Reviews for Regal Big Flavor BBQ Rub Seasoning - 12 oz. - 12/Case

This seasoning is not what I expected. It not salty or tasteful. the texture is powder like. You have to have your own seasoning for taste.

The spice blend I received looks nothing like the two pictures shown at the top of this listing. The jar of spice in the picture is reddish and the rib picture shows coarse and chunky spices. It appears that looking at all the reviews, people got one of two different mixtures. A reddish colored one they love or a greenish bitter one they hate. Unfortunately, I received the bitter one that looks like cumin. No paprika or sugar in mine. I can't give a review on what it tastes like on meat because I won't take a chance of wasting any more money than I already have on the two 12oz bottles I purchased. If I could return it I would, but that would cost me more money. Which one will YOU receive?

I didn't care for this product very much at all. The flavor tasted washed out. I tried it on smoked meats, roasted chicken, fried and baked pork chops and the results were the same. It is missing many things to brighten it up a bit. I don't recommend this product if you like your food flavorful.

This is NOT bbq seasoning at ALL. As a nationally ranked bbq restaurant, we were looking to add to our spice line as a base, do not buy this with intenet to use for bbq. its just not good at all, i do not even want to give a one star.

Trash, trash, trash! Bland and bitter! No flavor at all! I will never order a blend from Regal ever again! The seasonings like the onion powder, garlic powder, and so on are on the money however your blend are trash! I had to remix every blend I purchased from you to make it taste like something. I do not know who did these reviews before me but they must be use to bland seasoning. This is not qualified to be called a rub. Your marketing is number one because you all really hyped up this garbage seasoning. I was really pulling for this to be what y'all advertised but you truly missed the mark. I will order from you again just never ever a blend.

This has a really nice yet different flavor. I would not describe this as typical bbq flavoring at all. It almost has a slight curry smell to it. Many people check the ingredients to see if I'm lying when I tell them there is no curry. It's a good change, just not bbq flavor.

I also ended up with the green, bitter, powdery version of this (as mentioned in other reviews); certainly no paprika or sugar. It's not just missing something - it made my chicken disturbingly inedible. Clearly there is some kind of manufacturing issue, which is actually scary because who knows what's in it. I hate having wasted my time and money, and having nothing to feed my kids for dinner is the worst.

I just purchased the product thinking it was gonna be nice and red but it was green and better. There was no taste of any barbecue or sugar flavors at all. If I had known all the reviews I would’ve not order it I will be using this product just because I had already purchased it and not being able to either exchange it or return it, which I found very bad customer service, I will not be ordering anything from this company again due to the fact that they are not willing to work with the customer. The customer service only knows what’s in front of them but they’re not aware of the fact that the seasoning make a big difference in cooking. This is not barbecue seasoning at all at all , it seems more of a like like a Spanish seasoning. It might have the right ingredients on there but it’s not the same.

Great product tastes just like the higher priced brands, does the job well with for less money.

We use this seasoning for our brisket and pork butts. Great to just flavor and the quality is excellent. Our customers have been loving our meats with this bbq seasoning.

We use this as a great base for our BBQ Rub. A little extra heat and its perfect for us. You could add more sweet if thats what you are looking for but we are very happy with it.

Absolutely amazing. I used this on chicken, steak, and pork and every item was to die for. We also used it to make burgers and they were great as well.

We use this bbq flavoring as a rub for our pork products. It gives a nice flavor to pork shoulder, pork steaks, and ribs. We will buy again.

I always have a bottle of ready made BBQ seasoning like this in my pantry. Sometimes you just want to whip up some quick bbq in your instant pot and this is the way to go.

regal seasoning is one of the best for the price. really like it for smoking and rubbing ribs. tastes good and works good for chicken too

Generally Regal spices are great but this stuff is Awful, Terrible, Horrible. It taste like Curry so if you want East Indian BBQ this is the stuff for you (they don't eat cows).

great mix of sprice s and herbs really adds flavor to your barb ecue which I love to do. I put in on steaks, pork chops and chicken. can not go wrong with quality and pricing.

This BBQ seasoning mix is great on chicken, and also an interesting addition to pastas and rice. If you wanna try something nice, toss some of this into the bread crumbs when making some fried chicken for a taste you're sure to try again.

This is my 1st and last time ordering this seasoning...it is nothing like a bbq seasoning. AWFUL...seems more like a curry. Good $$$ wasted!!!! They need to go back to drawing board

This product has a good strong flavor. My husband has not used it by itself...he adds it to his homemade succession for an extra kick. Great addition.

My dad loves this BBQ seasoning and really enjoy the nice flavor it adds to his meat. The seasoning is well packaged and can not find anything like it locally.

A pretty generic BBQ seasoning. Great for a quick dry rub for ribs or Boston Butt. Love the price and the freshness of the product.

I love the freshness of Regal's seasoning blends. They are well packaged and great quality. The big flavor BBQ seasoning was a great buy and awesome on our pork shoulder.

The Big flavor BBQ seasoning is a great base. We added a few other seasonings to the mix to get the taste we were looking for. The seasoning is good but I suggest using it as a starting point.

This rub is perfect for and best used on beef and poultry where you don't need or want a lot of sweetness... As a barbecue caterer, I can swear by this rub on brisket !!!

What!!!! This has gives a big flavor to ribs. I was soooo surprised that it packed the punch that it did. My ribs were a hit and no one knew that I used only this seasoning. Didn't add anything else and I tell you the taste was GREAT

This Regal Big Flavor BBQ seasoning indeed has big flavor! It was a huge hit on our BBQ chicken. The seasoning is super finely ground into a powder form. It is not spicy at all just a great BBQ flavor.
