I don't use this extract for its conventional purpose of baking; i use it as a medium to apply different edible paints to cakes and cake decor. It evaporates fast and doesnt leave any color or real smell behind. It's serving its purpose so far.

I love this site. I have ordered many extracts and have never been disappointed. They are great!! The only complaint is the plastic bottle. I remove the extract and put it in glass bottles I purchased.

Originally bought the Shank's spearmint thinking it was the peppermint, but it was a happy accident! The spearmint is definitely very different than the peppermint but they're both unique and lovely in their own minty ways. Definitely recommend getting both of them and seeing which one you prefer in your drinks and baked goods. We just made a vegan and gluten free spearmint swirl cookie that guests really enjoyed!

Perfect flavoring! I had been using peppermint flavoring instead, and when I found this I was very excited to try it! I will continue to use this for a long time.

This is the only extract we use for all of our lemon baked items. This extract flavors our lemon loaf and lemon layer cake perfectly and the flavor in the cake tastes delicious. This is the only brand we use.

This Lemon extract is a great bulk option and adds a great lemon flavor to whatever you are using it for. I love the price on this item also. Most people use lemon extract for baking. We use it for making smoothies and it tastes really good. For a 24 oz smoothie we only need half a teaspoon to add a good flavor.

This was a great find, as orange extract is not one of the easiest extracts to find. I have used this extract in several recipes, and it gave each of my recipes, a very natural citrus essence.

This is by far the best Orange flavoring I have used, it's not thick and gel type like others on the market. Whether in lemon cookies, or lemon sblueberry cones, this is perfect. The only thing that would be better is if it was sold in bulk.

I have tried many other brand of peppermint extract, and this is the best tasting for a great value. We use this in baking as well as in our smoothies to create the perfect Mint Chocolate Smoothies. We even add it to our Coffee Sugar Scrub for a beautiful aroma and it leaves your skin so refreshed.

One word well three Homemade Peppermint Patties! Good basic peppermint oil at a fair price. I also blend a little with baking soda for homemade toothpaste.

The Shanks Pure Orange Extract has a great citrus taste. I love it in my royal icing for a snappy flavor! I love that it is clear also!

Like all Shanks extracts, this is a very subtle lemon. They do a great job of not giving you that synthetic aftertaste, but not a BANG in your face lemon flavor. Pairs very well with fresh lemon zest and juice.

I have had stronger anise extract, but as most of the comestible items on Webstaurant it well worth the money. I use it to make a licorice espresso.

This is a good quality pure anise extract, although I prefer to use pure anise oil in my baking for a more pungent taste and scent

Lemon extract tastes good. It's been out if stock for a while but glad it's back. Some store seem to have a shortage of lemon

Its perfect for baking, it isnt an overpowering taste like most and it seems to last forever because you dont need much in your recipes

It’s a little strong but it is a great extract. Has good smell and a little goes a long way/ don’t need much if you add too much it starts to taste bitter

I use this pure lemon extract in my home kitchen. It is just as good and much less expensive than the lemon extract that I was purchasing in my local grocery store.

This is hands down one of the best orange extracts on the market. It's the same price as a small 2 oz bottle I typically buy from Watkins AND it doesn't have that cheap alcohol smell or taste to it. I use it in my royal icing and find it is a nice complement to the cookie without being overpowering.

Love this peppermint extract! We normally get McCormick but wanted to try something different. The taste is perfect and not overwhelming and the quality of the extract is great for buttercream.
