So far, a decent refrigerator. Sleek looking, sturdy, and at a decent price. We really appreciate the slim depth design. Unfortunately, the factory packing design is so terrible it makes us regret our decision. For one, it came completely encased in wood, with the casters locked into the boards. There was no screws or nail-heads, so the only way to dissasamble the boards are to pry it off. The boards are also bolted to the unit itself. Unfortunately, the employee who was working in the factory completely ignored the faulty solder job on one of the interior nuts that one of the bolts was on. It came barely on, but could not be removed. After two hours of work, we were able to cut break apart the wood, but still leaving the bolt there. Refrigerator came packed very difficult to un pack. the casters where bolted to wood....need help unless unless you lay the unit on its side, which is not good. The digital controller is not good. goes from cold to defrost and hard to see exactly what you are doing. Gets cold the warm try to use digital controller hard to use.....mine worked off and on for 2 yrs til it stopped getting cold. Appliance company comes out for 220 dollars and tell me refrigerant is low. No taps on machine, have to cut in taps, drain refrigerant that is flammable and replace. Customer service says cant do a thing. Be careful with this refrigerator .

The compressor does not run often enough, causing huge temperature swings. Internal temp will hover at 45-50 before starting cooling cycle, and it takes a long time to cool down. Digital thermometer reads incorrectly, saying temp is 38 when it is really 42. This fridge would have caused us to fail our health inspection if it wasn't just holding produce.

Does not keep temperature. Its set at 38.7, it goes all the way up to 46 sometimes before the compressor kicks on. The ambient room temperature is normally below 70 with plenty of room for ventilation. I called after a week and a week later, im still waiting to hear back from Webstaurantstore about the tech that they are supposed to schedule to come fix this.

Received this today, and its completely unusable. The compressor has to constantly run because the temperature goes from 38, to 44 within 5-10 minutes. The compressor is also making a ridiculously loud sound when running. Will be requesting a full refund in the morning. We would be better off with a residential fridge.

This fridge is wildly inconsistent and constantly needs upkeep and maintenance. It has massive temperature swings +30 degrees at any given moment. Typically I will have to remove everything from the fridge and unplug it for several hours or 24 hours. It has never lasted more than 4 to 5 days in a row working.

When we purchased this fridge in 2017 it worked fine, like you'd expect. Fast forward just a measly three years and the fridge leaked refrigerant. We spent $500 repairing that and now the compressor is out, which will cost another $500 in labor to replace. The compressor itself is covered under warranty, but a business should not have to spend this much money repairing a 3 year old refrigerator that cost about the same to purchase new. It is possible that this is a one-off, but based on our experience, we do NOT recommend this refrigerator

We just opened a new restaurant and wanted to put new equipment in the kitchen/deli and purchased the Avantco A-19R-HC Fridge. Unfortunately after only 7 months, it doesn't hold the temperature range of 33-40 degrees F.

After careful upkeep (good clearance from walls and other units, and monthly coil maintenance) in a temperature controlled commercial kitchen, this fridge failed after 15 months. It is now leaking refrigerant inside the system AND has busted evaporator coil. $500 for the parts I now need (to which I said to Avantco - NO THANKS!!) , and nearly $500.00 spent already in diagnostics. $300 to safely dispose of it now too. Nothing this expensive should fail after this amount of time. I will never buy Avantco again.

Purchase this online on 7/29/2019. It was delivered in August 2019. IT stopped cooling last week. The compressor is bad and company won't repair because they say it is out out warrant. How is it out of warranty when it has only been 12 months. I would give it negative stars if I could.

This product is absolutely horrible. The door has broken twice already and it’s not even a high value kitchen like that I have three other fridges the compressor as many have said above is an absolute failure. I’ve had the product for less than two years, and I was recently told that the warranty changed and they can’t do anything about it. Just have a local service person come in to fix it. Please do your due diligence and find a better product than this

Hasn’t worked from day one, glad I bought a warranty. We’ll see if it can be fixed.

Great unit. Worked well for quite some time and then had a problem. Webstaurant stood up and replaced the unit with a brand new one, no cost out of my pocket 2 years down the line. Unbelievable. Thank you so much.

7 months in and it works good, as long as I don't open frequently during the hot days it seems to keep up. Only issue is rust spots have shown up on the side.

Unloading was easy with our fork lift but you will need a lift gate and help if you don't have one. We found the factory set temperature to be to blow and raised it slightly which was easy to do.

its is very good product but there are few stuff which need to see before buy it. Wheels grip is not good even the wheel lock is ON, its make quite noise.

Stopped working within 3 months of purchase. Doesn’t keep cold. Fan system is not working. Please help replace it with a brand new one. Very disappointed. This was a costly purchase for our small business and we really need to replace or get fully refunded.

We just got them last week. So far so good. We kept the wheels on so we can easily clean under , but even when wheels are locked it moves when you try to open the door. This is our first commercial fridge so I am not sure if it is supposed to make swooshing/ gurgling noises once you close the door.

We have not had any issues with the refrigerator. We use it to store extra milks and breads, and have no issues! Lots of room and stays a consistent temperature.

We have a few of these. Some of the components need to be tightened over time as it will rattle when kicks on, but they are solid and worth the cheap cost. Warranty on compressor is great.

This was my first major purchase for my new business, and I've been happy so far. It was a bit of a pain to release it from the packaging. But I was able to plan for it given the other reviews that I read.

This cooler has worked great for us. The perfect size, my only complaint is the door can be hard to re-open if it closes and you need right back in there.

Awesome! Automatic temperature control and easy to clean. Just plug it in. Easy to move and operate. Save yourself money and buy this as this works as good as the more expensive ones. Highly recommend!!

Nice small standup refrigerator works as planned only issue we are having is the seal on the door it’s so tight but when you go to open the door the entire color moves even with the wheels like the light inside is Not very bright I do wish I would’ve got the one with the LED light inside other than that works as to be expected

I love Avantco! It holds temp, rolls out for easy cleaning up, and I have plenty of space for all my supplies for my little shop!

The Avantco Solid Door Reach In Refigerator is so fabulous! The look is industrial, and it looks great! I cannot believe the space in there! We can fit so many essential items in there, and it's easy to locate them and keep them organized! This was a great asset to us!

Super roomy reach in refrigerator. I love it and it keeps food really cold. I personally like to take the shelves out of it and replace them with the speed rack style shelving!

Nice, space saving design for our small food prep area. This fridge is VERY unstable. Our fridge leans away from the wall and tips forward when the door is pulled open.

i like the refrigerator. but it is very loud. if you have a small kitchen this will store everything you need. i also like the digital thermometer .

The epoxy shelves are really nice looking and easy to clean. I like the easy to read thermostat on the front and easy on off switch.

Easy to clean the inside. Outside is not as easy to clean. Digital temp is a nice feature. I wish it came with one more shelf.

Ordered this for a client, came in well packed and not dented. We had to wait to install as the remodel wasn't finished but wanted the equipment before we were finished in case something happened. Start up went great and the owner likes this product. Has been in use in a Classroom for close to a year now.

Great size! True to description. We like the fact that it has a lock system set in place. Runs efficiently! I have owned it for a few months.
