Too stiff and bulky for me. I'm in my 60s and bought it for home use. Maybe better for younger folks in a commercial kitchen.

Got 5 years of heavy use before being retired, which is pretty good for an oven mitt in my house. Much more durable than the all rubber versions from the same company. I don't usually buy oven mitts for commercial kitchens since everyone just uses a rag anyway, but when I do, it's usually this style, and San Jamar ones have, in my experience, lasted longer than most brands.

Staff loves this style. Holds up better than other mitts we have purchased over the years. Will definitely be buying again when we wear this one out.

These oven mits are great, they are perfect for getting items out of our 500* oven the heat does not go through the glove , the rubber gives you an extra layer of security

This is the best oven mitt I've found (and I've purchased several others that failed). The length is great and the heat resistance keeps us protected with most any need. I'll definitely be purchasing more.

This oven mitt is great! It is rated for up to 500 degrees which in our kitchen works great! Even if you don't cook up to heats this high, I would still recommend getting a mitt that is rated high like this because it will ensure that you never feel any heat while using it.

This is a great oven mitt. It claims it is rated at 500 degrees for 60 seconds and, at least while still new, it definitely maintains this. It has great reach and will protect the user from hot oven temperatures as well as hot pans.

This Oven mitten is light weight but super protective when touching hot food at our business. The rubber is very strong and durable. Highly recommend!

San Jamar 810CM17 17" Best Grip Oven Mitt - Conventional Style is a solid oven mitt from a good brand. The price works for us.

Solid oven mit for home use. The rubber grip is great so hot pans don't slip out of your hands when you don't have a perfect grip on them. I've even left it on a hot stove burner for 20 seconds (on accident!) and it didn't burn thru or leave much of a mark at all. They only drawback is that they are thick which can make picking up small items or pans with small handles a bit tougher, but not much you can do if you want to use at high temps.

These oven mitts worked for about 3 months. The first detail that failed was the fabric loop that we used to hang them. But that was ok because the tag on the end also has a magnet which we used to hang them from our stainless steel tables. But then the rubber material started to erode at the wear points (thumb, index finger) and soon our bakers were burning their fingers through the mitts. We keep them around because now they are useful for placing under sheet pans of french macarons to soften the sound of banging the pans against our work benches.

Great coverage and excellent heat resistance/insulation. We've bought a bunch of these, and they have proven to be very durable. For items that have edges that are difficult to grip, we might still default to kitchen towels as these gloves are really thick and it can be hard to grasp smaller items (for example, small ramekins).

Well after going through tons of cheaper oven mitts, I finally bought these and so far, so good. It's been about a month and they haven't worn out or burnt anyone. The magnets are a little annoying sometimes because they're not really strong enough to hang them by.

even though these wear out within a couple months of use they last longer than most of the other ones that we have tried and don't burn your hands when handling hot things.

best oven mitts i have ever bought from webstaurant store. yes they cost a little more but the quality is much better and they have a magnet which sticks to the oven which is great. i would definitely recommend for commercial kitchens and even house mitts.

I’m truly amazed at how long these have lasted me. They hang up w a magnet or a hang string. I can’t complain. Probably the best gloves I’ve had in my back kitchen ever.

These mitts are perfect for use when handling hot baking items. They have a small magnet that allow them to be hung wherever needed, With daily heavy use you can expect them to last a year or more which is good compared to others we have tried.

We use these oven mitts everyday, and it takes several months for the cotton in the finger areas to wear down and get displaced. We highly recommend them for heavy baking. They are long enough to help protect forearms too!

We used these mitts to remove hot racks from our smoker and to handle hot sheet pans. At first they worked great but the neoprene coating at the end wore out after a few months.

We are constantly going in and out of hot ovens and these oven mitts are so great! You can hold onto a hot pan for quite a while before it gets too hot, most oven mitts only protect you for a couple seconds. These are also very grippy so we don't risk dropping pans on the floor. Highly recommend!

These are the Best oven MIT i have ever used! I purchased (#167POM17, #167UCM15BK ) and wasted my money, they both fell apart and did not provide good heat protection. I was so happy when i got these and they have held up for almost a year.

The best grip oven mitt is great for handling anything hot and that needs a good drip. with the rubber end it does not get as dirty on messy jobs.

We often wait about 1 month or 2 months before writing a review, we have had two pair of these gloves for daily use and they performed excellently. They were very comfortable and the magnet on the tag was crucial in our small commercial kitchen. However, after only 2.5 months of use the magnet fell out and the fold between the thumb and fingers wore down to expose the skin of the chefs. I would give this product less stars if it hadn't been amazing while it was intact, but the 3 stars is as high as i can go considering that two pairs did not last 3 months.

We needed a heavy duty but easy to use oven mitt. The one is great especially since it has a magnet to hang off the stove since we didn't have a good place to store it. The padding is very thick to keep you protected and yet its easy to control for gripping with a lot of flexibility. The magnet is strong enough to hold up in a vertical position. However if you hang it on a stove door, as u open the door and the mitt hangs away from the door, it might fall off so we prefer to hang it on the range hood instead which works perfectly.

A little bulky but they offer good heat protection. They also offer good forearm coverage. The rubber part smells a bit when you grab hot pans, so I'm afraid it may melt at very high temperatures, but so far these are great.

Very nice gloves. They are very heat resistant and hold up very well. They do not burn or wear through like some we have had. Just be careful with the length, these are a little short if you are reaching into a deep oven.

These are great heavy duty oven mitts. The rubber on the top grips pans and prevents slipping. They also wash up very well in the washing machine. Would buy again.
