One of the worst purchase you'll make. Everything works for the first year and it starts leaking water from the back to the front. Extremely low quality workmanship.

The machine came broken from the factory, the ice harvest cycle is set to the maximum but does only a short cycle and the ice does not drop, just keeps freezing thicker and thicker. Unable to get help from any local warranty vendor scotsmans gave me, their list is old, one company won't help at all under the warranty, and the other two said they don't service scotsman anymore. Tried to return it but have not been allowed to yet. Scotsman verified on the phone that yes this is defective but offer no help other than to give me dead end service help. DO NOT BUY SCOTSMAN brand. Please help return this do right and let me return this Webstaurantestore.

Perfect size for our juice/ smoothie bar. This Scotsman under the counter ice maker make small ice cubes. Quite and doesn’t take much space, but at the same time makes plenty of ice for our establishment.

Absolutely the worst ice machine produced. I have owned it for 10 months and I have had 4 service calls on it already. If your factory authorized repair business is many miles from you, the repairman may charge you for service call mileage, but Scotsman will not reimburse you or the repair facility unless you contact Scotsman first and then have them approve the service call. This machine was shipped to me not working. It took 2 weeks to get the replacement part. The most recent service call has been 6 weeks in the making. The factory had the repairman take the ice machine and scrap it out and I was to supposedly get a new machine. However, this new machine may or may not be ready for the next 4 to 6 weeks. I have spent hundreds of dollars purchasing ice from a gas station so I can run my bar/restaurant. The product is crap, the service is crap, the factory is crap. Save your money and your sanity and purchase from ANY other manufacturer, stay far away from Scotsman!

I purchased this ice maker in June. The compressor completely failed by February 1st. Even though the machine is under warranty the parts are back ordered until TBD. There are no new machines available. So I am stuck buying ice by the bag. I have spent at lot on ice so far and I'm told I have at least 18 more days till I might see the part come in. I could not be anymore disappointed. I understand supply chain issues but the fact alone that this ice machine is completely broken in less than a year is inexcusable. I will never buy from Scotsman again.

Works, until it doesn't. We purchased 3 of these, one works without issue and the other 2 are non-functional. Warranty repairs are a joke, it takes weeks to get replacement parts and even with new sensors, filters, and control board it still doesn't make ice.

Machine stopped holding correct cube thickness after a year and a half with regular cleanings. Basically, the extended warranty covers nothing.

When we first got the machine, it refused to make ice for grand opening of the restaurant. Then randomly decided to work about a week later Moderate use over a year and a half and it decided to stop working again, not making ice as quickly as we need. When it works, it’s okay; cubes are smaller and more angular than I’d like but whatever.

I had mine for 2 years and it worked fine. I ended up getting a larger volume machine as by business grew. The only issue I ever had was that a few times the bar that judges whether it's full got stuck and the machine stopped making ice because it thought it was full. All I had to do was tap it and it came back on.

So far we haven't had any issues with this ice machine. The small cubes are perfect for our iced lattes! We do recommend this unit!

Absolutely horrible. Worked for less then a month before it died. Been waiting 3 months for warranty repairs. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this brand.

Unfortunately, like the other reviewers, I have found this product to be completely unreliable. Within a year, it began freezing up and the thermistors had to be replaced. It failed again a few months after that due to a faulty hot gas valve and TXV. Both techs I've had work on it recommended simply getting a new machine. Do not buy this product.
