Paragon 7105200 Spin Magic 5 Cotton Candy Machine with 26" Aluminum Bowl

This machine is junk. I own a Carnival King machine, and it performs well, if a bit slow. I bought this one in the hopes of increasing volume at the events I play. But no matter what heat setting I use, it just spits out little tufts of cotton candy that fly EVERYWHERE. I can't make cones with it, I can't collect the cotton candy to put in a bag, the head won't come clean without taking it apart. I lost money at my last event because of this machine's shortcomings. Do yourselves a favor and avoid machines with the tubular elements, and get a ribbon-style element instead.

It's best value. They use to be cost less and could not be beat. But there a little pricey now. like everything else in the world. But can have quirks. I've owned 10 over the past 7 years. I have 5 in production still with this new one. there less then 2 - 3 years old. I get about 1 year of rentals before issues arrise, and coils or loose spring need adjusting. The transport screws seize if get suger on them. Wich is impossible not to so they are terrible design. 4 years 5 if lucky untill major failure. I've rebuilt a few from spare parts. coil design also by bad engineer. The cloth coating tears after just couple of deep cleans. It has no flexibilty should be covered in wax like edges Makes no sense. We use electric tape to keep coil wire from touching the machine it will arch, fire trip breakers. Basiclly they need due diligence maintenance, wich ive mastered by having so many. If need 1 machine buy a different product.

I really don’t like the machine compared to my other one. I like that the candy fills up in the bowl but it also deflates as it’s filling up. It heats up really fast and smokes.

I purchased this cotton candy machine in hopes to make more cotton candy cones at our home football games. A few years ago I purchased the Carnival King CCM28 Cotton Candy Machine with 28" Stainless Steel Bowl - 110V It was a very good machine for the money until the heating element went out. Tried to get a new heating element,but they are on back order. So, I decided to purchase a brand new machine that would put out more cotton candy cones per minute. This one was suppose to put out over 200 an hour. I used it tonight at the football game and I was lucky to get one cone out of it. Very happy with this machine, works well. Low maintenance . Like the heat dial, keeps it running smooth, my employees understand how to keep it in the green area. Really nice machine.

This machine will be good for any type of commercial use. I find that when I use it indoors there is a fair amount of smoke left indoors after, even though the candy still tastes delicious.

The Paragon 7105200 Spin Magic 5 Cotton Candy Machine with 26" aluminum bowl is a great deal, it's a little bit on the expensive side but all in all it's large size and capacity makes for a whole lot of fun for a whole lot of individuals.
