A holiday season favorite for us and both of our stores! The Shank's Peppermint extract is fantastic. Super concentrated so you don't need a lot to flavor what you need to be peppermint, but it's not cloying or overpowering at all. We use it for a peppermint simple syrup for peppermint mochas at our coffee shop in the winter as well as specialty peppermint flavored pastries during the holiday season as well. Delicious and highly recommend!

I have tried many other brand of peppermint extract, and this is the best tasting for a great value. We use this in baking as well as in our smoothies to create the perfect Mint Chocolate Smoothies. We even add it to our Coffee Sugar Scrub for a beautiful aroma and it leaves your skin so refreshed.

Just what peppermint extract should be. Was a bit nervous about the propyl glycol as the solvent, but now I prefer it to alcohol. Will turn a bit yellow and foggy once you open it but this is because it absorbs a little water over time once it is opened.

Or if I may go back to the hey day of a certain ice cream company, for those who remember, it's sort of like their Party Peppermint ice cream, a delicately mild peppermint flavor that was always a must-have during the holidays at our house. It's a mild but not weak flavoring that to me is great for peppermint sticks but not so much for peppermint patties. That's another flavor profile.
