1 STAR TO MUCH. AFTER 1 YEAR AND 10 MONTHS COMPRESSOR STOPPED WORKING. WAS TOLD THAT WILL RECEIVE NEW ONE BUT I HAVE TO PAY $600 FOR LABOR TO REPLACE COMPRESSOR. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND IN GENERAL. CHINA MADE.

The freezer worked great for a couple months, however it didn't take long for the temp to not stay down, and it has reached a point of needing to buy a brand new freezer (it's been less than 2 years). Basically techs are saying it will be more cost efficient to buy a better freezer than to try and fix this hunk a junk. Nothing stays frozen in this anymore. And avantco barely offered any assistance in solving the solution.

I’ve been in business for about 37 years and as a restaurant owner we all dread the repair costs of Refrigiration and in most cases it’s more cost effective to buy new. This unit was working properly for about 3 months. It’s a piece of junk not even worthy of the landfill or wherever it will wind up. I’ve waisted more than $500 so far (not to mention wasted food and deserts) and It would be working long enough for the installed part to run out of warranty. Consider buying this unit if you like a money pit in your restaurant. I wish I could give it negative 5 stars.

Hate to have to write this because I loved the freezer. Unfortunately the compressor went you at 14 months after purchase. Thankfully I had purchased the extended warranty but I was quoted a lot to replace the compressor just in additional parts and labor even though the compressor was supposedly covered. I would have had to pay for my own coolant and a bunch of other stuff. I would recommend going to a big box store and buying a bigger residential freezer for less than half the price that more than likely will last long and if nothing else has parts you can buy for it.

I own the unit for 18 months, it stopped cooling/freezing. and I thought to myself how unfortunate that the freezer went bad on me 6 months after the warranty would cover. I bought the item new to last long and to avoid repairs. Purchased May 2020, stopped working Dec 2021.

Dead on arrival. Called the service company. Couple of day later, technician came and told me the compressor is bad. And, they don't have the compressor in stock. He doesn't know when they will have the compressor in stock. They will let me know when they will have it. I should have changed the compressor on my 10 year old freezer. It would have been cheaper and less headache. Stay away.

So far 7 months in and it works good, I'd say great, but if you stock it FULL of product It doesn't seem to freeze well, all product becomes soft, even thawed on very bottom shelf.

From the day it arrived it would douse all of the frozen foods with water during defrost mode destroying everything. Operations are really affected. Web restaurant says it’s a warranty repair. Bear in mind that when they say warranty repair that means someone will get to you in two weeks. Keep that in mind when you choose to go with an undependable brand like this

It is an affordable freezer, but would recommend buying a more expensive model that will potentially last. Webstaurant was great about sending someone out the first time the compressor went out, but since it has not gone into defrost mode. So once a month we have to manually defrost the freezer, which is a giant pain.

We just bought this freezer a couple weeks ago, working pretty good so far, the delivery was on time, really happy with the purchase. Good freezer.

This is a great freezer. For the price, you cannot beat it. We've been using it for almost a year now and have had no issues.

Awesome! Automatic temperature control and easy to clean. Just plug it in. Easy to move and operate. Save yourself money and buy this as this works as good as the more expensive ones. Highly recommend!!

Do not buy this product. My freezer went out Jan. 2024. Bought item December 2021. Never really used the freezer. One day we notice the temperature was over 100 degrees and it was very hot. I guess the compressor went out. We just unplugged it. A lot of money wasted for a product that was never put to use but was available if I needed it. Now I guess I will need to buy a new one.

Product worked for a year and a half, now it has a leak in the compressor . When checking to see if it was under warranty I was told no, you should have paid for a extended warranty. So if you do buy make sure you buy the extra warranty.

Very happy with the product, we were able to unload with a fork lift, and had it set up in an hour. Working great.

This is a high-quality and durable freezer. It's aesthetically-pleasing, high capacity, adjustable shelves and casters make it very flexible and versatile. It's perfect for large ice-cream cakes or many bags of ice for the extra freezer space you need. Very happy with the price and overall value.

Bought this freezer as extra storage in my market. So far, we have not encountered any problems. The inside capacity is quite nice, it can hold a good amount of cases/boxes. For the price point, overall I would say this has been a great purchase, would recommend.

Wow what a great product!! Huge steal of a price for the performance it does. We just built a new kitchen with this as a replacement from a similar brand item. It was easy to install, land ready to use. Cleaning is a cinch!!

This freezer got cold FAST! Brand new, plugged it in, and it was good to go in a half hour! We're in and out of it all the time and it gets right back down to 10° in minutes!

Not a good freezer! Only lasted about 1.5 years of actual use! Compressor went out, now it’s unusable without spending $ for new compressor (with labor)! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Not only lost money on the cost of the freezer but had to throw away a lot of food!!

love this freezer. easy to understand instruction manual. no problems staying at temperature. fits a large quantity of product. adjustable shelves and bright light on the interior.

We just opened a new restaurant and wanted to put new equipment in the kitchen/deli and purchased the Avantco A-19F-HC Freezer. Unfortunately after only 7 months, it doesn't hold the temperature range of -8 to -1 degrees F.

Went thru two units in three years. If you purchase order the longest extended warranty you can purchase.

I love my freezer or very good.

Great freezer for tight spaces. Caster help move it to where it needs to be. Money well spent.

Avantco A-19F-HC 29" Solid Door Reach-In Freezer _ its is very good product but there are few stuff which need to see before buy it. Wheels grip is not good even the wheel lock is ON, its make quite noise.

Great freezer. Only set back is that the vacuum seal it has when on pulls the fridge with you as the wheel locks are not strong enough to hold it when opening the door. Also, its not as deep as the matching fridge so sheet pans do not fit inside.

We just got them last week. So far so good. We kept the wheels on so we can easily clean under , but even when wheels are locked it moves when you try to open the door. This is our first commercial freezer so I am not sure if it is supposed to make swooshing/ gurgling noises once you close the door.

I also had a compressor fail around the two-year mark. Originally I was told it was a failed capacitor, but when he was unable to find that part, the company agreed to send a replacement compressor at no additional charge, which was nice. The problem, however, was that to install the new compressor, the service fee would have been high, and that's after the service call to examine the freezer. I'd pass on this freezer.

I really do like mine; it serves its purpose. However, I am on the struggle bus with the locks on the wheels. I cannot get them to stay in place.

This freezer has great temperature consistency, it is a good size as well! We can perfectly fit half sheet pans inside for our cookie freezing process.

So far, this freezer has worked well. Because of the suction, sometimes it's a little harder to open, but that means it's doing it's job. There are dark marks on the floor from the wheels because it's so hard to open sometimes.

Easy to clean, stays at temperature consistently. We load this full with 8 cases of fries. Each case is 6-5lb bags. Temperature remains freezing even with the high volume of opening and closing the door throughout the day.

This is a great freezer for the price! We have a small drive-thru coffee shop where we need to keep our bagels, and ice frozen. This doesn't take up too much room, and has enough space for everything we need.

Freezer was shipped in a timely manner. It was easy to unpack and set up. Its been working great for us. We just had to order some extra shelves.

Got a price from a local vendor before looking at this one. For the same freezer it was 400 more. Very large cooked quick. Keeps frozen and a must for any restaurant

This is a great freezer if you are limited on space like we are. Instead of constantly having to open the walk-in freezer, we are able to keep routinely used goods in this little freezer that requires far less energy and time to maintain its temp. it is quite spacious and on wheels if we ever need to move it.
