Complete JUNK !! I bought in early 2020 thinking will be nice to have a new dependable stainless fridge that last many years... in Mid 2021, one year and few months after purchasing, the fridge stop cooling, had leaked out all the freon, called Webstaurant and Avantco, all they said, sorry warranty only lasted 1 year.... AWESOME, way to stand by your product and sell junk. So a refrigeration tech looked for a leak with no luck and filled with freon... last another 6 months and again leaked out freon, then added freon again for a 2nd time, and just today, the freon has leaked out for a 3rd time in past 2 years...from 3 yr old fridge... wow !! like I said at the beginning.. Complete JUNK !! I've been in bar and restaurant business for 21 years, and with multiple rental properties... this has been the worse appliance I've ever purchased.. congratulations !! If anyone is interested, i have shiny stainless box for sale that used to be a 3 yr old Avantco Refrigerator

New Buyers: this refrigerator lasted about 24-mos before the compressor gave out. You get what you pay for with Avantco.

Refrigerator is garbage, cheap parts, mine lasted a year a year and the cost to repair was high.

Do not buy refrigerators from webstraunt. This unit is leaking water right from the start of plugging it in it smells about a cup of water every two hours onto the floor. The warranty process as a dumpster fire Webstaurant tells me to contact a warranty company the warranty company won’t do anything without putting the serial number in the website and when I put the serial number in the website it says it doesn’t work. So now I have a refrigerator that nobody can do anything about spilling water on the floor I’ve spent multiple hours dealing with different customer service reps with zero remedies. Their warrantee process is broken beyond repair. . Start buying refrigeration from a local company where you can actually deal with sales reps. I did that with the last restaurant I opened it was so much better and I only paid a little bit more

This refrigerator lasted right at about 2 years. Poor decision on my part to try a low priced option. Have purchased other brands with no issues to date.

I had this refrigerator for 3 years and 2 months and it STOPPED WORKING. The coolant ran out and I had to pay to have it refilled. It ran out within a few weeks due to a leak they can't find. The warranty ran out 2 months before it BROKE!!! I Do not recommend. I should be able to get more than 3 years out a commercial fridge.

The refrigerator works for a year and half and then stopped working. Assume the 1 year warranty is because this is common. Wouldn't recommend purchasing this product if you expect it to work for long.

Do not recommend. R 290 freon is a joke. Burns up the compressor in 1 1/2 years to 2 years. I bought 9 of these and 1 by 1 the compressor is burning out. I was told by my heating and air guy that he's had nothing but calls on the R290 refrigeration units. The compressor is only warranted for 1 year so after 2 years I've had 3 of these burn out and went to the scrape yard.

Very disappointed. After 3 years of VERY light use - closed 15 months due to covid, so used less than 2 years, the evaporator went out there is also a leak in the tube cap. I’ve had two companies quote and it’s going to cost more than the unit originally cost me to fix it. At this point, I would consider that to be a “disposable” fridge. Not happy!

Ordered in October 2020...no problems until it completed died in July 2023. It needed a new compressor already. It would have cost more to fix than we originally paid.

I have had this refrigerator for only 2 years and have to pay someone to look at it because it won't stay under 50 degrees.

That's already our second Avantco Refrigerator and we have one more Freezer, as of today we have never experienced any huge issues. Definitely worth buying!

The refrigerator is working as expected, pretty sturdy. The main door is a little bit stiff and won't completely close by itself but overall a good product, so far so good.

NEED HELP! I have had this refrigerator for 2 months. Working great. My only complaint is the time we are locked out after closing the door. I need to adjust the wait time & can not find info. on it.

This refrigerator is surprisingly spaces for the amount of space it takes up. Very durable shelves. We especially enjoyed that the shelves are easily adjustable. It comes ready to operate without any need for adjustments from the factory.

Great option for the amount of business that I have. Easy to move and with lots of space for small business. The best part is that the motor is on the bottom so you dont kill your back.

I love this new cooler, so much room. The temperature control is in plain sight. And the price was great. Delivery was so smooth!

Worked great for 24 months, very lightly used. Copper lines sprung a couple leaks and would not cool anymore. Repair was $1300!!! Total scam of selling refrigerators that will just go within the first couple of years. Repair guy said Avantco and others notorious for this!! Webstaurant should stop carrying these.

Dead on arrival. Instead of expediting a replacement, Webstaurant is making me file a warranty claim. I should have read the terrible reviews more carefully. Having been a Webstaurant customer for 10 years, I would have expected them to prioritize taking care of a customer over helping a supplier leave me holding the bag. So, don't buy this fridge, and don't buy one from Webstaurant--there are obviously better options out there on both fronts.

This is the worst product. Do not buy this refrigerator. It died last then a year of purchase. And the warranty service is just as bad or maybe worst. My refrigerator has been waiting for parts now 1 1/2 months. Do not buy this product. And warranty company is terrible.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. And this is the *second* Avantco fridge I've bought from WebstaurantStore that turned out to be a dud in just a few years of light use. Purchased April 2019, developed a leak in 2022 and started running hot. The fridge was regassed by a fridge technician, and then it ran cold (ish) for just a few months before deteriorating and running hot again. Thermostat set to 36, actual fridge temp is 56. Sorry, but for reasons of Public Health, we can't store our dairy at 56 degrees. So, we called in a different fridge technician this time. He said, regassing it won't help. It's a low-side leak, and it needs new condenser coils and evaporator coils, a new heat exchanger, filter drier, draining pan coils, AND then of course a freon recharge. This Avantco 29" solid door reach-in refrigerator is very affordable. such a great quality and shipped fast. I would highly recommended buying this product. Love this product!!!

For the price and space it provides, I give it 2 stars and then 1 star for accessibility. Loss of two stars for long lasting. I've bought over a dozen of these and typically at around the 14-24 months mark, you'll have to do repairs. I've have 2 of these required new compressors (additional service fees). All of them loose freon (another serv ice fee) One replacement of a door seal 4 repairs - thermostat or controller replacements. For this cost, I should have bought a better brand.

Only the front two wheels lock which makes it absolutely terrible for kitchen floor we've tried everything. We had to resort to taking the wheels off and putting it up on bricks

Great refrigerator. Only set back is that the wheel locks aren't strong enough for the amount of effort needed to open the door so the fridge will follow you unless you hold it back with your foot before opening.

This Solid Door Reach in Refrigerator, makes it easier to grab what you need without going into the walk-in Refrigerator all the time. It's very convenient.

We purchased this refrigerator 2 years ago and haven't had any trouble out of it. It is in a high volume restaurant and we are constantly opening and closing the doors. We are looking at purchasing a 2nd for our other location.

We purchased this refrigerator when we first opened four years ago. It is still working very well. The handle could be made better. It actually fell off and there is no way to fix it other than buying a brand new door.

Replaced the standard shelves with the in fridge bun rack which is perfect for our operation. Temperature fluctuates with the door open a lot more wildly when I would have expected.

It's been about a year since we've ordered this fridge. So far so good! it's been a champ for our little cafe - it gets really hot in our kitchen and this fridge has managed to stay cool and run quiet. Hope it keeps running for a long long time!

We bought this fridge to go along side our other Advantco fridge. This fridge has performed well in a very hot environment. The door seals will need to be replaced every 6 months to a year... so plan on that accordingly.

This refrigerator has worked well for us so far! It was the perfect size to accommodate the extra need for cold storage. We have a 54 inch refrigerator in addition to this one. Would recommend.

With this refrigerator and the space it has it makes storing things with a large capacity at ease. The culinary committee loves the purchase that was made.

This unit required technician reprogramming. It was not holding temperature appropriately when initially received. It seems it was programmed with the old refrigerant settings applied to the controller.

I've had this fridge right at a year now and this is a very good fridge at a great price. It cools down very quickly, it's very quiet, and it is very efficient. I would recommend this to anyone looking a for a good commercial fridge.

This is an awesome reach in refrigerator if you have small space area in the kitchen the temperature indicator in the outside helps a lot to find out the temperature inside the fridge

Small, compact and yet roomy inside. It fits everywhere, even the busiest of the kitchen. The compressor is not noisy at all, barely audible. We are really satisfied with our purchase.

So far so good so I'll give it five stars. It holds temperature well and has a clear thermometer on the outside so you know how your food is being stored.
