Professional chefs beware! This set was extremely sharp and hard to attach the bottom bar to hold the sterno. The metal clips also snapped off my first attempt so I then decided to place on top not try to insert the bottom due to the razor sharp sides this then caused the base to collapse. All of this on site of a catering. The things cut my palm while pressure was added to side way attach the sterno tray if you don’t the legs collapse. Also the lid holder is a joke and does not hold the lid. I’m not sure about other options but the collapsible ones are a no go & i am weary to buy any choice chaffers now I’m guessing they are all sharp. The chaffers really let me down this weekend

I bought it for a wedding, but I couldn’t use it. Frame were thinner and couldn’t hold heavy food; also the water pans were stuck together.

This item is not built for commercial grade catering events and pretty cheaply built did not last for one event - total waste of money.

I rarely give one star reviews however this product barely deserves that. These chafing dishes are downright dangerous, the material is so thin and flimsy and the edges are razor sharp. Two of my servers actually experienced pretty severe cuts on their hands when washing these things! I was optimistic about receiving these chafing dishes because they have really decent reviews however I don't believe that I received the same product they reviewed. They do function as they are supposed to, the covers fit fine, the included hotel pan is a far better quality than the chafer itself. I would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing these.

Caution, the Choice Economy 8 qt. Full Size Chafer with a Folding Stainless Steel Frame is a liability for restaurants. These were intended for outdoor catering events that did not require fancier chafing dishes. However, the edges are extremely sharp. Attempts to assemble them resulted in multiple hand injuries. Several employees were injured while preparing them for catering. In addition, the screw used to secure the handle to the lid looks like it could easily become loose and fall into the food. I was unable to to use them. The risk and liability outweigh the necessity.

Excellent product. Edges are sharp until worn in. So beware of that. But overall this bundle is the best bang for your buck!

These are so portable and very affordable. We use them for small luncheons and they have been great and well-made for the price.

Bought 4 and I'm very happy with the purchase! The boxes were a little cracked but once I opened the packaging everything was beautifully intact. Will buy more!

Great for a start, but the metal quality isn’t great. It rusts and stains. I never quite understood stainless steel. They get the job done and are presentable enough though.

They work great for the price. Simple and easy to store. Edges are however sharp! Bandaids are cheap compared to more expensive and balkier chafers

Well built. Just be careful when assembling because the edges are really sharp. I cut myself putting them together and so did another employee. They are solid when assembled though

I placed a large order and ordered two boxes of this product for a catering event. This item arrived on time, however it was damaged in shipping. Called customer service and they replaced it fast before my next event. Top Notch personal answering calls and handling issues.

These are a decent set for the price , we have been using them for months now however they are very sharp at the edges. After awhile they color fades and doesn’t look so shiny.

These are not very good…extremely sharp and extremely hard to get apart when shipped. Would not recommend!

I don't know the kind of material or metal that was used for these chafers but they are very sharp. It cut me like a knife when I was separating them. It's suppose to be stackable but when you stack them, its very difficult to pull them apart. You have to use a lot of force to separate them and the edges of the chafers are very very sharp like a knife and you end up cutting yourself. I don't like it because of how sharp the edges are.

Cheap doesn't even begin to describe this Chafer. Don't waste your money.

The chafing pans are razor sharp and are incredibly hard to separate. We stick paper towels between the stored pans when not in use, but it still does not help to pull them apart easily. Leaves fingerprints/blemishes even after cleaning which makes the pans and lids look dirty when serving.

Perfect for my grad ceremony, seems a little to thin, left fuel marks on bottom tray but worked for what i needed it for.

Edges are so sharp I have cut myself 2 x so far. I hope your knives are this sharp!

DO NOT BUY!!! Pans were stuck together. While trying to pull the pans apart, my daughter sliced her thumb on the razor sharp edges of the pan! Every single edge was razor sharp!

Very satisfied with the outcome of this equipment kept food hot and for it to be half pan it help more quality of food than it thought.

These chafers are perfect for occasional use. They fold up for storing so you don’t have large frames taking up too much much space. I only need them a few times per season, so they work great!

Great value for the price, looks nice and the folding frame is a real space saver! These have held up nicely and are the second Choice Economy product I have purchased and I would purchase further products from this brand.

This chafer is good quality and a very large size. Even without the heaters it will keep hot food warm with the lid closed for a long time.

These chafers were great for my baby shower. We used them to keep the brunch food warm. Great price! And they look like a million bucks.

we been using this stainless steel folding frame for last 1 and half year, and its same as new really nice product and easy to use.

these are very good for the price, a little concerned that a 6hr fuel can won't fit under it though, lucky I had some 2hr ones as well. not sure how they are going to work moving forward up a nice back up as well as a starter chafer.

The PRICE cannot be beat! I have told so many other chefs about these! They are sturdy and they clean up very nicely! I will ALWAYS buy my Chafers here from now on!

I ordered the Choice Economy 8 Qt. chafers to use at a upcoming event. They arrived rather quickly to my surprise and when I opened the boxes I was impressed by the quality of the pans. They are very sturdy and deep enough to use on my buffet table. I'm looking forward to many uses out of these chafers.

Very hard to pull apart. I suggest wearing gloves when putting the stand together as well.

So the quality is definitely “economy” sturdy enough and looks good enough for the purpose of hosting at home a few times a year. However I was extremely disappointed that my items arrived damaged. The box was busted and the pans were dented and almost impossible to remove from one another. And also scratched. I have an event in a few days I ordered these for and now I’m stuck trying to replace the pans locally last minute or use disposable which is not the aesthetic I wanted. Packaging should be better.

When is comes to keeping the food hot these are our GO TO! Great for buffet style or catering.

DANGEROUS! The pans and lids are VERY SHARP. I had to wear gloves so i dont cut myself as i needed to pry them apart from each other. Box came in warped. Stand is also a little warped. I'm trying to salvage this as the event i purchased these for is coming up soon. I would not recommend this product unless they fix the sharpness issue.
