Since this model has a 20 1/4" opening, it can accept two 10" plates at a time. Also, the shelf that holds the plates can be moved up and down among the 5 shelf positions to meet the needs of different dishes.
This cheese melter uses energy efficient quartz heating elements that are quick to heat up. A convenient standby mode reduces energy use by up to 75% during slow periods. Also, it has a 15 minute timer so you can be sure your food is under the heat for the perfect amount of time. This model requires a 120V, 1650W electrical connection for operation.

Love this sleek looking salamander. The neat thing about this appliance that the heat comes out from the side not from the back so we can put this real close to the wall. Not heavy yet not to light either. So happ6 to have this one in my kitchen. PS: it melts the cheese fast and perfect
