LOVE these cake dowels. I am so happy webstaurant store sells them. We used to get them from our local Michaels but now we can add them to our wholesale order. These dowels are super easy to cut and use for multi tiered cakes.

I’m a home baker, but I make cakes from time to time around the holidays. I’ve tried (and failed miserably) at cakes in the past trying to use make shift rods – what a disaster! These can be cut down to size for the simpler two tiered cakes I make, but now I might try my hand at something a little taller now that I have these.

I like that these are easy to cut and you don't have to bust out the pipe cutter to cut them. They hold up really well too!

We love these dowel rods! They are strong & hold up heavy tiers of cake, but incredibly easy to cut to the needed length for each cake.

These are great for use in tiered cakes. They are long enough that they can be trimmed to fit any size cake layer. They are sturdy, we've used them for a while and have never had a problem.

These cake dowels are useful when securing tiered cakes. They are easy to cut if length is too long. Good to have on hand if you assemble tiered cakes regularly.

I love these plastic dowel rods! I use them to stabilize many wedding cakes that I've made. I never worry about the stability of my cake when i'm using these.

These are strong and stable and heavy-duty. If you're using these to stack your tiers, your cake isn't going anywhere! When using in a cake, be sure to trim them to the same length (and with a straight edge) to ensure the tiers stacked on top will be level.

These cake pillars/rods are very sturdy and give you that added peace of mind when assembling a wedding cake. They are just the right price that you can add that cost in to your cake orders and still be ok.

Love these dowels! They are very wrong! I use them for every tier cake I make, from 2tiers up to 6 tiers! I personally am able to cut each dowel into half and use the other half for each tier. You will need a heavy duty cutter to easily cut thru. I use a hedge cutter. (Only used for my cakes)

Easy to cut and use for cakes! Thick plastic is great for supporting each layer of cake, I've also used them as extra support for my cupcake stand when I thought it couldn't support the cake on top.

I use these dowel rods to support tiered cakes.. These are super thick and you will need a sharp utility knife to cut them.. I highly recommend it

This is the first time we bought these dowels, and they where not a disappointment! They keep our cakes from falling into one another, and keep our tiered cakes stable!

We use these in all our stacked cakes & work great. Only downfall is the length isnt really divisible by a two layer cake (so you end up having a few small unusable pieces left )over). I have spoke with other cake decorators & they agree as well

I was able to use my other scissors and get them cut with a lot of hard work so it may just be my cheap scissors but I thought it would be tough no matter what. Either way it worked perfectly and held up the cake! This cake was all buttercream so needless to say this sucker was heavy!

I use these dowls in order to stack my tier cake done the center of each tier. I also cut them in 3 and place them on the bottom tier at other parts of my cake for extra support

I baked a 4 layer 14" cake with a 5 layer 10 inch cake on top. I only had to use 2 dowel rods(I cut them in half) the cake was really heavy I was concerned that maybe I should have put more dowel rods for support but it was perfectly secured, I'm very satisfied!

Super supportive for my tier cakes, dowel the centers and my cake is not moving! Love that the rods are bigger than the generic bubble tea straw and the plastic is solid yet easy to cut. Love love love these!

I am happy with my Wilton plastic cake dowel rods. It held up nicely without and I had no concerns. It’s a brand I trust 100%.

I personally don't like these dowels very much. I found them really hard to cut. I couldn't get a nice even cut. It ate up a lot of the cake and didn't make the top layer straight at all.

I use these in all of my tiered cakes as I don't use a cake plate system so I don't have to worry about customers returning my property. I can cut these easily with a pipe cutter and they provide the stability I prefer in my tiered cakes.

These rods are pretty big but they can definitely prevent a cake from collapsing. They're very sturdy for tiered cakes and they make life so much easier.

These plastic dowels from Wilton were easy to use. I cut them with my serrated knife and what you want to easily slide them down into my cake.

I really like these. Wish more quantity in the bag was an option. I will definitely be reordering. So worth it. Feeling of cake security is important to me.
