I love this brush. I actually didn’t want it when I first ordered it, but the pastry brush I wanted was out of stock. I am so glad I got this instead! I recommend it to anyone who is an avid Baker. The rounded wide bristles make brushing the top of loaves with butter, milk, or egg whites incredibly easy. No puddling, no missed spots, and it is quick!

Good value overall on these. We had some bristles fall out with initial usage but seem to be holding up nicely since. Would purchase again.

As an amateur artiste like myself, I am no stranger to quality brushing accoutrements. I really like the width of the brush, it covers a wide area. The bristles are strong yet gentle, like Van Gogh's vibrant strokes in starry night. I use this brush to clean my grills after wiping them down thoroughly to get all the nooks and crannies all cleanie weenie. They clean very easy as well and extremely easy to use. Just pick up and go!! My favorite about my job is making sure I have 4 paint brushes in the shop at all times. Everything after that is pretty secondary. This christmas I hope for four more paintbrushes. Very good product I would highly recommend for anyone else in this industry or if you like painting like moi. My only annoyance is that these brushes shed more than my ragdoll cat in the middle of an august heat wave. I mean these bristles get everywhere, it's almost like a defense mechanism for the brushes to excoriate all their hairs all over my precious little shop.

The pastry brush is perfect to glaze my fruit tarts. The handle is also very sturdy. Also, none of the bristles have fallen out. Great brush!

This is a solid brush, doesn't break apart easily and is a good bang for your buck item! Our bakers like it, so we will be buying it again.

i like the long bristles of this particular Ateco pastry brush. I found that some of the bristles did fall off from time to time.

This brush is amazingly versatile and easy to clean. The bristles also stay put with very little stray hairs coming out. I would also recommend getting their 1.5 inch size as well.

The bristles on this are far too tight to use for pastry finishing, but I can use it for other things during the overall baking process.

An excellent pastry brush. Have used it quite a bit and the bristles remain soft and intact to the applicator. Smooth wood. MADE IN USA!!

I don't actually use this as a basting brush. I use it to brush excess flour off the loaves of my homemade sourdough bread and to brush flour off my counter top before wiping it down. It works great! Thank you!

We love this brush! We use it for egg wash or soaking cake layers. The only issue we have found with it is that the bristles fall out sometimes so you need to be very careful and pay attention. If you are not worried about that, this is the perfect pastry brush for you!

This brush is hanging tough. We wash it with soap and rinse well, then squeeze the excess water off, hang it bristle side down to dry- no discoloration fo the handle and no loss of bristles. Been using this almost daily for a year!

These brushes are really great but eventually do start to loose hair. They are nice to have on hand for brushing melted butter, but do pay attention to the bristles before using to check for loose pieces.

Good quality brush at a great prince. I use it mostly for egg washing pastries and it does the job with minimal bristles falling out.

Found the Ateco brushes here at great prices. Ended up getting various sizes as I am sure they will all come in useful for various applications! They look great and are of good quality. Not experience losing the bristles yet.

I brought this brush to use from dusting off access corn starch off fondant decorations and it does the job, sure i can use it of other things too.

great great great brush! i use this consistenly when making pie dough. brush the excess flour to prevent tough dough. Sometimes these little brush comes handy in plating as well, to leave that nice streak in sauces

Bought 2 of these brushes. They both shed and still do. Used one on hot pancake to spread butter and the bristles melted like they were plastic. My old boar hair brush can be used on very hot pan and it does not denature or melt. If you are going to be using them for anything hot look for something else.

I recently ordered this pastry brush in addition to a smaller one for my daughter. She is an avid baker and these brush tools really help her achieve a great finished product. The bristles are great and are secured tightly into the brush, so there's no shedding onto the pastries. Finally the price point of this brush and the smaller one is fabulous compared to retail outlets. I give it 5-Stars!

Bought this as a gift for my mother who does a lot of baking and I can’t not tell you how happy she was with this. Quality is 10 stars!

This is a good pastry brush for putting butter on a pan. I also use it for artwork on cakes. The bristles can come off if used too aggressively.

These are okay. I'm not sure if i'm using them incorrectly, but I baste hot butter on some of our menu items and the bristles start to come off.

Great pastry brush for quite a lot of applications. This product is sturdy and we haven't had any bristles coming loose yet. We recommend this product!

This is by far my favorite pastry brush in my collection. I love how dense the bristle knot is. It can soak up a lot of fluid and disperses it like no synthetic brush ever could. These are extremely well made and very affordable, Pick one up today... You wont regret it!

This is a very nice three eights round white or bristle pastry brush it has a comfortable handle the word is really smooth finish it’s been working great at the restaurant and even using it at the house

great for small pastries and breads. the bristles last a long time, i always put them to soak in vinegar and water to wash out the let over grease or egg wash

Ateco Is my favorite baking brand. They make quality products. I bought this brush mainly to paint on my French macarons and it works perfect for that. Many others uses as well.

Compared to nylon or silicone bristles, boar bristles have higher heat resistance and greater absorbency, both important for a kitchen tool! The lacquered hardwood handle gives a classic.

This is a perfect basting brush. It has long, full bristles that hold lots of sauce or butter, etc, and distributes it on your food nicely.

we use this for putting on sauce on the open flame grill. it cheap and last awhile. we tried pastic ones before but it couldn't get as much sauce on the meat as these ones

Awesome brush I have enjoyed painting plates with it. It really helps when it come to presentation. Could not have found a better product any where.

We go through a lot of brushes. These are a great brush at a reasonable price. We have yet to have bristles come loose. We will purchase more of this brush.

I love Ateco stuff. The 1 inch size is great for home use. It covers biscuits, cookies, cakes etc without being too large and overlapping food items.

Boar Bristle pastry brushes work great. We use them for buttering bread and they seem to work better than any other product. They last a long time as well.

Whether it is for baking or cooking purposes, yhis is the tool to have. I can easily butter my bread now and the bristles don't fall on my foods

These do have so many good uses. They are indeed perfect for greasing baking pans of various sizes. It cleans easily, stores, well, and lasts.
