Mine came in damaged which was a bummer. but the staff handled the situation very well, got us a partial refund for the damage. The machine works great.

I wouldn't even rate this one start if I could. I loved the size since I have a small kitchen, but after only having it for 15 months, it stopped holding the correct temp. It was out of warranty, and Avantco was awful about that, the service program we were referred to was terrible (aside from the technician himself, he was great). Turns out, it's a propane leak, which apparently happens often in these. The cost to fix is as much as I paid for it, so it looks like I'll be purchasing a new refrigerator that ISN'T Avantco. Very disappointed that a brand new refrigerator is broken within 15 months of use and that there's no warranty and the customer service on it is atrocious. Don't recommend.

Great fridge!!! Only reason for not having a 5 star review is because of the shelving. I put a heavier box of produce in a middle rack and it dropped the shelf out of place and fell on top of the other produce. If they would've made the shelf's a little bigger or the shelf holder a little thicker maybe it wouldn't slip. Other than that it's a great fridge.

This fridge is awesome! The clear doors make it easy to see what you have and keep a close eye on your inventory. I couldn't be happier!

Not a great product at all. It is supposed to be self-defrosting, but on 2 separate occasions the unit has iced over causing the temperature to soar. Which, in turn, meant we had to throw out our produce. I would recommend spending the extra and buying a Beverage Air or True.

DO NOT BUY THIS! Save yourself $$$ and inventory and headache, buy something from Beverage Air or similar. I purchased several Avantco units over the years: 2 lowboys, and a tallboy Freezer and a tallboy fridge. I have had to service these units in one way or another over the years, because they all start malfunctioning after 2 yrs. From failed circuits to leaking refrigerant, I have had all kinds of issues with this brand over the years. As a business owner to other business owners, I advise you to spend an extra grand or two for a better quality fridge/freezer. Each visit by a repairman cost me $350-500. That adds up over the last several years, not to mention the loss in inventory, especially for the freezer. If I could give zero stars I would. The cooler was delivered last week. The shelf supports were very crooked. There were also scratches all over the cooler and no protective film on the machine itself. Worst of all, the evaporator fan does not work at all. So I cannot use my 'brand new' cooler. I'm convinced I was sent a returned product. I've spoken to webstaurant multiple times. They initially gave me a discount but at this point I'd rather they pick this piece of junk up. Their customer service hasn't really been that helpful. Instead i now have to use their warranty company which so far has been useless. At this point I just have a really big, expensive kitchen decoration. Don't order.

We could not afford an actual reach-in refrigerator so we ordered the Avantco 81" solid door reach-in refrigerator. We could not be more pleased. It has much more space then we could imagine. We would buy it again!

3 years and unit still works as first day!

Had this for about a year and half. Used in a temperature stable area at a residence because we'd need two extra refrigerators for our combined households and this was perfect for about a year. Unit stopped maintaining temperature and now both the suction and discharge pressures are the same. I've since been to two restaurants with advantco refrigerators that said something to the effect of: "for beverages only not for storing food due to temperature". I now have a really fancy stainless steel pantry. Almost wish I could just plumb a glycol chiller to the heat exchanger. And I don't have to worry about no one working on a commercial appliance at a residence because every place I called wouldn't work on this brand.

As our business grew, so was our need for a bigger refrigerator. This refrigerator fit our needs perfectly. The shelves are easily adjustable and the full size pans fit perfectly.

I am very disappointed with this Avantco refrigerator due to the fact the compressor has failed in less than 16 months after installation. The unit that I had previously lasted for about 18 years before I had to replace it. I did replace fan motors and recharge the coolant over those years but the compressor never failed. I am glad to have the 5-year warranty on the compressor but didn't expect to use it so soon. Makes we worried about the future.

A lot of issues with this refrigerator, thankfully they were resolved but it did cause unnecessary stress. I also wish I would have know about the temperature range before purchasing. For example if you set your refrigerator to 33 degrees it will stay at 39.9 because there is a 7 degree range.

This 3 door reach-in-refrigerator is as expected.

A lillte hiccups with shippers, but atlast with a smile and a handshake. All worked out in the end. Easy set up wonderful

Wow! This fridge is a showstopper. Temp is preset so no guesswork. Keeps temp and wheels on the unit is a plus!

This has been a fantastic addition to our prep kitchen, saving people from keeping the door open to try and figure out what is in there. Since we share the space with other caterers this helps to make sure everything is cleaned up and out between events.

To say that I am more than just disappointed is an understatement. I purchased this Avantco Refrigerator at the end of March 2021 and within the two months of owning it I have had 4 service repairs, and the first one was done within the first week of owning it. Allegedly, the repairmen had “fixed” the issue. Yet here I am. Still having issues. The inner walls are covered in condensation (that is not supposed to happen), the set temperature rises on its own, and the gasket needed to be replaced…. The equipment is only 2 months old…this should not be happening at all. And to make matters worse, Webstaurant has truly not been helpful regarding the matter. As a longtime customer this is completely upsetting. I have always trusted Avantco and Webstaurant, but with this last purchase, my trust is beginning to wane. I wish I could say “I hope someone will resolve this issue soon”, but with what I have seen, hoping seems to be such a waste of time.

I’m a longtime customer of Webstaurant store, but just had a shocking experience. I purchased this Avantco fridge and a matching freezer. From the moment I plugged them in I was completely dissatisfied. It is extremely noisy. Every 25 minutes the blower goes on because the unit keeps losing temperature and the blower sounds like an airplane is taking off. The shocking part is that Webstaurant refuses to let me return it. Perhaps in a large noisy environment you won’t mind the noise but I am extremely unhappy with this purchase but Webstaurants policy is that once you open the box you cannot return it!! This is a terrible policy and I cannot recommend buying any large appliance from them until this policy is changed

Nice unit.... but.... it is still a single space with no barrier between the upper and lower sections. Also the shelf support brackets that hold the shelf rails are no the same length front and back so the bottom 3 shelf positions on the back support don't have a corresponding front support location. It really limits the options for the storage of smaller items.

Like many others in the review section, my unit has also had compressor failure within the first 2 years. A commercial refrigeration service company established that the parts are still under warrantee. However, when they ordered them, they are on back order with no idea when they would be available. I have now been without the only source of commercial refrigeration we had. Granted, we’re a smaller operation…but without the ability to hold briskets prior to smoking, we’ve lost thousands of dollars because we cannot cook the volume without the holding capacity. We’re still trying to get the status of the parts and have no idea when it will be operational...losing money every day.

We were very happy to get this refrigerator. It fit just where we wanted it. Easy to set up. Easy to clean. It did come with a good size dent in the side, but that does not affect the operation at all. Shelves are nice and strong. Caution - does shuts tight and seals tight. Can be a little hard to open. Would buy again.

This cooler worked great until it we had it for 14 months (2 months past warranty). It stopped holding the correct temperature. It has been a headache trying to get in touch with the company that handles the warranty in the case that it is the compressor (which has a 5 year warranty). There are also very few refrigeration companies in our area that are licensed to purchase the type of refrigerant needed for this cooler. After reading other reviews, it seems that these problems are the norm for this model, around the same time frame. Super disappointed with the product and even more so with the service level provided when it stopped working properly.

Good value for the price. Mine arrived with a dent on the top corner that seemed to have happened during transport. Customer service took my complaint seriously and compensated fairly for the damage. Very satisfied overall.

This refrigerator stopped cooling after 15 months, 3 months past the warranty. I had to call for service and they found the capillary tube was blocked and had to be replaced. This required the refrigerant to be evacuated and the unit to be recharged. Our total bill for the repair was over $800 because it took over 5 hours to complete. A commercial refrigerator should last longer than 15 months before needing a major repair. I have also purchased an Advantco freezer before the refrigerator stopped working. I sure hope I get better results from the freezer.

I purchased this unit in 2018. It didn't last 8 months and the compressor went out. Webstaurant sent a technician out and couldnt fix the problem. So they replaced the whole fridge. Needless to say 13 months later on the second fridge now the evaporator has gone out . Within the replacement of the second fridge, I purchased 2 more of the same fridges to go into my mobile food trailer. I have contacted Webstaurant and they will not stand behind the unit due to it has gone out of warranty of 1 month expired past the due date of warranty. So needless to say It is gonna cost me$1700 to repair, These fridges as far as I am concerned are a piece of junk. I wouldn't purchase or will not be purchasing any more of these units from them. I am building more food trucks , but will buy my equipment name brand and from someone else.

The fridge works great so far. It's a bit loud when the compressor first kicks on, but it is a commercial refrigerator, after all so that's to be expected. The shelves are sturdy and are easy to install. The main downside is the way it was packaged when it was shipped. You either need multiple people to lift the entire refrigerator off the pallets, which is unsafe, or you need a motorized forklift, which I can't imagine many kitchens have access to.

As a small business owner I am extremely disappointed with this unit and the company as a whole. I purchased a refrigerator and after 13 months the evap coil started to leak propane refrigerant which is a FIRE HAZARD. I called to have the unit serviced under warranty and they told me callously that i missed the cut off by less than one month. Also, the part is back ordered 3-4 months, so even if i wanted to have it fixed outside of warranty it will be 3-4 months and an estimated. I have been a longtime Webstaraunt customer but this has made me shop elsewhere. Please be wary of Avantco products. It seems as if they are meant to only work for the warranty period. then POOF.

This fridge is good when it works. Since purchasing we have had to completely clear out the fridge about 6 times and remove the top cover where the coils are. We have had to melt a HUGE block of ice built up. Will recommend spending a couple more bucks and getting a better fridge.

Do. not waste your money. Even before the 12 months of use the middle door came off the hinged and swung out almost causing severe injury. Now that was fixed and the door on the left has the same issue. I am only one in the kitchen so not sure why the doors keep breaking off the door screw on the top of the fridge. What a hedd ache and hassle as the. dpprs not close correctly

Unit failed after two years. It is cheaper to buy a new one than get it repaired. And of course, we lost a lot of product when it failed and have to deal with the inconvenience of pulling this one out and replacing it with something else.

Arrived with a damaged , but, Webstraunt as always took care of it. I highly recommend this refrigerator. Good box for the money! Very quiet.

DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT! We bought it and the extended warranty and let me tell you this unit has worked less than it has functioned in the 3 years we've had it, now the part that needs replaced cannot be found, so here we are 6 months without a working fridge for a business that desperately needs refrigeration. Don't buy and if you do, don't buy the warranty it is literally the worst company ever to work with.
