Beautiful piece! However, no handles to easily move to clean. And the trap to collect debris also has no handle so it's very hot to remove and dump in the middle of a busy service. The most troubling thing was the right side of the press stopped warming up after ONE WEEK of using it! Seriously! Very disappointing. Still waiting to hear about warranty information. I'd spend a little more money and get a better press if I were you.

Bought the double panini press 5/2020. It arrived dented with a full broken handle. They sent me a replacement handle only to learn how it was built you can’t replace pieces ??Now operating with a broken handle. Last month one whole side of the press got overwhelmingly hot and now burns everything.. even on the lowest possible temperature setting! Not even a year old.. I thought maybe I just had bad luck but after readin* the reviews, I will not be buying another advantco panini press!

Wow! what a piece of crap. less than 9 months old, two issues, had to fight the first time to get a replacement piece, then less than a month later lost a whole side. in under a year? I have just read the reviews, this is a major concern for most people. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this product. it is NOT commercial quality. I have pressed for help, and all I get is "sorry" and no, I am NOT buying any replacement pieces on equipment less than a year old. I have learnt my lesson. I am buying no more Equipment from them, in under a year, I have had to fix an ice-machine, a refrigerator and now lost this piece. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Well we were fortunate enough to make it 14 months before we lost a whole side of the grills. Maybe it should not be advertised as “commercial” if you have to buy a new one every year? Plug that side in and it trips the circuit every time, so obviously it would start a fire if it wasn’t for GFI. Very disappointing. Don’t buy!!!!

While this press worked for a couple months, it started sparking and smoking within 5 months of receiving. Spend the extra money and buy Waring or better.

Bought this panini maker March 28, 2023 After using occasionally one side went up in smoke. Other side still works. Not worth the money. I was expecting better results as I have many other avantco products in my kitchen. I basically purchased all my restaurants needs from Webstaurant.

Great concept with 2 stations for the panini grill. Unfortunately this product was too big for our Restaurant. We just didn’t have the space for it.

Build tough and long lasting

What a waste of money. Bought this exactly 8 months ago. 2 months ago one side stopped working. Today, the other side sparkled with smog

Like the product, works as needed. The only thing keeping this from being 5 Stars is the dented upper press, no way of knowing if and when this happened, doesn't affect it operation. More of an FYI.

I've purchased/had one replaced 3 or 4 times (I've lost track now). They're great bang for the buck... Until they're not. I've had some units last me a week, some close to a year. Up to you if you want to roll the dice on this. From what I hear, they're discontinuing, probably due to the slew of terrible reviews. Good luck!

Bought this grill about 2 years ago for my bakery/cafe that serves up panini's for lunch. This has kept on trucking along, allowing us to produce ~40-60 paninis per day.

The panini presses arrived two days after they were ordered. We are extremely satisfied with the product and the turn around time on shipping and receiving.

The best panini grill on the market. It is very reasonably priced for quality of this product. It is also very easy to clean up after each use!

Does the job, assuring your customer that their Panini was actually made on a Panini press (see toasty lines), and not thrown in the microwave (horror!). Also potentially useful for home invasion, should you need something heavy to throw at intruders...

this sandwich grill is so useful it toasted sandwichs so well and properly my kids loved this too. we use this so so much nowadays.

We have been using this model for almost 6 years now, during this time we have bought 5 or 6 of them, i would not recommend them if you business is a grilled sandwich shop, your going to end up replacing them every year.

I originally bought this grill 6 years ago and it worked great in my first cafe! It made sandwiches fast and we were able to grill 6 at a time. We never had any issues with it. I am opening a new cafe and just bought the same grill to use at this location as well! Recommend.

We use this grill every day to make paninis and other grilled sandwiches for breakfast. It works well and has held up well. We also purchased the Avantco P75SG grill with groved and smooth plates and that one works excellent as well!

We have two of these units for our sandwich shop. They get the job done pretty well. We have to oil the mechanism for the upper grill to be moved up and down as it becomes stiff over time. Other than that the unit has performed well. It has been in use for about 5 months now. We make primarily panini's with the unit.

You can not beat the value of these presses. Hundreds of dollars less than the competitors and works just as well if. It better than most of them.

This is a great panini press. Perfect for our just starting out food truck! It is heavy duty and much heavier than I anticipated. Solid Product

We bought this panini press for our cafe. it has worked great so far. we do have issues with the power switch, but a reset usually fixes it.

We bought this item in August and today it stopped working on one side. I cannot find any information about warranty or replacement. From what other reviewers say, this is the norm. I recommend buying something else

This is a great Panini press for the money. Our customer's are all very happy we added panini's to the menu and at this price makes it very easy to re-coop your start-up expenses.

Avantco P84 Double Grooved Commercial Panini Sandwich Grill is truly a great addition, It is fast and effective. This grill was a great addition to our kitchen. No regrets whatsoever.

Love this. We have used it for over a year. We do have to randomly tighten a screw in the back that holds the top of the panini machine. This is not a big deal for us.

We love the texture this gives to our sandwiches once they’ve been pressed. The size is nice, allowing you to press two sandwiches at one time.

Makes perfectly pressed sandwiches and grilled vegetables. I even grill mini burgers on my panini press. It fits almost any counter top. It was definitely a great purchase.

Love this Panini sandwich maker. Makes the perfect panini. We get evenly cooked and professional looking sandwiches every time. The press gives the right amount of weight on the sandwich too.

I use this hundreds of times a day in my deli! I love it! It works great! I have not had problems with it. I would recommend this is you are needing a lot of items on the grill

This panini press works well, the tops are a bit smaller then I had anticipated, so i can not do big quesadillas on this press. My only issue is the fact that it arrived with a very large dent in the back of it. I haven't had a chance to take pictures and send them to you yet, because I need to use it for 2 big events I was doing. (Pictures will be sent in a few days) but they do heat well. Cleaning isn't the easiest either.

So far, so good. Season the plates and you shouldn't have any sticking problems. The removable tray makes cleanup easy. Hope it lasts us a while.

This grill does a great job on Panini sandwiches, and my customers love them. This also does a great job on grilling pork steaks done in 4 minutes.

Sturdy and cheap! I ask price from a company that i buy some equipment before i find this website and they are double the price!! I worked with this same model in another restaurant and for how much i loved this thing i buy another one for my own

Avantco makes great equipment. This is our 2nd panini press. We out grew the first one which was a large solid one. The 2 press systems allows you to not interrupt a sandwich being grill while needing to add another one the press.

This is a nice looking Panini Grill. IT worked great for about a year then the heat element stopped working right and it burnt the bread on one side. it was of course right after the warranty expired. probably would not buy again.

This Panini grill is great! It is easy to clean and makes great paninis but is also big enough to make quesadillas which is a big plus!
