This is a reliable yeast. It has lasted in my refrigerator for over a year without loosing it's quality. I use it for breads and pizzas in my bread machine and for dough I mix by hand.

Great yeast, never fails us. I like that the case comes with 20 individual pounds of yeast because I can pull what is needed for the day and leave the rest in storage.

Love this yeast. I mix it in directly with flour for making my yeast breads, cold everything, but this yeast never fails me. Great oven spring with it.

When it first arrived i was a little hesitant because the packaging was closed really tight no air in the bag so the powder was hard until I opened it to get some air in it?? it was shipped out really fast and good condition. It was just the packaging

This yeast has never failed me. I go through a pound in around 3 months, so I haven't had any issues with expiring. I'm always getting a consistent product for my breads and pastries, and I love the big size so I font have to fumble around with "individual" serving packets.

Excellent quality yeast from lesaffre. This is our preferred brand and it activates quicky and the bread always rises great. Value is great when you purchase by the case.

This is such a great, reliable yeast. And, as a plus, it costs less than any other one I’ve found! I purchased this 1lb pack and keep it in a jar in my fridge. I’ve kept this brand for over a year before, and it’ll still work great!

Huge bag of yeast!! No longer worried about a yeast shortage after I got a pound of this. Once you open it, divide it between air tight jars. I keep one in the fridge and the other two in the freezer. Makes for perfect bread each time

Lesaffre SAF-Instant Red 1 lb. Vacuum Packed Dry Yeast has been a favorite of mine for years! It's a quality that we've grown to love. 1lb packs are a great value compared to the tiny/individual packets you find at your local grocer. The yeast was delivered in a very timely fashion, and packaged well in a cardboard box, along with enough bubblewrap so it did not get punctured in the even that the box was damaged - which it was not. The brick of yeast was rock hard upon arrival, and is very fresh upon my opening and first use. I've made over 10 loaves of bread, english muffins and bagels since receiving this yeast, and the products rise beautifully, telling me that this yeast is above par, extremely fresh, and the best of the best. This is a great value for a great product! A+!

Recently purchased a bread machine because my daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease. Gluten free bread is expensive so I decided to make my own. This package of yeast makes it much easier to have on hand.

I have been using this brand yeast for a few years now. It works great for any recipe requiring yeast. Does not need proofing, just add and mix. I make bread and have never had issues with it's performance. The bag is not resealable. I use 2 small jars that use good sealing lids for storage and dispose of the bag.

Great yeast! Our go to brand for any of our baked goods. Only gave it 3 stars instead of the full 5 because we ordered a case of this and there were 3 duds in the case that didn't make our breads rise. It was an easy fix after we tested a few things. We realized it was the yeast and just threw out the rest of the package and opened a new one. This is a fault on the producer, not the supplier, however. Glad that Webstaurant carries this product.

I bought this and finally used it to make cinnamon rolls. I was nervous but the instructions was on point. You wont go wrong using this and you must follow the instruction to the T.
