We purchased this scale in Oct 2013. We use it weekly at various farmers markets and festivals. Our state scale inspector tests it every year and it has always passed with flying colors. It has never needed an adjustment. I was just tested again on June 14, 2018 and passed easily. (I will post a photo of the testing.) For the last 5 years, we have carried this scale all over the place in the back of our truck and it still works great. The only thing I've ever had to do was replace the battery after the 4th year, and that was super simple. I run a farmers market and have been so pleased with this scale that I have recommended Tor Rey scales to several vendors. All have been very happy with their scales as I am. This is a good value and worth every penny.

This is our favorite scale - reliable, easy to use, and holds a charge for a long time. Only drawback is you are limited to weighing in pounds, no option for kilos.

The included charger failed after one year of use. The replacement chargers listed on this site are not compatible with the scale, sadly. It's a great scale while the battery power and charger works.

We ordered two of these. After just a few months the tare feature didn't work properly on either one. We have to take the item off, hit the zero button and then tare button to reset. Now having problem with one unit not charging at all. Will need to be replaced. I would not recommend this model or brand.

We deliberated at length over the right scale to purchase and then chose the Tor Rey L-PC 40 lb Digital Price Computing Scale. We use it all day, six days a week, to weigh produce. It sits next to our POS system. We have had it since June and it works perfectly. We have had no issues at all. We love its simplicity and the price was good at Webstaurant compared with other sites.

This product has battery issues. It worked well then stopped charging the battery. The unit apparently cannot run on just AC alone

The scale provides all we need at our farmers market. The readout is very visible and functionality when working is good. This is our third scale of this model. The other two have died. One lasted about a year, one about five years. This one is on it's second year. We've tried to repair the others with mixed results. Sometimes we get a few more months out of them, other times they cannot be fixed. Fingers crossed this is a good one.

Great Scale! We use this weekly at the farmer's market and the charge lasts several weeks. Easy to use, not too bulky, durable and does well with hauling to and from places often.

Terrible product defective right out of the box. The worst part is Webstauant won’t take it as a return it has to be returned the manufacturer. Good luck getting them to answer the phone I’ve been trying for days. Do not buy this product unless you have a lot of time to waste.

Functionally everything we needed for Farmers' Market stand. Great display for both operator AND customer. Bright enough to be read in strong daylight. Pleasantly sturdy. Works for several hours on battery power.

My husband uses it to weigh smoked pulled pork and brisket. We have also used it to weigh the burger patties. Perfect addition to your home or small business.

This scale is just Perfect Great Display easy to read and on both sides. Light weight makes it easy to carry and can run on battery makes it great for farmers markets.

I use this scale entirely for charcuterie and cheese portioning and it has served me well. The weight plate is large enough to accommodate different sized items from salami to large slices of prosciutto. ????

this scale has held up well over time. we use this daily to measure ingredients for salads and taco bars. this is very easy to clean

First I would like to say how grateful I am to have a place to find what I need without having to search the whole world wide web. We needed a scale to help with portion control on the food trailer but we did not have a lot of space with the large list we were able to find the product that best suited our needs . We have only had this unit a couple weeks but it has already paid for itself.

I have a produce booth at a farmers' market and just had a regular scale. So it took quite some time to calculate each items weight and price. That's why i bought this scale. Read the reviews and decided it was the one for me. Had the options and the PRICE! I've used it for 2 weeks now and it sure has sped things up. Now i get to interact more with my customers instead of trying to figure out prices. Very easy to program. Only down side is the instructions are written tiny and low res. Tough to read that way.

Our Tor Rey computing scale gets a lot of use in our restaurant. We use this to weigh and price meat and it is accurate every time.

Small scale. It has a power saving mode built in so even once it's turned on we have to hit on before we can weight something. Slows us down when we are busy.

GREAT PRODUCT! We use this scale to weigh out foods by-the-pound in our salad shop. A lot of useful settings and the perfect size for our counter!

never worked properly, it stopped working a week after we got it, never measure the correct amount. i might have been unlucky, but it didnt seem great quality.

We bought this 4 years ago when we opened and so far so good. The battery doesn't last very long, but we just leave it plugged in. It's tested fine with the local weights and measures every year.

The scale is good but I am not really happy with that. The calibration it’s even change after every use. U gave to press on/off button to get 0.00 for every item u put on scale.

My only complaint is the power cord insert is in an awkward spot, and the control buttons aren't very intuitive (I have to keep referring to the instructions to switch tasks/operations)

I already own one of these, but needed another. I think its the best legal for trade scale you can buy for the money. I use it everyday and the battery will last a long time before needing to be recharged. Also storing the prices is handy so I don't have to do math.

We use this product for weighing coffees. it works very well. no problems at all. if you are debating about what scales to buy, we haven't had issues at all.

This product was exactly what we needed to weigh fruits for our Pick-Your-Own operation! It was easy to set up and the option for use with an electrical outlet or the backup battery made it ideal for moving to remote locations if needed.

I do not recommend buying this scale, to begin with the scale is not clear to the units as in the pictures it shows kilograms but the unit only shows pounds, the information is to that matter very confusing and led us to mistakes like ours. Secondly, this scale didnt even last 3 months and is no longer working. Do not buy this machine, waste of time and money. At least we feel cheated. And we had never had anything like this buying in this website.

Easy to read numbers on the front of the scale. Also, the two sources of power, battery or 12v plug, are a great choice when working out in the field.

In our facility we also have a little Café' We serve a hot meal plus we have a salad bar daily. We use the scale to weigh out the items they purchase from the salad bar. This works perfectly for this situation. It keeps everyone's salad on the same price basis. We have also used it for a Nacho platter.

I would have loved that this scale weighs kg too, anyway it works really good, it is very precise. Needs to be plugged, no batteries.

This digital pricing scale is pretty awesome. I run a bbq food truck and I use it a lot to weigh all of my bbq. It comes with a battery which helps when an outlet is not handy.
