We use the square 4 gallon buckets in these, 2 fit like a charm! We love everything about this freezer except the lid. we open and close it a lot. After a year of using the hinges came off. We installed new lids that open independently. A Freon linejust busted on it, they do not have refill ports so the repair guy had to install a port to refill it after fixing the leak. All that being said, this holds at 0 and stays there. The body of this is excellent!
