The 36" wide Vollrath Cayenne 40717 thermostatically controlled electric griddle will let you serve up mouth-watering steaks, pancakes, eggs, and bacon in your restaurant, diner or steak house. Its superior heating element design distributes heat evenly over the heavy duty polished cooking surface. Three thermostatic controls (1 for each 12") allow precise temperature adjustment and distinct cooking zones from 120 to 570 degrees Fahrenheit.

A 2 1/2" backsplash and sloped side splashes help keep grease splatter to a minimum, and the internally-mounted grease collection is easy to empty and maintain.

    We bought this to replace the same model that went out. sadly it is just as bad as the previous one. they don't weld the drip ledge to the griddle top so the greases goes under it and drips down the side - quite the unnecessary mess. the drip pan overflows at less than half full. heating efficiency is fine. we've had this 2nd one just over a year and it;s starting to go out like the last one did.
