Don’t waste your money trying to save money. Our business purchased this as well as several other avantco refrigeration products. We are constantly having to check temps and monitor the units because they do not cool properly. Currently on the 3rd service call in 3 months. The warranty tech that came out said we will always regret buying such cheap equipment. We have lost food in this freezer twice. If we had a doover we’d wait until we could afford the better equipment.

Would not recommend. We spent a few weeks trying to get one fixed, and eventually we just had to get it replaced. Now, earlier this year we had another one break. We were told that the condenser fan was broken, and that the part would be in in a few weeks. Now, about 4 months later, the freezer is still sitting here, still broken.. We have called the manufacturer, and the repair service. Nowhere on the entire internet can i find this part, and nobody we have called knows where it is, or when it will be in, First we were told a few weeks, then we were told 2 months, then we were told late April, now were told late May, and im sure when we call again, they'll say late June. Absolutely ridiculous. They're still making these freezers so seemingly the part exists somewhere, but until they can get their crap together were stuck with a comically large paperweight. The part we need is 17816215, so if anyone out there has information on where i can get it please let me know.

Well, the freezer didn't do too bad. 14 months of service and then it conked out on me. Need a whole new fan installed to cool down the compressor. Probably wouldn't get this unless you need something on the cheaper side temporary because you're not going to get longevity out of it.

Trash. Ordered this freezer and had it delivered two weeks ago. Moved it into the restaurant and got it out of the packaging and pallet to find what was clearly a pre owner freezer. We were surprised it did not have any of the adhesive tape that covers stainless appliances but then upon closer inspection it was clear it was on the unit at one point but had all been removed except for the areas that take a little effort. The shelves were not zip tied together like every other fridge and freezer I have ever purchased. Instead they were thrown in the freezer loosely. The clips that hold the shelves which always come in a bag were also tossed into the unit except for a few where half on them were clipped in but were done so upside down by somebody who had no idea what they were doing. Read More

We purchased this item on November 30, 2018. It is not even 2 years old and the product has torn up twice. The second time was in September 2020 and we are told that what is wrong with it, that it is not repairable. It is the fan that prevents the door from freezing together. So this company does not honor their product and I will never purchase another product by this name again. Companies need to realize if they dont back their product then people will not purchase their products anymore. I give this product a 0-1 star because the looks of this product is good but the quality is not.

I would not recommend buying this brand Avantco, we had this freezer for less than a year and it broke. The repair is covered under warranty but the company would not allow us to use our repair service and selected one themselves. It has now been four weeks and the unit is still not repaired.

We buy exclusively Avantco, and so far no issues. The way I see it, we can buy Avantco, and if we get 3 years out of it we saved money buying a more expensive brand. My preventative maintenance guy tells me they're all made the same these days anyway... Either way we 3 restaurants, and the oldest units we have are 5 1/2 years old, and have had zero repairs. we have a 2x a year preventative maintenance plan, and so far has done us very well.

This unit was recommended to me by our refrigeration company. They said that this brand is not one they get a lot of service calls for and it's a good value for the money. I thank them for the recommendation! This unit is great, plenty of space, looks good and haven't had any issues with it. Be prepared to have plenty of people to help get it in the building though because the delivery driver just drops it off, they don't help with the install.

So far I love this freezer. The delivery went very smoothly and quickly. The freezer keeps the ice I store in it nice and frozen and holds 50 tubs, most quite as big as my old one but it’s a great feeezer and a good price ! Because I enrolled in th “plus” program, shipping was free.

The overall design of this freezer is okay. The problem is all of the materials used to build it are of the lowest quality. I am a restaurant equipment repair manager and have 20 years experience and have performed warranty work on Continental, True, and Beverage Air. If you do a high volume, this freezer is not for you.

I dont recommend this freezer. I bought it in october 2020. Now august 2022 and it is not maintaining the temperature. I called tech support and they helped out and recommended to call a local technician. Spend a little extra money on a better brand.

just two months from 3 years of use, condenser fan stopped working. I'm going try to replace the condenser fan myself but this freezer's unit all under, will be a tough job to do! rather working with units on top. Final thought DONT BUY THIS ONE!

This 2 door reach in freezer is excellent. It comes very well packed and ready to install. It is very quiet and holds temp around -6 or so. The doors auto seal after each time you close them which is a great feature. I would def recommend this freezer.

What can i say.. lets just say it was love at first sight. Cant ask for more good product for the best price out there everywhere i looked was soo mich expensive love webstaurant

This freezer stopped holding temp after 6 months of use. I have thawed meats I need to toss which resulted in a a huge amount of lost sales.

This product is priced perfectly. It is perfect for our establishment and needs. We love the Avantco products.we purchased this within the year and have zero issues.

This is a great freezer! Plenty of space and availability for many shelves for all ingredients. It has a beautiful chrome finish that cleans so easily!

Though it had a little damage?I have to say this freezer has much room for restaurant use?It has two side and each one has 5shelves?and it is big enough for small retaurant use?

This freezer is the perfect size when you have limited space and holds more than what you would think. Doors open wide and stay open for easy loading or reaching in to get stuff.

The product quality is terrible. 1 out of 3 was defect upon arrival. The temp was set at -7.6, but the unit does not go below +7.3!

Purchased this freezer and I'm having issue temperature will not stay constant will not get to the -5° that I am trying to get it to the seal is cracked moisture is coming through not happy. I've got food ordered because this is a new startup business having now to look for another freezer.

Just received this product. Plugged it in and it would not freeze. After talking with customer service and speaking with warranty company for a BRAND new freezer I am being told the wrong digital thermostat was installed. This is setting my open up by atleast a week until it gets fixed.

Never use RL carriers again extremely rude and very un professional. If they are ever assigned to a delivery for me again I will not accept product and will return product.it was 2 days late and Came in dented driver said you already signed it's your problem now.i mean he was right there

Quality was not as expected just because I received it damaged. There was rust and deep penetration from pitting . Was told to clean it and use this and that from the emails to here. They did give me a discount but have received so much damaged big ticket items just from shipping companies not caring

This Avantco 54" solid double door reach-in freezer is very affordable. such a great quality and shipped fast. I would highly recommended buying this product. Love this product!!!

We use this Avanco freezer for our frozen food, açaí, fruits. 2 large doors . Very accessible if we put large trays in there. We can arrange the shelving based on our needs.

This has been a lifesaver for our bakery. We use the 16 pan insert on each side and can hold more in one freezer than we could in 5 of our old freezers.

Our freezers are working really well. They are very large inside but fit in compact places. We have not had any problems. Doors do stick for a second after closing if you are tying to open right back up again.

Just got this in and I couldn’t be happier! This is a must have piece of kitchen equipment. I highly recommend this product to any and every kitchen.
