I love the black color it is black and not off black. The knife handle is great which includes the choice brand in it. Blade is stiff which is what one wants. There is one thing I tend to do is take the knife to the belt sander and put a rounded edge on the blade near the handle. I use V sharpens and doing this allows you to sharpen the knife with out fear that you will get a curve in the blade. Almost every knife after a few dozen sharpening does this if you do not correct it.

Pretty decent knife for everyday use. Sand off the Choice branding and nobody the wiser.. lol

We probably have 30 knives in our kitchen and this one is my favorite/ most used. It is the perfect size for just about anything. The construction is sturdy and the blade is very easy to sharpen

I use this knife to cut my paninis in half on my food truck, & I absolutely love it. I've used it for over 2yrs now (6mo each yr, 40-100x each outing), & it's great! I sharpen it once in a while & it's as good as new! Totally recommend!

Great knife. Good value. Mine does have a little rust, and I am very careful with it. I'm sure the rest will come off with a little srubbing. Overall a good knife.

Love , love using this design. I get control over the blade going through my vegetables, sandwiches, and cheese products. It's also an excellent price point to have several. I'll buy more.

L~ Just one of several knives in this series that is perfect for light duty use at the bakery I worked at. And the bright yellow handle of the knife has shown no fading with use in chlorine based sanitizer.

I give these as gifts to people who aren't going to treat their knives well. College students, mother in law, people who I know will run their knives through the dishwasher. They are honestly great. Not victorinox awesome, but honestly way better than what most people have.

This Santoku is amazing. It is a great price. It is excellent quality. The knife is great for everyday use. Choice makes good affordable products.

Love, Love, Love. This Santoku knife is my tool of choice for EVERYTHING. Its super sharp so you have to be careful of cutting yourself. I love it especially for slicing cucumbers super thin and dicing vegetables. I use it for a clean cuts when cutting my wraps as well. Definitely will be purchasing more of these.

This 7" Santoku Knife is a great everyday knife. It isn't the sharpest or best, but it does get the job done. I also really like the colors they come in so we can have multiple knives for different uses.

Love this knife for chopping vegetables. Very sturdy. I know you are not supposed to put these in the dishwasher, we do and they wash very well.

This isn't the most luxurious knife or the best metal available, but that's not why you buy it. This is simply great for light food prep. Keep a knife honing steel nearby because you'll want to use it quickly before each knife use.

This is an absolutely perfect, reliable knife to stick in my knife roll for travel and camping. It's easy to spot and easy to grip, even with wet hands, and holds an edge well enough that I don't need to bring a honing rod with me.

Awesome knife for the price. Definitely worth having. Strong durable sharp. We bought two of these. good for meats and fruit and even whole bread.

A great everyday knife. Was just expecting mediocre, but the knife is incredibly sharp and comfortable to use. Can't beat it at this price. Not sure how long it will hold an edge.

Great generic kitchen knife to cut just about anything. We also have a 10" chefs knife to go with this. Easy to cut meats and produce.

You can't beat this knife for the price. Good sturdy handle. Blade stays sharp and cuts well. Not fussy, not fancy, just a good knife you can throw in the dishwasher.

I am glad to have this in my knife drawer. It has a nice handle. It is sharp it washes well and is a good weight.

Quality is not very good. Food like onion and cucumber sticks to it while cutting. Does not sharpen very well. used a couple of times and put them away,

This knife is already pretty sharp when you get it fresh out of the package. The shape of the blade helps to keep it sharp through alot of prep. Comfortable handle

Exactly what I needed. I use it to chop chocolate before melting, the shape of the blade keeps it from slipping as other knives tend to.

We have been using this knife for about 6 months and for its price it is quite good. It is easy to grind, the blade is not mistreated much and comfortable to use. We use it mostly to cut vegetables and is really great.

Great style and size knife. I like the santoku style to cut any of my vegetables. It covers most basis and uses because of the shape of it.

First off the knife is extremely sharp be careful. I am using these on my food truck for just about everything from slicicing,dicing,mincing,chopping etc,of meats and vegetables . It's a balanced knife with a handle that gives you a sure grip. Value and pricing I'll be purchasing again when a replacement is needed.

The 7" white Santoku knife is perfectly sharp and easy to use. I have large hands and it has a nice large handle to fit my needs.
