This product is wonderful! I wanted to make sure my cake slices were uniform and of equal size as I sell a lot of individual slices. This did the job perfectly. Just press down nice and firm and it scores the cake, then to slicing and packaging I go!

This is a nifty tool to have for home use - every year pies at Thanksgiving would be mutilated by well meaning guests trying to help. I can now use this to 'score' the top of pies and cakes and those same guests can follow the lines to cut even slices.

I am always looking for better ways to divide cakes for a multitude of people. This will help a lot.

Love this cake marker! We actually use it for our cheesecakes to be able to cut our slices evenly, no more guessing. Has cut our time down on cutting up cheesecakes.

We've been using this cake marker for years and it has held up well. Very sturdy. I do wish it were a little more "foolproof" with maybe color coding or something so that it was really obvious which side needs to face up in order for you to get 10 or 12 slices, depending on what you want. It does have an imprint to tell you which side is which but it's not so easy to read. Sometimes our staff do it one way, and realize it was wrong, and then they do it the other way. But you can also just hold it up and count before you do it.

These Ateco cake markers are a necessity to have in any kitchen where cakes are made. You always think you can eyeball it- but you cant! I have one of these in every size.

Excellent for marking cakes and excellent for marking cheesecakes too. I use this everyday at my bakery. I highly recommend this cutter. No need to use a lot of pressure when using this tool.

This marker is quite sturdy and I like the indicator numbers to ensure the correct side is down. It is best to soak it for cleaning purposes.

Prior to utilizing the cake marker, cutting equivalent bits of cakes was a troublesome task. This is great in theory. Although I find that it ruins the top of a cake by the frosting sticking to it and pulling away from the cake when you press this into it.

I was looking for a slices were I can have more then 12 and I found this one, it works so good and I use it all the time on my cakes to have even slices.

I expected something flimsy and flexible when I ordered this cake marker for such a low price, but it's actually pretty firm and sturdy. I make tall cakes of three or four fat, 9" layers, typically, so portioning them into 14 or 16 slices still ensures a generous serving. The only marker I could find in a local store was flimsy, and only marked twelve slices. I'm pleased that I scored this great deal.

I have used this a couple of times and it seems to be very durable. Is not flimsy and marked my pumpkin cheesecake perfectly so I could cut the pieces evenly.

Takes all the guess work out of producing equal slices. The only reason I don't give it a five is the round circle in the middle will lift the icing from the cake as you are marking if you are not careful.

At first I was kinda confused how I would use it. The I seen a video and got it had perfect slices of cake . I am happy I it this this way everyone gets same size slice.

I like that this is made out of plastic so it is safe to have around the house. I also like that I can choose betweek 10 or 12 slices
