Very poorly made mixer. I dealt with the fact that the attachments don't connect with the mixer. I dealt with the fact while making bread crumbs the attachment swung back and almost broke my arm(had to hold attachment in place because it doesn't lock in place). I bought this October 4th in 2023 and wouldn't't you know it 1 month at 3 weeks later the machine seized up. Spend the extra money and do it right the first time.

We have had this mixer 2 weeks. We have only used it for shredding cheese. The mixer parts were never used. Today the cheese shredder attachment seized. It appears to have damaged the actual mixer itself, a crack. For such minimal usage on a very soft product, I am astonished. Will contact Webstaurant about this and keep this review updated.

Broke after two weeks of use. Save your money, and buy a better brand.

Questionable quality. Do not recommend using at high speeds. Makes a clicking sound when I'm trying to make batches of dough.

Not worth the money. No only is the shredder attachment peeling off paint but the front housing hole was not aligned properly and we could use it for several weeks. I tried to trouble shoot with customer service but it felt like more trouble than what it was worth. Several photos and then they wanted video. Like what will the video prove? What happened to taking the customer word?? I get that it's a heavy piece of equipment, but at very least, they could've made it write. The front housing around also had scratch marks and seem that putty or paint was used to cover up, so I'm inclined to think that this mixer was used before or was damaged.Overall, I recommend spending the money for a better quality equipment.

This mixer is not suitable for mixing cookies, unless you're okay with mixing only 10lbs of cookie dough at a time (yes, that's how much they told me was safe to use with cookie dough). When I first received my mixer, there was a LOUD clanging sound that was coming from the paddle hitting the side of one of my bowls (this only happened with one of the two bowls I have). I thought the bowl was defective, so Webstaurant sent me a replacement bowl. When it arrived, it did the same thing as the last. VERY loud clanging noise from the paddle hitting the sides of the bowl. It was hitting it so hard in fact, the locking mechanism on the sides of the bowl slowly became unlocked the longer it mixed from the bowl shifting around. You get what you pay for. I wanted to avoid a high price Hobart, and as a startup bakery that doesn't do a ton of heavy duty mixing, we opted for this mixer based on all the good reviews. First, when I received it I noticed how much flimsier both the bowl and paddles are compared to a Hobart. Ok, I figured that's not ideal, but I could live with it. But now, after 10 mos of very light use (< 1 shift/wk in a commissary kitchen), the gear head is leaking oil down into the bowl...just, ewww. I would stay away from this mixer.

Mixer gave out on us after literally 6 uses. I do not recommend this mixer. Looking to contact warranty department. Operation is on hold currently.

The first time I used this machine it was falling apart I am in the baking industry for over 40 years and this the worst mixer I have used.

This is for very very large kitchen. Not for small or medium size establishments. You will be going too big. This is like for a college or establishment serving 1000 people

Happy with it so far! This is my first piece of really industrial equipment for my soap business (specifically, for making body whip in quantities greater than five pots at a time), and holy smokes! It's a workhorse, I knew it would be, but what surprised me was how *quiet* the motor is, compared to my little KitchenAid. I love that there are only three speeds: whisk, hook, and paddle - no question for what to use and when to use it. I adore all the manual bits and bobs, the hooks to secure the bowl, the wheel to raise and lower the bowl, the lever to adjust settings, and the green for go, red for stop buttons. I upgraded my KA three times, and then purchased a Bosch for my cottage bakery. When I opened my commercial space, I bought the MX20 and should have purchased it to begin with. This mixer is a beast. I have no complaints whatsoever. The bowls is a great size. I have used it for cookie doughs, frostings, and bread doughs. It handles them all with ease. I would like to note that I was a little concerned on the weight when I ordered it. Definitely pay for the liftgate service if you do not have a forklift on site. It was heavy, but not too heavy that my Dad and I couldn't lift it to put it on the stand. I purchased the 24" stand, item #600MT2424G, which fits it nicely. It is a solid investment that I have thoroughly enjoyed.

We purchased two of these mixers when building out our second bakery location. I do not recommend purchasing these! Throughout the last year and a half the insides have completely fallen apart, and the mechanism to raise and lower the bowl seems to have finally stripped making it unusable. For the price, I would’ve expected them to last a bit longer. We don’t even use them every day—I would say 2-3 days per week, and not full days of use. We have fixed a few things along the way, needing to open it up and rig something up or find little screws that came out and fell down inside. I’ll try buying some new parts to install and see if we can get them working again—but they’ve been a headache and far too sensitive to be worth it! I wish I would’ve either bought something more reliable or sourced a better quality used mixer. Live and learn! The one plus side is the bowls are lighter than other 20qt mixing bowls I’ve worked with, so they’re easy to lift when full.

I would have given this a 5 star but the bowl had a dent when it was delivered. I did not notice this until I actually used it and cleaned the bowl. Although, it did not take away from what the end results. I did a merengue and it was exceptionally done, it came out like cream. The noise level was very low! I love this machine, it is the perfect size, although it is heavy but it was worth the investment.

Bought this mixer 5 years ago. It is used weekly to make our sweet roll dough and frosting. Also large batches of cookie dough. Works like a champ every time.

Only reason not a four star rating was that the first one died on a few weeks. Customer service sent a replacement and it had been running nonstop since.

Just what I expected, great mixer for cookie dough, pizza dough and my sourdough bread, the size is perfect for a limited space, so helpful..!

This mixer is ok. Not great. It’s lasted me 1.5 years and has to be replaced. I have purchased a 20 year old refurbished Hobart for the same price and already I’m a million times happier. The last month we’ve been concerned every time I have to mix a dough, and it wouldn’t go past first speed. Save your time, buy a better brand.

We love using this mixer to make all our sauces and mac and cheese. It is a great addition to our kitchen and allows us to concoct great sauces.

Great mixer for pie crust! We use the mixer for many things but have found it’s easy for use to make our pie crust in this mixer. It does a great job mixing heavy butter and flour.

I should have gotten two of these. We had predominantly been using 8 oz. kitchen aids. We have been able to increase our efficiency and spend more time focusing on our business.

This is a very cheap mixer, I would give it a lesser rating but compared to the price of the competitions, I feel like I should give it an extra star. I would not use this mixer for anything high volume. We use it to mix cookies once a day and also meatloaf and veggie burgers once a week. Anything more then that and I think it would burn up fast.

This is a good value buy mixer. It works great for cake batters, buttercream, brownies, etc. My only wish is that the guard wasn't there, as it makes streaming liquids / eggs / etc. in very difficult. Also, the back guard is pretty sharp at the edges, so it makes scraping the sides of the bowl down hard when you keep bumping it.

What a great find and price!! The motor is pretty solid and it takes 2 people to move this little guy. it whips up whip cream with easy and makes amazing mashed potatoes.

This mixer is heavy duty! Its capacity allows us to make dough for many of our food items in large batches. We had previously had a 6 quart mixer and are now saving so much prep time using this mixer.

Using the mixer for soap products, not issues so far, but mixer is loud. Arrived inside a wood crate; if this is going upstairs, definitely a two man job.

Ive had this for three months and love it! I have a big family and it was taking me hours to get bread done, mixing by hand. Wish I had invested in one sooner. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Very sturdy. My seven year old is now starting to mix his own cookie dough and gets to use this. It has safety features so that he will get hurt which I love. Best tool in my kitchen.

This brand is the worst brand in the world! Bought refrigerators, freezers, mixers, .. for our bakery. All equipment broke down within 2 years. They might be cheap in the beginning, but will cost you an arm and a leg to fix, already after a year of use. BE WARNED, DON'T BUY THIS BRAND !!!!

A good mixer for light use. We don't have heavy doughs or mixes, so works well for us. Buttercream icing and cakes--that's all we need it for and it does the job. Fits the standard size bowls and attachments I had on my last mixer.

I LOVE this mixer. It is heavy and a tad awkward to pull out and put back into under counter cabinet but since I don't use the mixer every day I deal with it. If you are like me and hate countertop clutter, leaving it out isn't an option. If you are not able to lift more than a couple pounds and do not have someone to help you, this may not be a good option. For those who make their own bread or bake a lot - this model is an excellent choice.

This mixer has been a great addition to my kitchen. It was delivered in a wooden box and handled very well. It is mounted up on a table and is very sturdy. It is well lubricated and has made very good dough for me.

Having a startup cafe, we needed all equipment for our cafe. This worked as expected but it's a little bulky for the bowl qt size. It does move around alot when in use.

Words can't express how much we love this beater! We are a growing company and make lots of products. This machine is constantly being used and has never given us any difficulty. It's extremely easy to use. Beaters well. Super reliable.

This mixer is okay. It works, but at the same time for how much I spent it has nothing but problems. The gears will get stuck and not go from speed to the next. Causing my mixing to go slowly or for my quality of food to lower. I will be needing to contact web.com/ avantaco to get it fixed under warranty.

we use this mixer mainly to mix a heavy sausage mix for breakfast sausage and it holds up quite well even though its a mix thats pretty thick and some mixers can't handle it.

This mixer is amazing.!! Came very safe with the wooden box.. excellent materials and I can't wait to use it!!! Thank you very much for the excellent product!
