Scratch and Dent Avantco GDC-49-HC 53" Black Customizable Swing Glass Door Merchandiser Refrigerator with LED Lighting

It keeps stuff cold, but... the condensation on the exterior doors is thick and daily in the summer. The condensation continues to build until it is dripping wet onto the floor and obstructing yoour view of the interior. It sort of defeats the purpose of a glass door merchandiser. We live in humid central NY. However, our other glass door merchandiser by Premium Levella is located in the SAME room and set at the SAME temperature and has NO condensation issues. This Avantco fridge clearly sucks at insulating termperature through the doors.

Purchased 2 units in 2020. Both units have had leak in condenser and have had to be refilled in 2021 and 2022. Units are not worth the money

A great display area. We sell flowers and it even smells nice on the inside. Keeps the flowers alive and hydrated. It’s nice and cooling.

Fridge died after 11 months from a leak in the evaporator. Since I ordered earlier than I needed because of COVID, the warranty is lapsed.

So far it's a great fridge. The only difficulty that we had was getting it removed from the pallet. One of the bolts broke free from the fridge frame and required us to break the pallet to get the fridge free. If that bolt hadn't come loose, it would have taken 30-45 minutes to get this installed, since that happened it took a couple of hours. Now that it's installed and running, I'm very happy with my purchase, just wish that it had come with a blank option for the top light. Cheers!

Love this cooler! Holds a ton of stuff. Havent really seen a big increase in the electric bill either. Stays nice and cool. Only downside is that it's a little loud but not too bad.

This Refrigerator was exactly what we were looking for. It was priced fair, we are very happy with it. It was packed well and shipped as I was told.

Because I forgot to calculate the size of the door handle, it was a bit difficult to enter the door, but the service team behind me was very friendly to help me solve it, and I successfully pushed it in. The quality of the refrigerator is better than I expected, very quiet and no noise.

Product is as per our requirement and good. Delivery took almost 20 days.

Avantco refrigerator showed up with the wrong shelves and would not cool. New shelves eventually arrived. The compressor had to be worked on, slowly the refrigerator cools; within 3 months, it cannot cool anything below 75 degrees which is 5 degrees above the room's temperature. Tried to return it but Webstaurant Past Orders pages says too late. AVANTCO has been problematic and the service guy really wasn't interested in servicing it. No one will come out to repair it. DO NOT BUY.

I know have 2 of these cooler and they work as expected. They have a ton of great features but both came with damage from the factory.

Product is OK but the bottom tire is 4 inch high instead of that they need to keep it just 2 inch high so people can easily get in the door

We haven't had this refrigerator a long time but we absolutely love it so far. We love that it has an off/on lights inside the merchandiser. We tend to cut them off at night. It keeps very cold. I do wish we would have ordered the personalized sign instead of the blue. We do love and enjoy this purchase for our bakery.

Fridges look great and the company stands behind their products and shipping. Very happy we ordered with this site and will be ordering more in the near future :)

Such a great merchandiser refrigerator! We've had this for over 4 years and haven't had a single issue with it whatsoever. It runs like a dream and has great storage space. We keep sodas, waters, juices, bottled cocktails, beers, ciders, meads, sake and wine cans in there for our guests to grab themselves and take up to the register. The bottom level is perfect for storing eggs and gallons of milk and quarts of things as well for our kitchen team to grab as they need as well. Definitely recommend this cooler. It's worth it!

This refrigerator consistently refrigerates all of our cold products. It is reliable, very sturdy, at times, the weight of our food can be quite heavy. The racks have no issue holding our food. I also love the fact that the digital thermostat is on the outside.

Great Refrigerator! Excellent value, great for using as a reach in cooler for the Kitchen. Quiet operation, and easy install. Highly recommend, and I even bought a second unit!
