Scratch and Dent Taylor TE50 50 lb. Digital Portion Control Scale with Built-in Handle

Never buy this thing. Complete waste of money. Have gone through 5 of them in the kitchen, some were replacements, screen dies or power issues with adapter or batteries, our scales are always on the injured reserve and we are down to the last one. Will never pay $ for garbage like this ever again.

We have been using this scale four days a week for the last year and a half. It worked fine, until it completely died. Very disappointed it did not last longer.

The scale is ok. It does waver in weight but all in all it is ok.

Used to be a good product. We as in heavily everyday and a pizza and a bakery operation. 5 years ago or so, one of these scales woild last us years. Now when we buy them, they stop working after a few months.

Do not buy! Bought 3 of these and all 3 of them the tare button does not work after 2 weeks of use. Very poor quality. Very upset how much I spent on these.

Worst scale ever! DO NOT BUY! I bought the scale in Feb.2, the power on button stopped working on May 5. 3 MONTHS and it stopped working. I was going to send it out for the warranty but I need to pack it in the original packaging before I can send it. Taylor brand isn't what it used to be.

This is by far the worst scale ever. Our company used to love these scales and all of sudden they all started to break 6 months after purchase. Then I bought replacement scales for the ones that were dead and they were broken within days. We are commercial kitchen and depend on our scales for production. Taylor te 50 has costs us time and money. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

This scale is complete junk. You can look at it wrong and it will break. We've warrantied many of them just weeks into use. We werent even getting close to the max weight and they kept breaking. i would take any other scale than this one

Bought this expensive scale in August. This is January and it just stopped working all together. Do not recommend this scale. Will be contacting company on warranty and will post outcome.

We bought two of these in Nov 2018 and the last one just broke. Glad we bought a backup, but disappointed they only last about 10-12 months. Work great when they work.

Really nice portion scale. We use ours for portioning bread and it does a great job. It's nice to have everything in one piece rather than some scales that have the readout part attached to a cord, which is liable to fall off of a table at times. Sometimes it doesn't want to tare back to zero, especially if it is currently displaying a negative number, but otherwise works great.

Since our business has grown, we've outgrown the smaller 16# capacity scales. This one works great for large amounts of ingredients and we especially love the option to keep it battery operated. Its also very lightweight so carrying or transporting it is simple!

This scale has worked very well for us when we portion our dough balls. It is so much more accurate than the mechanical scale we were using.

This is a great scale. We use this in our production kitchen every day and it hold up to a lot of wear and tear. Highly recommend
