A bit easier to clean than the aluminum ones but also slightly wider. The bastion is only 2" tall with the knob adding an extra inch.

Great mostly. The handles did eventually melt due to our grill temp, but we were able to replace them. For the price they are worth it, but know that eventually the handles will probably melt.

We bought two of these to use on our griddle to melt cheese on burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches. Very durable and the sandwiches fit nicely under it.

These steel basting covers are amazing and a must have for every griddle/ flattop cooking. I use these to melt cheese or to steam up veggies on the evo grill. Just the perfect size to cook for a small to medium batch. The handles do not get hot that easy. I recommend this product.

Awesome dome; all you have to do is take the lid handle off and presto, you have a vent. these are virtually indestructible and clean very easily.

These are perfect! We use these primarily to melt cheese on top of our burgers and eggs. The basting cover fits snugly around our sandwiches without taking up any unnecessary room on our griddle. The plastic handle is great for handling and does not overheat. We wash these in a commercial high-heat dishwasher every weekend and they keep their shine nicely.

It's a simple basting cover right? But the point is that it does it's job and is quality made and will hold up against even the busiest, roughest cooking conditions

This thing works as it is intended to! i use it to cover a burger with cheese on top to melt on a flat top in my restaurant. The handle does not get hot either! So far so good and pretty sturdy

These American Metalcraft stainless steel basting cover is great! WE use these covers to steam our potstickers in our frying pans, and they work perfectly. The handle doesn't get too hot and stays pretty cool to the touch.

I love that the Basting Cover came in a smaller size. It makes it easier for me to use while cooking with my small cast iron pan. I love using the cover to keep food warm while it's still in the pan and it's awesome for melting cheese on burgers and sandwiches.

We bought these to use as covers for our electric griddle in order to melt cheese or help steam items. They were very good at first but durability isn’t great. They broke down after a few months and the handle screw failed. They would be great for low heat or low volume applications.

This basting cover does exactly what it needs to. Several months after use, the handle is attached firmly. There's been no shape change. It cleans pretty well.

These basting covers are very well made and sturdy built. If these sit on a hot grill for too long the handles do not get hot or melt. The stainless steel is very easy to clean. Will definitely purchase again!

The basting covers work great for steaming on the flat top griddle. The heavy duty stainless is worth the extra few dollars. These really hold up well to the high heat, and kitchen abuse.

This item came damaged and it was cheesy. Thin aluminum and poor quality. The handle came seperatly and did not screw on properly.No knob was included in the package

Way better than any other options available. The aluminum covers debt easy do not clean as well and become warped from the heat. Get this basting lid

this dome lid is perfect for melting cheese on a burger, speeding up the grilling process of onions, and any other purpose on our flat top grill. The handle doesn't 100% screw on tightly, but by no means is it falling off.

These dome covers are awesome! we use them for cooking most of our meats on the flat top grill as they speed up cooking time.

A few of these worked well, a few of these became warped right away and wouldnt create a very good seal to really get the steam working... Might want to order a couple extra just to make sure!

Fantastic and easy to clean and maintain. I would highly highly recommend using a small lock washer to prevent the knob from coming loose easily.

These dome covers are great. We use them for melting cheese over burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches. High quality thick gauge metal makes for a long life. Only complaint is that the nob on top comes loose often, we lost a few of the tops.

We use these domes to melt cheese on our big 10oz burgers. They have held up well with over a years worth of use and abuse from the kitchen staff.
