I bought a 65qt wheeled Catergator cooler because I was looking to upgrade to a rotomolded cooler. We do a lot of camping and trips often go 2-3 nights being remote away from sources of ice. The Catergator looked like a good quality cooler for the price when compared to the other big name coolers that cost 2x as much. I currently have a different brand 5 Day cooler that we've used for years and generally lasts 2-3 days of real use. I ran 3 tests of the other brand vs. Catergator saw mixed results against the other brand that cost 1/3 as much. Because the wheels are too small, it is virtually impossible to pull this cooler when it is full. Unless you hold the handle up way too high (which is extremely difficult because the cooler itself is VERY heavy). This completely defeats the whole purpose of it's use. We have gone to putting it on a rolly rack so that we can get some use out of it, but this is an embarrassing design flaw and should never be purchased.

Made a great gift. Better than my yeti cooler. I like the wheels and handles. On the heavy side but thats the quality behind it!

I bought this cooler for 5 day camping trip where the weather averaged in the high-eighty’s. The cooler worked great and kept all the food cold and retained the majority of the initial ice we added at the beginning of the trip. The key was to pre-chill the cooler that morning before our trip and make sure all items that are added to the cooler were also cold. On the fourth night, I convinced myself that this cooler was bear resistant and left it out of the bear box and that night the bear put my cooler to the test. Unfortunately, the cooler got destroyed however the bear was not able to penetrate though the interior plastic and we were able to pull all the remaining food out unscathed. I would say this is a well built cooler that has excellent ice retention and would consider this *bear resistant*. I hope to buy a replacement since I believe this cooler is very well built and I liked it a lot.

I spent months researching coolers and checking them out at every place I could think of for comparisons. I decided to take chance on this because I could only get online and the other brand was well outside the budget. I honestly was blown away once received. Built like a tank, high quality gasket, even wheels are very heavy duty and sturdy rivits hold in the rope handles. I dare anyone to find any better quality cooler like this for less.

Our Cater Gator just arrive after ordering it only 3 days ago! It is very impressive looking and feels super sturdy! Love all the features: wheels, stainless hardware, color (grey is much nicer looking in person) and so much more! Definitely got our monies worth! Can’t wait to use it and will add another review then!

This is the first cooler that we have had that is this big with wheels to make it so convenient to move. The cooler has a 24 inch ruler and two cup holders to hold beverages. I love the Seafoam color, it looks great. The drain makes this big cooler so easy to clean and the plug is attached with a chain to prevent you from losing it.

We bought 2 for our company events. It keeps the items very cold for days, which is great. However, there is a design flaw. When it is full it is exceedingly heavy and very hard to transport. If the handle was closer to the bottom, so you could lift and then carry it without hitting the back of your legs it would be more useful. But as is, you can only lift it a few inches off the ground and you can't even begin to take normal steps. We had very strong men moving them, and they were dying. We had 2 men carrying each cooler and they found it very difficult. I have to now buy rolling carts so we are able to use them since our events are offsite.

Bought this for hunting to cool meat down and keep it cool without refrigeration. I placed a couple of gallon jugs of water fully frozen and a couple of gallon ice cream pails full of water mostly frozen into the cooler to cool it down at the start of my trip and was curious how long it would last. After 2 days in my car with temps in the 90's during the day and 70 degrees overnight there was still some ice in the jugs. I was quite surprised since these coolers work best when packed with cold/frozen items and what I placed inside was nowhere near capacity. We ordered this for our foodtruck. The ice retention is compairable to the pricey brands. i like the wheels because this thing can get very heavy.

So far it looks to be a solid cooler, it shipped quickly to me (Utah) took about 3 days. Quality feels compatible with other big name brands, overall I would recommend this to someone, mine will be used for hunting, solid cooler especially for someone on a budget.

I would like to say the CatorGator 65 Quart cooler performed performed as I expected it to perform. I loaded it with $333.00 of frozen meat on the 24th of April and opened the chest on the 30th of April. Only the top 3rd was dethawed but still very cold. Loaded it in the freezer and my wife and I are happy as clams with the purchase of our CatorGator 65 Qt cooler. Thank you webstaurant for this great cooler.

7 hour trip with frozen goods and ice. When I arrived at my destination the ice was melting and frozen stuff was thawed. Not really what I was looking for.

Great cooler for the price. Wheels included is a bonus . You will save money just buying it for the wheel. Lifting a cooler is back breaking and just dangerous...

Very disappointed with this product. The rope handle to pull this cooler is extremely inadequate. Far too short to be used as a pull handle. Once loaded with ice and beverages, it almost becomes a two person job to move it. Used it once and will not use it again. Unfortunately I was advised by customer service to try and sell it on my own since there is no return option due to putting ice in it..

My favorite cooler disappeared at a tailgate. I searched for a while for a replacement and found this seemingly rock-solid, wheeled 65 at an amazing price. Five days of free-shipping from AZ to FL later, i just received it via FedEx. It IS a rock-solid, perfect-mid-sized, 10-day cooler, with heavy wheels and 100% usable interior space (no wheel cavities that make your beers fall over!). Its a REALLY good replacement for a Yeti (Yeti has no wheels this size either) AT LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE! A great deal, great service, great product! I couldn't be happier -

This cooler works great for keeping ice for many hours. We use crushed nugget ice at our restaurant, so it has a tendency to melt quicker if you aren't careful. This cooler does a good job keeping the ice for caterings.

Dissatisfied, Basically nonfunctional to wheel. I purchased for the ability to wheel to save having to carry or dolly coolers and first time using was incredibly frustrating. I didn’t bring dolly thinking would be able to wheel… even just a short distance was impossible. Did hold ice reasonably well.

We bought it for using on multi day river trips. Fits my 14' raft and nrs frame. A bit taller and narrower than ones designed specifically for rafting. It's on the cheaper end of the price spectrum and that fits with how well it holds ice. It definitely does NOT hold ice as well as the expensive ones. I put a cooler pad on top to help insulate it better and we have to run a wet blanket over the top to help keep it cool. The build seems good. We have not had problems with warping like others have stated, but we do have to make sure the lid pins are not falling out, which is one of my biggest complaints. Wish it had more slots for dividers as well.

I took this cooler on a 5 day camping trip, using frozen bottles of water as ice packs to keep seafood, meat, vegetables, butter, etc. I'm very pleased with how well the cooler held cold temperatures. From being repeatedly opened & closed, the water & food on the top eventually reached refrigerator temperatures (after at least 3 days), but the water bottles and adjacent food on the bottom remained hard-frozen. I did have a little leaking from the drain plug; I'm not certain if I simply didn't have it secured tightly enough or if it's an actual defect, so I'll have to test that out. Incidentally, yes the cooler is heavy, so I prechilled and filled it while it was in the car, and I kept it in the (warm!) car the whole trip. Empty, it's easy to carry with the rope handles and/or wheels. You probably can't find better coolerfor the price - and heck, the camo color is fun and different.

After owning plenty of coolers over the years this one was a home run. I was looking for a large cooler with Yeti, RTIc, Igloo, Coleman and more I ran across the CaterGator brand. I loved my Coleman extreme for years until they cheapen up the lid. I have the yeti 65, but it does not have wheel option. The CaterGaor has wheels, bottle opener and two cup holders built in. So far this cooler looks built very well. Yes, it is heavy, but what do you expect. We do a lot of entertaining at the house, tailgating at the local college and also sometimes do huge amounts of meat in the Sous Vide. So this cooler will not only be for keeping this cold, but also for keeping things warm at a steady temperature. In short I took a gamble and I won. If I need another cooler I will come here first.

This thing is heavy!! Fully loaded with drinks and ice it takes 2 really strong people to lift it. Even trying to roll it its still super heavy. Have you ever had someone ram into your heels in the store with a grocery cart. Be prepared this cooler will eat your heels alive. It Holds ice really well. Also it holds wine bottles upright. A question I asked but customer service did not have the answer to is will it fit a full restaurant pan. The answer is no. Its just a touch smaller which makes the pan tilt a little to the side. Too bad I'm sure it would have worked awesome holding hot stuff.

Great little cooler. Nice flowing drain and the lids seals very well. If the seal gets wet, it sometimes creates a vacuum, requiring a bit more effort to open. With Temps up to 80* F, ice lasts up to 5 days with minimal opening. Once the Temps go over 90, expect to be adding ice every other day. When the Temps go over 100, ice will melt daily, regardless of how cold it is inside. Still, a very nice cooler at a decent price.

Great unit overall keeps things cold for a long time and the wheels are nice. A couple things that bothered me though. It's heavier than expected. The lid gets suctioned closed sometimes and it's super hard to open you almost need a tool to get it open.

Awesome price for an excellent cooler. Held a block of ice for 5 days, with other small ice. Love the design. For the outside dimensions it has more space than other coolers its size. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price!

I have not had an opportunity to use this yet, but several friends and family members have this and it works great for them which is why I purchased. This cooler is tough and hardy! We've used a lot of coolers over the years and none have held up well or held up long. This cooler is built solidly, and I love how the lid is firmly attached so it won't break off easily. It keeps things cold very well! I haven't used it for long-term ice storage yet, but based on my current experience, I'm positive it will do very well. The only 2 cons I have found so far are the weight and transportability: - It is decently heavy, but it is worth the tradeoff for solid construction. - The rope handle makes it tough to get a good way to pull the cooler, especially when it is full. The smallness of the wheels and no-slip pads on the bottom does make it hard to move. Overall, I would purchase more of these if the need arises, because the pros outweigh the cons.

We are very happy with the build quality and functionality of our CaterGator. It is a very large Ice Chest, which is perfect for our needs. It held a lot of food/drinks and kept everything cold all day.

Cooler is well insulated and built quite sturdy as it is a true rotomold unit. Wheels are very solid and will last for sure. My concern is the rubber latches. They require substantial force to open and close. If you expect kids to open or close the cooler, forget about it. I'm an adult male and have to exert considerable hand/finger force to "pop" the rubber latches on and off their stops. Maybe this is a good thing if you don't want kids in the cooler, but if you have older folks or younger kids as expected users of this cooler I would be cautious. I have used many rotomold coolers and this one has the most difficult latches of them all. Otherwise, this cooler is an excellent value when compared to current market offerings.
