This thing is basically worthless. It sounds like it’s going to shave off a thin layer of the board, and 5-10 minutes later we’ll have a fresh board free of nicks and stains. Wrong! If you apply light pressure, it literally does nothing. If you put your back into it, It’ll gouge in, and jump across the board, gouging with each jump. You will ruin your board, and likely throw this tool away after 1 use

Works wonders! This little tool has saved us a lot of money from having to purchase new cutting boards to meet health requirements! They're easy to use and does a wonderful job getting rid of hard cut stains!

This is a decent product. While we never really ended up using it all that much, the few times we did it worked well. We just kind of felt that if the cutting board was that bad and we needed to refinish it, maybe we should just replace the cutting board.

These didn't work as easily or as well as I thought they would. They did work, but a bit more work than I had anticipated.

I bought to resurface a cutting board top for a used prep table cooler - it worked good I liked it took me a minute to figure it out but the blade is adjustable

This tool really helps to prolong the life of our cutting boards. After too much use they will still need replacement, but this toll is now an everyday use item for my staff, and it helps to keep things clean and sanitary.

Didn't really like. It doesn't shave that well. I think its worth looking for a better quality one. But it was cheap so I can't complain too much.

The Cutting Board Refinisher works by shaving off the very top layer of the board, thus smoothing over cuts nicks and burrs. Cutting boards are made of tough material and a good bit of strength is needed to accomplish this. If you plan to try this item, buy it sooner rather than later so you. It is wise to use this tool frequently for maintenance instead of waiting until the surface is in rough condition and needs to be totally refinished. I regret purchasing the replacement blade because my shoulder is in bad shape and purchasing new cutting boards is the better choice for me.

I had high hopes for this scraper, my boards are expensive and we need to replace every 2 years or so, at the price, this was worth a shot, but didn't work, i ended up buying a hand sander with 3 different frits, that worked to save my boards.

I really don't like this. There should be an easier way to refinish cutting boards. I curse this thing all the time. Please give us another option.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m so glad we discovered this tool. We have a ton of cutting boards and this helps prolong use for us. It is very easy to use once if he t the hang of the scraping motion. We even introduced our health inspector to it when she came for inspection and and she was amazed at how well it works and said she would recommend to everyone!

I absolutely love this product. I was about to through away all our cutting boards but saw this and decided to give it a try. Was amazed at how great the boards turned out.

This works perfectly to renew your pitted and scratched cutting boards. Really gets all of the cuts out. And all the nasty dirt and bacteria along with it.

What a great investments you can reuse an older cutting board. Very simply creates a new surface on a plastic cutting board. Also, makes cutting boards much easier to sanitize correctly.

Takes a little getting use to this, but once we had it figured out, we were reaping boards in no time. Basically just shaves away part of the cutting board.

If you want to save some money buying expensive cutter tables, this is a good alternative to recovery old cutting boards. Need i little patience and hard working time but the final results are good

Not the greatest refinisher. It refinishes unevenly and therefore makes this job very tedious. They work, just not as well as I had hoped, unfortunately.

We bought two of these to refinish our cutting boards on our lowboy sandwich units. They take A LOT of elbow grease, but in the end they work well.

This works great. Just be prepared to put some work into it. Not because it's cheap or doesn't work well, it just takes effort to get the thin layer off. But once you do, it looks new!

Cutting board refinisher is ok but not great. Does not maintain the cutting boards as well as I would need for frequent use. Would work great for slower restaurant possibly or maintaining brand new cutting boards.

This product does work, you need to use some elbow grease though. It's definitely not easy and takes some time but worth it because it saves you from having to buy new boards.

I bought this Cutting Board Refinisher not expecting much from it, Surprise, it did clean up our cutting boards. Just make sure you don't press to strong, a lite but firm pressure is all it needs to do the job! Cheaper alternative then buying all new cutting boards.

Just as good as the ones I can find at stores or elsewhere online but cheaper at Webstaurant! Cheaper is a good thing! Great service too! Not the best design to get leverage but way cheaper than new cutting boards

This tool is extremely important to everyday preparation. When cutting boards are used over an extended amount of time they begin have an increased amount of cut marks, this tools refinishes and eliminates those marks. This is a tool that also can help eliminate cross contamination.

I like the concept of this refinisher. It was not super practical for refinishing our worn cutting boards, perhaps if you were starting with a fair fresh board this would work better

I bout this item to take a chance. I was quite impressed with the results. All the cutting boards came out looking like new. This is a great alternative to replacing cutting boards

These do work to smooth out the board, but they do take quite a lot of effort. If you use them before the boards get too bad you can smooth them out though

This little thing works well. It has saved us money, by not buying a new board, and makes the health inspectors happy when they see a smooth board.

We love this! Wish we had found it earlier...we threw out cutting boards all the time. Our nice health department inspector was actually the one who recommended it and we are truly thankful.

This tool is fantastic to keep your cutting boards up to standard in a restaurant. Just a quick FYI; it does take a bit of manual labor to completely refinish a cutting board and multiple times considering how bad the board is. Our Vegetable cutting board had scratches everywhere and it took me about 2 hours total to make it look lie new. It was well worth it though!
