It seems to be the same product as name-brand and foodservice options, just at a lower cost. Win-win for us. Note that if you plan on crushing it for cooking, there's a pre-crushed peppercorn option.

These peppercorns rock you can grind them up or use them in a brine or whatever recipes call for whole black peppercorns. They are very fragrant and have a great peppery taste.

This is some great pepper! If you want fresh pepper, you got a grind it fresh. These whole peppercorns will make you feel like you’re in heaven. Spicy, bright, and not too sneezy. Plus, their container makes an awesome shaker!

There's nothing like using nice, whole black peppercorns instead of pre-ground black pepper. You can toast it up to release more of it's flavor and give it a slightly different taste!

WHOLE BLACK PEPPERCORNS. The best way to season everything, freshly grind in every application. I burn through the reservoir of my pepper mill every week at home. I used to purchase the smaller containers, but this is my first time getting the 5 lb jug. Worth every penny.
