We bought 2 of these for our sandwich shop for doing our fries. It keeps up when we are doing a lot of them, is pretty easy to clean and doesn't require the fire suppression hood. The price on them was great also.

Product works well when it works, but temperature seems to be significantly lower than the thermostat setting. Fry basket has started to rust and I've only had the product for 4 months with light use. Won't stand behind product in any way since i am a residential user, therefore no warranty.

Excellent fryer. My first buy was almost two years ago and its still frying like its new! I currently have two now and they’re perfect for my small kitchen.

This business is a joke this fryer sucks the last one I bought had an on off switch this one you constantly have to unplug and plug in also make sure you use it for business use only or the warrantee is obsolete they won’t fix anything I cook for all of our workers at the farm and they won’t warrantee it they say I’m not a business let’s think about this!!!?? Never again!!

I have used this fryer about 10 times and it has already stopped working. And I have an upcoming Catering event. I am beyond pissed!

I really wanted to like this product. It is the second one I have gotten from this company. Both of them stopped working after a few uses. I wanted to give it no stars.

Worst deep fryer I have ever used. Takes over an hour to heat up. Can cook 1 batch of something then have to wait another half hour to heat up again. Only a 30 day warranty from date of purchase which does not help since it took 3 weeks to get.

I was tired of using a fry daddy and needed an electric fryer and wanted one with a basket so that grease can be used more times. This is the perfect size and so portable to take camping or to a relatives house for fish fry.

This a light duty fryer! Set your expectations accordingly. Best for occasional use of small batches and nothing more. Smaller batches of 1/4 cut frys and similar product fry well, but if you get close to the limits the temperature will drop too much after product is added and you'll have mixed results. Edges are sharp, but with some common sense can be easily avoided. Cleaning is amazing.. the entire basin (which appears to be a steam pan?) is removable for cleaning. As with most Avantco products, there's a parts list and prices are reasonable. I haven't had any issues, but it's nice to see parts available for replacement at a reasonable cost.

We use this everyday for making catering meals for our customers. It is portable and large enough to fry the serverings we need. We are very happy with the purchase. Our chef recommended this.

This 208/240v electric fryer takes 14 minutes to heat up from cold oil to 350 degree oil. Not 8 minutes as other rating says. Perfect for frying snacks such as fries, egg rolls, tater tots, etc. The tank is a little small for me for two chicken orders frying together.

This fryer really did the job for a small amount of frying we needed to perform as a garnish for a party. Great value. Unable to fry large quantities, however does the job if you're needing small quantities. Easy clean-up!

This is a basic countertop electric fryer that uses a standard 120v outlet. Fit our needs perfectly for frying diced potatoes for breakfast bowls and burritos. While it seems to perform well for our needs, I can see how the size and recovery time could be inadequate for larger volume operations. One thing to note is that the protective plastic coating is difficult to remove, like seriously a pain.

This is a great fryer for a kitchen that fries minimally. It's small size makes it easy to move from place to place and to store as well. It is the perfect size fryer for us.

Works as it should Keeps temp and is of good quality. Easy to clean and is safe. Will buy again if we build another truck.

So far like this unit. Small upgrade from what i had. it still takes time to heat up but is easy to clean and does its job.

This countertop fryer is great as a backup fryer in our commercial kitchen. It holds a large quantity and is easy to plug in and use right away.

Extremely pleased with this fryer, we use it every Saturday to fry Beignets and it works wonders. Takes less than 30 minutes to heat up and maintains heat after hours of frying.

When i purchased this - i thought that this unit would last me more than a year. As you can see from the picture - buyer beware. Electrical cord is very loose and with usage it comes off. Webrestaurant reply was to purchase a replacement electrical cord and hire and electrician for that. It would cost me more than to buy another unit. And it hasnt even been a year on them. Also the handles crack with usage and you are left Macgyvering a fix situation. They said they would replace the handle but lets see. I guess for the price - its ok - but i wouldnt buy it again .

This is an excellent fryer we bought it to use in our house, it is a really perfect size for the space we had, we found that it works perfectly the temperature when fried when used has given us a delicious dinner of fish with French fries, coconut shrimp fried, some plantains slices, fried empanadas, other delicacies. Really deep fryer to place in countertop is unique and recommended to be used at all times that you want some fried and delicious food.

I read a lot before I buy something that I want to last for a long time. Reviews are always hit and miss, but I like the ones that really tell what it is like using the product and that speak to some important attributes about the product. I bought this one over other options because of its "full coverage" heating element. Most have a small element on one side, but this one covers the bottom of the pan. I didn't see any complaints about this one not maintaining a temp, and this is why. Takes it a while to get hot, but they all take a while to get hot, but once there, I can fry basket after basket of stuff with no problems. Defiantly worth it..Amazing product..great for foodtruck or restaurant..safer then using propane or gas especially in a foodtruck if you have the power..gets to 350 in 8 minutes..easy to clean and recover is amazing.. needed a fryer just for fries work amazing

Where has this fryer been my whole life? Ok I have never used a fryer before so I can't compare them with any other fryer--but all I can say is that using this is WAY better than frying on top of our electric stove top with a pot of oil! I love how quickly everything cooks and how easy it is to take a part and clean. I am really happy we bought this.

Very happy with this. Bought for home use. Small enough to keep on the countertop when not in use. I was always the fat kid who dreamed of having a real fryer, but people would have laughed at me (and my parents would never get one). Also, in recent years the trend was to have an air fryer, but nothing comes close to the real thing. Now that I am older, I try to eat more healthy, but when I don't I love this fryer. Tiny but mighty- I bought this for our church coffee shop and we have made several snack items with this. I love that it all separates and comes apart for thorough cleaning. Heats fast and is ready to use in minutes. This has changed our French fry game for sure!!!!
