Not water tight with lid that I can find. Fits too loosely and is not safe for liquids nor will it keep other food fresh if that much air can get in/escape.

This is not our favorite, but it does the job and at a great price point. Lids are somewhat difficult to latch and remove, but they do seal properly. Definitely sturdy enough!

Its worth noting - and I just discovered this in another review - these are not air or water tight. I bought these to store things in the pantry air tight to be preserved. This isn't going to do the job. Quite a surprise and a disappointment. I bought the whole set. I did like they were BPA free but without a satisfying seal they are just storing loose items - not for me. I tried a layer of plastic wrap and it helped slightly but still leaks so its a no go for me.

It is a sturdy storage container. However the lid doesn't fit well on it. If only the lid fit well then it would be perfect.

container is well built and stacks nicely, but i don't like the way it doesnt form an air or water tight seal with the "choice" brand lids.

You must be gentle with these. They crack and break easily when empty and dropped from about knee height. These were the larger 22qt. containers. You'd think being made from Poly type plastics they would withstand some sort of kitchen abuse. But now they just hold our rags.

These are great containers and work for why I bought them. However, the Choice lids do not fit so I bought a different brand (Cambro) and the painted numbers do not represent the correct volume!!! (The embossed numbers on the opposite side of the painted ones are better.) The volume thing really frustrates me because I actually use those numbers to calculate my inventory. Ugh.

These containers are very sturdy and very spacious. I store flour in them; each fits half a standard 50lb bag of flour. I find them very convenient.

These containers are great for both hot and cold foods. I really appreciate that they do not stain ( even with tomato sauces) or hold an odor ( such as onions). They stack well upside down for storage and are easy to separate.

These are a nice size to use for prepping small amounts of food products. They don't seem to retain any smell either from the product that was in them before. I've used them for onions and couldn't tell afterwards.

These smaller 2QT storage containers are great for storing smaller amounts of products. The marking on the side make it easy to know how much you have in the container and the number remain for a long time after many washings.

I use these containers to hold powdered frappe mixes on my food truck. The size is great, & the containers themselves are super-good quality. Totally recommend.

Great quality and price. Super sturdy and easy to stack. Work great in our bakery for storage and mixing dough. The lids snap closed and feel secure. Easy to wash. Overall very happy with them.

This is a great container. It is big and sturdy and they are great for stacking. I use this to store a 7lb bag of powdered sugar and it fits perfectly.

The containers on these are OK - I like the handles (although they take up space in the refrigerator), but the lids that are compatible with Choice brands are awful. I would spend couple or few more dollars to get products that are useful and efficient in the kitchen instead, especially since these containers can last you years. The white lids that go with these containers are hard to take off, and where you're supposed to lift the corner only works if you peel from the diagonally opposite end of the lid. Doesn't make sense.

great product for dry storage, wouldn't use for liquids or sauces since the do not close super thigh. still great for storage since they stack on top of each other.

Strong material that doesn't crack easily! The container is accurate to the sizing description, and hold well with the lid on. Would suggest this item to others.

I use multiples of these containers for storing dry ingredients such as various flours, rice or panko. They fit on our wire shelves with no wasted space and are stackable.

The Choice 12 QT Food Storage Container is the right container to either store food or to measure bulk ingredients. I have ordered this before.

I really don't mind that it isn't translucent. It's perfect for sugar and flour that I often go through in days that I don't necessarily need to check the level of. Great affordable pick!

These are great! The translucent ones have been much more hardy than the clear ones have been for us. The clear ones have easily cracked but these have held up very nicely.

We use these containers for mixing as well as for storage. We love the gradations as they allow us to discern exactly how much product is left in the container. The translucent quality allows us to see at the glance what food product is in the container.

We use these buckets to store roasted coffee, and they're perfect! Nice and sturdy, and the lid goes on smoothly but does not feel loose. A great choice for storing just about anything!

I use these containers for my smaller amounts of dry goods including sugar, rice, quinoa, brown sugar, and almond flour. They provide air tight and water tight storage. The containers seem durable for daily work around the kitchen. They have the same attributes of containers that cost at least twice as much. These are also great for sous vide single or small courses when you don't need a large water bath. Very easy to move around to where you need them. Also very easy to wash with soap and warm water.

I highly recommend these containers! I store my flour, sugar, and a lot of my other dry ingredients in them. I can easily see my flour etc in the containers and if I am running low on it! The lids also fit great on these. I need to buy more!

really good quality and it is able to hold 4 qt maybe a little bit more besides de container it is really easy to wash.

Perfect size and shape for easy storage. The translucent container makes it easy to view the container's contents. The marked levels are accurate, however the markings do easily come off even with handwashing. We use these so much, we don't really need the size markers (we just eyeball it). The plastic does hold on to strong odors, so extra sanitizing is needed. Still the best value for a sturdy storage container.

These polypropylene food storage containers have held out so far. We use them to store dry and wet ingredients. I noticed either or does not make a difference and holds the content perfectly.
