Bar Keepers Friend 12 oz. Cookware Cleansing & Polishing Powder is always a useful cleaning solution for any metal or ceramic. It works well on stuck on stains on aluminum without causing pitting, etc. I use it on my stainless steel and aluminum cookware.

i don't know how I can live without this bar keeper. 90% of my cookware is stainless and if you are as OCD as i am, then this is your best friend. Just wear gloves when you use this because it's a little harsh on your skin

Bar keeper's friend is my favorite kitchen item. It is very good for cleaning the bottom of pans. It is also great on stainless steal sinks.

I began using BKF 15 years ago to clean pots and pans and my kitchen sink; now I use it to clean everything from bathroom tile to the inside of my oven. It doesn’t scratch and it’s a breeze to use!
I have All-Clad Tri-Layer pans so you can't use steel wool without damaging them. This stuff works just as well if not better than the wool and you get more life and shine out of your pans. This stuff will take burned on meat and grease right off, no sticky residue at all.
I sprinkle Bar Keepers Friend into a slightly wet stainless steel kitchen sink and do a quick scrub - and poof, all clean. Works much better than other similar brands I've used in the past.
Bar Keepers Friend is truly your friend. When your cooking food sticking to the bottom of your pan will happen. And you can scrub and scrub - but it's still there. A little of this product - and wipe all away to a nice clean pan.
I used this in the foodservice world and recently got it for home use. Nothing works better - it keeps my prized all clad pans shining. Its strong, so I recommend you be careful not to get on clothes. Gloves and/or apron mat be a good idea!
I bought this to get the discoloration off of my good pots and pans and it works great! I highly recommend this product over other brands and its reasonably priced.

Bar Keepers friend is something you can use on everything. It is the best thing for cleaning and scrubbing stainless. Your three bin sink will love you for it.
An excellent powder for many cleaning purposes. We aliquoted small amounts into spray bottles to keep in both the bathrooms and kitchens for cleaning of stubborn spills and stains.
Bar Keepers Friend works great on soooo many things! In fact, I recently used it to clean the pink biofilm off of the bathtub! I've also used it to clean pots....These are pots that were immune to 30min of scrubbing with dish soap, but cleaned easily soaking for 5min in bar keepers friend. Just be careful not to soak silverware in it for too long. I did this with stainless steel flatware for too long and ended up with some stained spots on the silverware that I can't get out now!

bought this powder for removing stains on stainless that I was told would work by a friend. It did ok but really didnt do anything better than a normal cleaner

Bar Keepers Friend all purpose powder cleans the grime out of the bathtub faster and better than all those specialized bathroom-cleaners. In the kitchen, it's perfect for removing berry stains from the counter. I'm so glad I found it.
I'm still not sure that this is very different than the original Bar Keepers but because we love Bar Keepers so much we still will give it a five star. We use this in our sinks and on our cookware that is stainless steel. Though I am not sure it's a necessary product, considering Bar Keepers original would do the same thing, we will continue to use it because it can pull stains out of products like nothing I've ever seen.

Amazing product to use on stained stainless steel pots and pans. Make sure to double check that this will not damage the coating on your pans if you have non-stick or in a dutch oven but when used on the right surface, these cut down a lot of scrubbing time and get your cookware clean.
I found Bar Keepers Friend All Purpose Cleaning Powder to be versatile and economical. There are stronger cleaners that clean faster, but this is a great general cleaner.
We used Dawn to hand wash our dishes, but while it’s great for removing service grease, it doesn’t do a thing for tarnished pans. I needed something that was gentle enough on my stainless steel pans, but abrasive enough to get them sparkling like new again. Bar Keepers Friend is the best “at home” cleaning secret.
10 STARS!! I have used SO much of this stuff. I love using it on toilets and sinks but my favorite is to use it on my pans! Copper Pans beware!
This is the best counter top and sink cleaner I have used. Even when we get red juice stains it takes them off. Also cleans our coffee mugs
