cool product.

I have bought 2 sets of 2 within 3 months and they have all cracked..DO NOT Recommend..

We started using these to put in our hot soups and sauces at night to help them cool They work great and then in the morning you just run them the dish machine and refreeze them. No more issues with the health inspector and cooling temperatures.

It comes with extra caps but you shouldn't use them. Don't fill it higher than it says you are supposed to when you freeze it. After use, make sure to unfreeze all the water before re-freezing. If you don't melt all the ice before re-freezing, you risk building an ice spike that will poke through the cap.

We bought the rapi-kool cooling paddle to cool the soups and sauces for portioning. They are large enough to cool soups or sauces in a large pot. We are very happy with the purchase.

We make a lot of home made soups in our store. This cooling paddle gets the soup cooled in 1 hour or so. It helps us stay within health code requirements.

No matter where we buy these, we have issues with them cracking and leaking. When they don't break, they serve their purpose quite well. Given the near disposable nature of the product, we just buy them wherever they are cheapest. So far this site has the best price.

We have several of these in our high volume establishment and they hold up well to the rigors of daily use and washing. They are very affordable too.

I don't know how anyone could live without this simple device. I use it to cool shrimp and crab after boiling so that I can cool them enough to stop the cooking and steep them in the seasoning. I also cool soups, chile and stews in order to reduce their temperature before I put them in the refrigerator; so that I don't raise the temperature in the refrigerator and cause a lot of the contents to reach the temperature "danger point" and start to grow bacteria. I keep mine in the door of my freezer and have it ready whenever I need it. You/I can't afford to be without it.......

I bought two of these over a year ago and they have seen frequent use in that time. I regularly make large batches of soup to portion out and freeze for meals. These coolers have drastically cut down on the amount of time it takes to cool the soup. It gives me piece of mind knowing my food is cooled properly for safety reasons. They have been very durable so far.

This product works like it should. I just didn't think about how big it was. So if I make a small pot of soup, I have to put it in a larger pot in order to fit the paddle in. Minor adjustment for home use that's all.

I love it. I'm glad I finally bought one. It seems a bit pricey for just a bit of plastic, but it's the type of foodservice plastic that makes it what it is.

Qualitative. Great for cooling soups, sauces, or anything else. These are pretty durable (except the lids if you aren't careful, but they come with an extra) and as an update to previous reviews, ours didn't have any pesky stickers to remove from the outside.

This rapid cooling paddle works great for rapidly cooling our bulk amounts of sides and stews. I fits easily in our small freezer as well.

I want to love these. It makes the health department happy and they are easy to clean and they don't roll around in the freezer. They just break so easy. I've bought so many of these in my lifetime. I'm actually switching over to filing gallon ziplock bags with ice instead.

This product absolutely does its job and cleans up very easily. So far no cracking or other signs of wear. Perfect item for any commercial kitchen.

Purchased these based upon input from the department of health and they work perfectly. Easy to store and handle at a very good price. A must for our kitchen as we work to stay in compliance.

Not a quality product lasted 1 time and was used in a sauce well under the 195 temperature. Would not recommend this product. We have used cooling sticks for years.

These not only fulfill health department requirements but they also work great. We are excited to deploy them as much as we can to cool our liquids down.

These paddles get the job done. They cool whatever we need cooled within a few hours. I wish that each of the four sides was a bit longer. I think it would cook more efficiently.

These cooling paddles have not worked well for me. They break really easy. I have tried several different times with these same paddles and they all break.

These things are pretty nice for speeding up the cooling process of your stock pot items. We bought 1 and then purchased 2 additional ones. Only sadly, one did get a crack and leaked after about 4 months after purchase. Overall, though, happy with the effectiveness of the product.

This has worked really well for us and has been great for our kitchen and the food. WE have had no problems with it at all.

These huge 128 oz. Rapid cooling ice sticks are great for ice bathing! We use these to cool down our broths and they do a tremendous job for us. They are pretty big, but it's necessary to have that much ice.
