Flax seed is extremely healthy, and we make sure to eat it every day, hence the large amount we buy (for a great price!). We add a spoon to the morning smoothie. It's also a great egg substitute in baking (1 spoon ground flax seed, mixed with 3 spoons of water).

I grind these up for my smoothies and soap, I use them whole to make natural hair gel, great product,great price, will be ordering more soon, forgot to add to my last order.

It could just be me but these smell a bit rancid after grinding them up. The other flax seeds I have don't produce that smell so I don't know what the deal is there. Again, it could just be me.

Do not take the power of the flax for granted. Fresh flaxseed is vital to Good Health, especially for vegans. The seeds are not dried out and they are fresh and plump. They do not taste rancid. I will buy again.

It's flax seed. It's a good deal, and it's in bulk. Now you can add flax seed to everything. We even started flaking it with our oatmeal flaker to include on the crust of our bread. Very nice nutty taste.
