I've used this seasoning on everything. I really love using this on my ribs before I put them on the grill. Its great on crabs, but its also great on my other meats too.

Marvelous blend of salt and celery flavors with smooth under tones of paprika and mustard, obviously perfect for seafood but works surprisingly well in fried rice.

I found that I like this mix better than Old Bay, and it is more reasonably priced... great with shrimp and lobster and crab... I use it and like it...

The flavor is very good. I only wish that the pieces of herbs and spices were a more similar size; it looks good in the jar, but I worry that I'm not getting an even distribution of them when I use just a small amount of it. It seems like the amount of salt in particular is likely to vary.

Fast delivery and great packaging. This seasoning adds wonderful flavor to seafood, but i also use it on french fries and tater tots, too. You can also add a little bit to biscuit mixes for an added kick.

Very good smell and flavor. A great addition for any seafood dish but is a little heavy on the salt for my taste. I would check any additional salt before tasting.

It is difficult to find a really decent crab spice unless using Old Bay. The Upper Bay crab mix is the best we have tried at the restaurant. We use it in our sauces, crab cakes, and even drinks. The price is great and the taste is from Maryland!

This seasoning is actually very good. A little goes a long way but too much will make crablegs salty. i used this in a crab boil.

Very similar to old bay. I love it it goes good with all different types of seafood. It does have a little bit of a spice to it which is good.

To me, upper bay crab mix tastes very similar to old bay. The big advantage is that it is much more affordable. The main ingredient is salt, so keep that in mind.

This upper bay crab mix is comparable to old bay crab seasoning. We use it for rubs and soups. You simply can not beat the price.

I've use this for seafood of all kinds and it always come out pretty damn good. I've also used it in Vietnamese crab soup and it is also perfect for that.

The crab mix, initially I did not like. But it grew on me. Now I use it and the Herbs and Garlic Blend quite often. Great as a seasoning, for marinades, and to use salads..mmmm good.

this is a clone seasoning simular to old bay.its just as good and a lot cheaper. its great on shrimp also.just add to the water

We actually like this product is a seasoning it's very similar to what you might find to put on the outside of crabs. Perfect for somebody in the middle Atlantic states. This is NOT old bay!

so I got shrimp and ran out of the other brand of stuff I put in the pot - so I put the crab mix in - that was the best shrimp I ever had - i can't wait to make crab cakes if it made my shrimp taste that good

This was purchased to be a replacement for another seasoning my mother used in a dish. While it did not do a good replacement job we have found a couple better uses forbit. Good flavor!

Great upper bay crab mix. Terrific for cooking and boiling lobster tails. A nice spice that is cheap but has a great quality taste and packaging.

Regal upper bay crab mix comes in a 10 pound bottle and is excellent for creating a crawfish boil or a llow crab boil that you can serve as you're changing recipes can also be used to make Cajun sausage and for creating country ribs.

I use it mainly for crab boils. Combine it with Zatarain's spice pouches and it's perfect. I also mix it with butter and toss potatoes, corn, shrimp, etc. in it. Perfect spice and salt level, absolutely delicious.

I have always been an Old Bay fan but I tried the Regal Bay Crab mix recently and its fantastic. I think from now on this will be my new go to “Old Bay” seasoning. Flavors are great and you cannot beat the price!

Of course I put this on my crabs legs and it was surprisingly good. The only thing is that you don't have to add too much because it can become salty if you are not careful but other than that its a keeper for seafood

I got Regal brand’s crab mix to compare it to Old Bay crab mix packets. I find that Old Bay in large amounts is VERY salty, too salty for my taste. Regal uses quality ingredients and they focus on the spices rather than overloading you with salt. This is my new go to when making crab cakes at home.

The Regal Upper Bay seasoning is not quite as good as the name brand seasoning, but the price is absolutely right! I used this in a fish boil or as an addition to any seafood based dish.

This is just as good at the popular brand but costs much less. I like to use it to steam my shrimp with. I also use it in tuna salad.

while this is a decent general spice mix, it's not really similar to Old Bay as the description says. it may have hints of similar flavor but it's not a substitute. that said, it's a decent tasting spice mix but there is a lot of salt in it so go light!
