I got this to make dough in. The only problem is that it has BPA in it, so I don't like wet dough sitting in it. Get the ones without BPA.

The Cambro containers are great because they are clear, so you can easily identify what is inside. They stain resistant, durable and can hold a range of temperatures.

I do not understand round storage containers. I just don’t get it. Who doesn’t want to maximize space when it comes to storage containers (or at least not waste space unnecessarily)? Why do companies make these? It takes a heckuva lot to get a 5-star rating for me and a round storage container certainly isn’t going to get one. I purchased these grudgingly since I LOVE (5-stars) the SQUARE 2qt, 4qt, and 8qt Cambro Polycarbonate Food Storage Containers that I’ve been using for EVERYTHING. I wanted small containers for the fridge to store things that don’t need to stay cold, but will melt (e.g. chocolate chips) or go rancid more quickly (e.g. nuts) in the pantry. I use this for my dough to rise. Its easy to clean and it has the ability to be sturdy.

I use this (multiple) for preferments - poolish and levain - for artisan bread. good size to create a good preferment before mixing in the 12 quart. I use these a lot.

I primarily use this container when making stocks and it's superb for that purpose, like all Cambro containers it's resilient and sturdy, I've dropped it more than once and it just keeps going. Also easy to clean without tons of nooks and crannies, highly recommended.

Very happy with this product quality much better than typical home storage container. But more importantly very happy with this supplier. glad that pro quality gear is available at such reasonable pricing to the home wanna be chef. Plan to buy one of their table top ovens soon. And lot of other stuff.

The container is sturdy and I got the translucent lid. The lids DO NOT SEAL the container and they constantly pops off. Is it a manufacture problem with this specific batch?

I prefer the clear camber to the translucent because I can see the contents and their level easier. The two quart size is great for stacking in the refrigerator. Very durable and keeps food fresh.

I love the 12 quart clear round Cambro food container for bread making. It's the perfect size for dough rising for a double batch of homemade bread rounds. The polycarbonate material cleans up easily and does not retain stains and/or odors from foods. This is also a great size for mixing/storing large quantities of food.

This container is multi use. Dry or wet food can be stored and it does not stain, which is always a plus. Allows for easy stacking and has handles for an easy transport.

This container works great. We use it to mix our sauce for pulled pork. Its clear so we can tell that its mixed well and it wide enough that its easy to ladle the sauce out.

I had used the 6 QT for the past few years to make bread, but I sized up to store bulk goods like steel cut oats, brown rice, and beans. The 8 Qt is just a taller version of the 6 Qt container. They both use the same sized lid! I bought six total, they work great!

this container was just the right thing for using when i had to let my dough rise. And I also got the lid which fits perfectly.

So. Based in New Zealand. Been looking for this product for months around the region and further afield into Australia etc. No luck. Can find them on another site but for some reason the prices are twice the price of other suppliers and the cost to ship one product using their global shipping far far outweighs the value. Thought it wasn't meant to be. Then found these guys. Blown away. Have secured 6 items plus shipped door to door ( other side of the globe ) in around 8 days. That's amazingly fast when normal post here can take the same amount of time to travel a few hundred K'. Great product. Quick and easy ordering system. Cheapest around for these products and while others complain about postage - I had priority international shipping on the package for the same price the other site wanted to charge me for one. Couldn't be happier. A++

Nice stuff, hold everything from food to beverages. No smell like other bad quality plastic and product for long term. And what is important to me it easy-to-read measurement graduations which shows me liters and quarts. Recommend !

I have made my own breads for years and the recipe that I use is large. I would always use the turkey roaster pan ( you know the blue elongated one) A friend of mine has been using this for years and suggested it. 1) It holds alot and while hand kneading it doesn't make a mess. 2) So easy to clean when done. 3)Clearly marked so you can see when the dough doubles in size

The Cambro Camwear 6 Qt. Clear Round Food Storage Container is well made product and appears durable and easy to clean. I use it for different ferments that are larger in size. The plastic is nice and does absorb odors easily.

Works well for dry items such as pasta, sugar, and spices. The lid doesn't seal as well as the rectangle styles so we prefer using those for most foods.

I love these Cambro ingredient bins. The clear ones are worth paying a little extra for because they make identifying the contents so much easier. These are great for rising bread dough or storing other tools and ingredients.

Durable plastic, washes easily. I actually use it as a quick way to toss Caesar salads, and it helps a lot because they're stackable and easy to store.

I like the size and shape, the fact that is is clear so I can determine just what’s inside. I haven’t had is long enough to know if it holds up with the bumps and onocks it’s bound to receive after on. So far though it’s all that I expected.

Absolutely love it! This size was recommended by a bread book, I was skeptical because it is so large, but using it I have changed my mind. It is wonderful for mixing and proofing home made bread.

I bought this container at the recommendation of Ken Forkish's bread book. It is a great size for levains or sourdough starter. The container is easy to clean and the measurements on the sides are great, especially if you are keeping track of the rise of your starter.

This is a well built storage container for foods like mixing dough for Pizzas (my uses). The smaller size probably could have worked as well for my purposes but very satisfied with this purchase. The Cambro Camera top works well with this size.

Food storage container that works great for food preparation and storage as well. The Lines are in red and easy to see and good for measuring.

I have experimented with several food containers throughout the years, and I have learned it is best to spend a little extra up front instead of replacing them every few months. Product has met and exceeded expectations.

Solid well made container made in the USA with smooth edges all around. Loved the markings and clear sides that really help to show how much dough has risen when used for proofing. Did find that some of the markings had came off so unsure if it will all come off with frequent cleaning/usage. Was able to do a dough with 4.5 cups of flour in it. Could possibly proof a dough with 5-6 cups maximum.

Great item, holds a good amount, easy to clean and doesn't take on odors easily - the handles make it easy to grab and carry with one hand.

These are great Cambros and much much cheaper than we can get anywhere locally. Uses include sauces, soups, chopped veggies. Super durable and easy to clean.

Super easy to use. We use them for food storage in our cooler and they hold up really well against the cold temp. The lids seal on them very easily and create a good tight seal to prevent any leaking.

I like the translucent containers, they work well for us when mixing marinades to see if all the sugar or salt has dissolved. The gradations haven't washed off either which is a plus!

Cambro's great quality container, at a more reasonable size. I have used for any number of food storage items, all sealed well and stayed good in the fridge. Recommend.

This storage container is great for making iced coffee. It's able to hold the freshly brewed hot coffee, which is what we use to make iced coffee, and does well in a fridge when the coffee is cooling.

I am very glad that I made the choice to buy these Cambro containers. They are tough and durable, made to last a long time.
