Much prefer the smooth nail part to the ones that have the ridges on them. We use these as center cores for baking with larger cake pans.

This nail is sturdy and good quality. The price is unmatched. However, the nail it not 'flat" it has a dip in the middle and curved edges. This will not work for heat induction in the center of a cake without leaving and dent but it is great for buttercream flowers.

I used this for the first time to make royal icing rises and was so please with the ease of it. The size is perfect for small to medium size flowers and the base sits perfectly flat. The stem is long enough to hold but not too long to be awkward and it washes up well too. I will order multiple of these in the future to make a lot of roses at once!

We have several Ateco icing tools and they all work beautifully. These flower nails are a great base to build all sorts of gorgeous flowers.

I am a baker and I have used this as a multi-purpose tool! It is a flower nail and I have also used it as a cake core! It works better than most cores as it does not remove too much of the center of the cake but still provides the heat needed for evenly baked cakes!! Overall I LOVE this nail and it is the perfect height for a 3 inch cake.

This works for me! Sturdy and good price. Cheapest price I've seen anywhere including the big restaurant store we have in town. Nothing to it but a flat round plate on top of a steel stick. Great for making and or practicing your roses.

A good solid rose nail. Its a good manageable size for beginners and it doesn't break in half like some other ones out there. Cant beat the price either.

If you are piping roses, you will need these. Theya re also great for a heating core when you are in a pinch and can't find any.
