While it's bulk salt, there's an issue with packaging. Anytime we order bulk salt, the entire package becomes "a-salt-ed" and 1/4 of the enclosed amount is unusable

Although it is 25 pounds of coarse sea salt, i was led to believe it came in a plastic container, when it only comes in a bag which was difficult to store.

This salt taste's good. A good way to get a feel for it is to dilute a pinch of it into 8 ounces of water and sip on it. It is not VERY coarse, but rather medium course. Work's well with our grinders.
