Designed to help you warm and finish appetizers, soups, and signature dishes, this cheese melter is perfect for your high volume restaurant or bar. Since this model has a 27 1/2" opening, it can accept larger platters or multiple plates at the same time. Also, the shelf that holds the plates can be moved up and down among the 5 shelf positions to meet the needs of different dishes.
This cheese melter uses heavy-duty, metal-sheathed heating elements for greater durability in fast-paced kitchens. Standby mode reduces energy use by up to 75% during slow periods. For greater convenience, this model features a plate activation feature that senses the weight of a plate to bring the unit from standby mode back to full power without the need to manually flip a switch. This model requires a 208V, 3660W electrical connection for operation.
