Wonderful heating core. They have never rusted on me -- unlike the other name brands have. They are also easy to clean with very little soaking and are dishwasher safe.

These heating "cores" are more like nails, but we prefer them over the more traditional cone-shaped heating cores. They produce the same evenly cooked cake without the need to plug the space in the cake afterward.

Very helpful for even baking of full or half-sheet cakes - comes out easily after baking and leaves virtually no evidence after the core is removed.

I used these cores with a 3-layer cake I make in 9" pans. Did what they were said to do. Kept the layers from doming in the middle and cooked centers evenly. Unfortunately, one broke on first use. These are inexpensive but not meant to be disposable. I'm not sure if it was my shipment or all of them. Not sure if I'll buy more to replace the broken one or not...

Very fragile but they do work well - the discs separated on several of the pieces making them unusable. It may have been due to shipping, but I think they're a little more fragile than the flower nails that I used to use. I had to toss a couple out. I was able to use half of what I ordered.

These serve their purpose to distribute heat in a cake pan. I have had a few break apart where the stem meets the round base, so be aware to that the joint there is a little week.

I bought these for all the cakes that I bake and they work great if you get them in one piece. They break super easily and I ordered two packs and half of them were broken in each pack so out of the 8 I only got 4. Websturant customer service was great and helped me out and replace the 4 broken ones but it was super frustrating and I had another one break after I washed it. I love that it takes up minimal space in the pan but I don't like how flimsy they are.

I was having a problem with uneven baking. My cakes were hard on the outside and finally done in the center. After using the heating cores, I always have even baking goods. I use two to three per cake and spread them out three to four inches apart. Great buy indeed.

I have never used heating cores before but these seemed to do the job well! The chocolate cake we make generally comes out very soft in the center but these cores solved the problem at a great price!

I use to absolutely hate receiving orders for extra large round cakes or !/2 sheet cakes since I always had a problem with them baking evenly and just not turning out to my expectations of them. I finally broke down a few months ago and ordered these Heating Cores by Ateco when I placed a recent order for cake supplies and etc. Let me tell you.... These things have changed my mind on sheetcakes and the larger rounds. I now take orders for those more willingly now lol and they turn out great every time... I'm going to need to order some more soon to keep on hand in case I lose or misplace any ;-)

stands perfectly in all cake pans and bakes the cakes evenly without domes. cakes bake evenly with this heating cores without dry edges. they are of very good quality as all other webstaurantstore products... will apply more soon

What a great invention. These heating cores put in the middle of your cake pans cook the cake from the inside out. It makes baking a whole new game!

These nails are a must have when baking cakes of all kinds, especially when dealing with larger sizes. Much less intrusive than heating cores, these can be easily added to cakes, cheesecakes, and pies to promote even cooking. What's more is that the resulting nail marks can be easily concealed - it's win-win!

I didn’t know this item could make suck a difference when baking. It took my cake 10 min less then normal and made it bake even . Really good item.

I got this product based on the product reviews and I'm happy with it. It does help cakes to bake more evenly and it's easy to clean.

Sometimes its the little things in life LOL. I dont know where these have been all my life!! The best little bit of money you could spend!! Not only do they help my yellow cakes (which are a denser butter yellow) bake evenly, it also helps all my other flavors bake more level & hardly have to trim them!! I have tried other much more expensive versions and these are the best. Get plenty of them!!!

I love this!!! Just by adding this heating core to the center of you cake pans, you make sure that your bigger cake are well cook in the center and not burnt on the outside. It allows for an evenly cooked cake.

These little things have been so useful in our kitchen for baking. They allow for a more even bake throughout the cake without over baked areas.

Ih man do these come in handy when i need to back a dome cake, circle cake whatever cake that dip and cant avoid doing so. These bake the middles alot fast than without.

If you bake cakes you need to have heating cores. These are a life saver when baking larger cakes to insure they baking evenly. They will also help keep your cake from falling in the middle. I like that these are smaller than some of the other heating cores on the market.

I really like these items they help the larger cake pans to cook evenly. They are definitely a must-have. I purchased them when I got the 18 in cake pan.

I use these cores when i am baking cakes. They help my cakes bake more even and level. Simple to use and remove after baking.

I must say, I was quite hesitant about these. The science behind them makes sense, but I was confused why I had never heard of them before. They really do work, and they seem to be best for double tier cakes that you plan on taking out of the pans. That said, if you're not concerned about taking them out before serving food, I'd assume they'd work for just about anything, including brownies.

These help my cakes bake evenly without drooping in the middle or over baking. They leave a slightly larger hole in the cake than a flower nail would but for the efficiency it's worth it!

I've been searching for the perfect heating cores for our big cakes and think we finally found them! Tried so many others that ended up being a waste of money or taking a big chunk out of your cake. These work great, especially if you use several. Helps things cook evenly and you won't even notice they were in there!

I love these heating cores for my cakes. They are especially useful for cakes baked in a pan with no center opening. They solve the problem of the center of the cake collapsing because it is not cooked...but the edge of the cake is.

These ateco steel heating core really work! i was doubtful of their worth seeing the price. but they really do its job of baking the cake evenly

The Ateco stainless steel cake heating cores are a life saver! Ever make a cake and the center puffs out of the edges are done cooking but the middle still has at least another 10 minutes? Well these guys eliminate that problem!! Pop in your empty pan, pour your batter and boom! Easy!

I loved these core heaters, they prevented the cake from getting a bump and they cooked even. It made it easier for me to even the cake out.

These are soooooo much simpler than using generic heating cores and are perfectly flat so you don't get the indents that you get using generic flower nails. My 3 inch deep cakes cook evenly and quickly with these gems!

These cake pan heating cores are designed to aid in even baking time for your cakes. I have had the problem (especially in different ovens that aren't always calibrated exactly) where one portion of the cake is beginning to brown while the other is still undercooked. It also reduced the dome that puff up on some cakes (I cannot attest to the differences in all recipes of course) but it amazingly works!

I bought three packs of these to make three 12" layers. I wanted to be sure that my layers cooked evenly and weren't raw or gummy in the middle. They worked perfectly.

I bought these thinking, "These can't work." I was wrong. I used 3 of these in a 14-inch cake, 2 in a 12-inch cake, and 1 in a 10-inch cake. They worked perfectly to even out the cooking and prevent the center of the cakes from doming too much. This wasn't so necessary in the 10-inch, but I'm sure glad I had them for the larger ones.

These Ateco heating cores work perfectly to evenly heat my cakes. I usually use 1 for a 6 inch cake and it helps to cook the cake faster.

I couldn't wait to get these and once I got them I've been using them non-stop. Why did I wait so long to purchase these? My cakes have been even and they have reduced my baking times on the larger cakes. I would highly recommend these for everyone that bakes they will make your life so much easier.
