I've been making my own pizza sauce, but it's a major hassle, and I just can't get it quite right (usually, it leaves the crust soggy). I'd tried other "canned"/bottled sauces from the local supermarket, and found them far too sweet for my taste. One "high end" sauce was far too acid. I'd almost give up finding a sauce with a decent balance of sweet to acid. Stumbled on this one on another site, read the reviews, and it seemed that most folks really liked it. Decided to give it a try, and BOY am I impressed! This is the one for me. Perfect balance of sweetness and acid, with just a slight hint of heat/spiciness. This is a very good STARTING point for your pizza sauce. To really make it shine, add your signature blends of seasoning--granulated garlic, basil, fennel seeds, etc. At this price, you simply can not lose!

nice thick pizza sauce but will need some doctoring as its rather bland by itself. i added some garlic,basil and a pinch of sugar to it.

This pizza sauce is vert thick and rich in flavor. You do not need to add anything else to it to enhance the flavor. It's perfect.

Very good cost/benefit. It is a little bit watery but nothing that really affects your pizza. I have bought a couple times and with this price I will be always ordering here.

I like the thick pizza sauce. It spreads well and has good basic flavor. I did do a little work on it to add flavor but if you are looking for a good and easy sauce in volume this is it.

Same as above, bought this single can to try, tweaked it just a little to our taste but it is great without tweaking. We liked it so when we ran out we ordered the case next

furmanos sauce is the way to go if you want to make pizza lovers happy! the thickness of the sauce keeps it from soaking in and makes for a great base for the toppings. it also is very tasty to use as dipping sauce for strombolis. the big #10 cans provide a lot of coverage. i dont have to doctor at all for flavor. saves time(and money)

Smooth & heavy! Used to make sauce to go with Zoodles (zucchini noodles). Came out great! Have also used to make pizza sauce for deep-dish pizza, which also turn out great (and greatly reduced the amount of time needed to simmer because it is extra heavy).

This furmano's pizza sauce comes in a #10 which contains enough sauce for atleast 8 pizzas. It is light bodied, and seasoned with the slightest amount of basil.

One can very much taste the sweet tomatoes in the sauce. The flavor profile is more similar towards ketchup than a pizza sauce. It still has a nice texture and can make a good pizza. I add more oregano, salt, pepper, toppings, and cheese to make it my own creation.

Runny with almost no flavor. I added 1/2 Tbs of Italian Seasoning per cup and let it sit over night to blend in the flavor. Was better that way, but requires a night for prep.
